If you are sincere, you will agree her words were shaped by the usual internet feminism Dude I'm a guy and any girl that washes clothes for a guy is an idiot to me. If you can give a girl 30k for hair and you don't have washing machine, then there's something seriously wrong with you. |

This is exactly why Nigeria is under developed. If you want to compare GEJ security team with that of Buhari's them compare them in terms of what they achieved in the jobs which is providing security for the mass. GEJ's security team with Christians didn't help those with attacked by Boko haram, PMB's security team with Muslims hasn't solved the security challenges of the country so what exactly are we comparing? |

My work place as do most places pay salaries every two weeks (not bi monthly) so my first week was a pay week and on the Friday, I got paid but then I looked at the amount I was paid and did small maths and I felt it didn't add up, some small change was missing but I let it slide with the intention of waiting till I got my second pay check to see if the error would be rectified by then. Two weeks later, my pay check comes and I open the payslip right in the office and behold the outcome was worse. I started wondering if the company had reduced my annual salary without telling me. I was still one month into the job and I knew with my skills I could earn more so it was better to pathways with the company now than be cheated but I decided to wait for the 3rd pay check (5 weeks in)before going to speak with the MD. When the 3rd pay check finally arrived, I was certain I was being scammed and was going to talk with the MD the following Monday to get an explanation of what was going on. Luckily for me, I got to speak with someone that night who explained to me the difference between being paid bi weekly and bi monthly.
So I was spared the "embarrassment" of confronting the MD. A member of this group wasn't so lucky. He saw his pay check and went to HR.
Moral of the story, know if your wages are bi weekly or bi monthly before you "go an vex for oga at the top".
PS: For those in Ottawa, we need to pick a weekend that would be comfortable for everyone to meet in person and hang out. |

The problem with Nigeria is not bad be leadership, it's the binary thought of Nigerians and this thread proves it.
Attacking Buhari's government doesn't make someone an APC member neither did attacking GEJ's government give one membership of the APC.
If anyone has proof, let them show it. |

1. Yes.
2. Yes. The UK.
1)You thought I pulled my ideas from thin air?? So when you want to hire would you rather experienced or inexperienced? 2) I'm familiar with UK programs for the unemployed, never heard of any for the inexperienced. Can you share the name of the program please? There's a reason why students are encouraged to take gap year. |

I feel when employing, a mixture of experienced and non-experienced staff will help Nigeria's economy and growth.
This is the point of having a reasonable government that will help and assist businesses that want to recruit non-experienced staff and encourage companies that do. 1) Have you ever had the opportunity to recruit before? 2) Do you know any country in the world were the Government helps and encourages company to recruit non experienced folks? |

maziude: Hello Boss, Sorry for the delay in response. I have been battling with meeting deadlines.
Other bosses have already given the best line of action that your friends might have to consider.
They should contact supervisors in their intended research areas with a few worded email signifying their interests, experiences, the reason why they chose the researcher, attach their transcripts, resume and a list or links to their publications if they have any;at this point there is no need including research proposals unless explicitly asked to do so. They should contact as many supervisors as possible. They should ask the supervisors the funding criteria too because most schools require that the phd students be funded by their respective research labs.
The above applies to almost all disciplines. I do not know if your computer science friend has any publication atleast in a conference. If s/he does, /he has a higher chance. But then, s/he just needs to be convincing in her/his mail. Are you studying computer science? |

saucepan: Thank you. I also read somewhere that children of immigrants are expected to attend French schools. Considering the age and grade of my older children such a change would be drastic.
I am also considering Nepean. Pls which do you think might be easier in the long run considering all factors with cost inclusive but not the major determining factor.
I have to decide soon, so I can reach out to the school boards for their admissions.
Gracia. I don't know anything about immigrants attending French school but I don't believe it to be true. In my opinion, Nepean or staying in Ottawa would be the best choice initially at least until you settle down. It takes 3 months to get an Ontario health card and you need an Ontario address to get one. You are coming as a student so I don't know if your student insurance covers your kids. Once you are settled, you can decide on if Gatineau is better and you'd know how to handle the cross border issues. |

saucepan: Good day. Please I want to know if to live in Gatineau while schooling in Ottawa I will need any form of permit considering my children will be attending school in Gatineau.
Rents look cheaper in Gatineau with finer houses and compounds and I learnt it is just a 15mins trip to Ottawa but the snag is that it is in Quebec, which is a plus as I intend to study French during my studies.
So my question is do I need a permit to cover my children who will attend School there?
Thank you in advance. You technically don't need any permit but ideally if you work, you'd have to pay tax in Ontario and pay the balance in Quebec. Also you would have to get Quebec insurance for them (except they only attend hospitals in Ottawa) which means you can't call emergency services as they take people to the nearest hospital. |

Once you do that and show us the evidence, then you will be taken seriously.

Everyone knows how angry this pastor can get n how he gets pissed easily, here he is keeping calm on not exposing the so called person behind the scenes.
He shouldn't come with the line "I have forgiven o" because he was fighting tooth and nail to vindicate himself and employing the services of a lawyer.
just mention the name or names of the politicians finish! Guy you are wise. I can't believe a man who go to such lengths to clear his name and be satisfied without knowing who put him through such ordeal. |
