ivandragon:There are truly many scenarios but Oyegun and Tinubu on the same page is unlikely because they've been at logger heads since 2015. |
Holoou:Unless you work for a multinational, run from your old place. If you stay at your old place, expect the organisation to send someone to understudy you and be prepared to be discarded the moment they get the opportunity to do som |
ivandragon:You are wrong. This is probably the outcome Tinubu expected. If Oyegun is dropped, Tinubu and allies take control of the party. If Oyegun is not dropped, the reconciliation fails because Oyegun sabotaged the efforts. Whatever happens from now, a powerful bloc is going to be offended making the reconciliation almost impossible. |
Ecgigoddy:In all the places I have worked in, I can't remember them asking me what I graduated with. |
This is one of the problems of the educational sector in Nigeria. Not everyone who graduates with a first class wants to be a lecturer and also not every first class graduate can actually lecture. We need to move away from this practice of giving automatic lecturing jobs to people. |
EazyMoh:PDP has a very big chance of winning in 2019 if they play their cards well. The North has always had a massive vote turn out (+75%) while the south especially the SE averages around 30%. All the PDP needs is to raise the SE and SS to at least 60%. Benue, Nassarawa and Plateau are going with PDP. 2019 is PDP's to loose. |
Take legal action for sleeping with a minor? |
VonTrapp:I don't think he showed his hands too early. APC is not in a good shape and the President tried to get Tinubu's people to his corner with the reconciliation job, Tinubu just passed the baton back to the President and his goons. The President has to decide between Oyegun staying on as party chairman of the party disintegrates from inside. |

OP Do you want to see the oil gotten from Aje? If yes, go to Alausa, there's a sample for visitors in a bottle. If no, please explain what you mean. |
eclectic139:No. |
pennywys:There's nothing like"Nigerian Basketball Association". The official basketball body in Nigeria is the Nigerian Basketball Federation(NBBF). Just saying.... |
EternalTruths:The law on Self Determination was made to stop colonialism. Catalonia has been shouting self determination since the 90's and no one (E.U, U.N or the USA) has given 1 f***. |
In my opinion it's a case of ignorance rather than lying. |
Why do people have to do exams for promotion? |
It's very bad that African countries doesn't trade with themselves and part of the reason for this is a lack of infrastructure. Nigeria and African countries should be building cross border rails. Ethiopia did something like this https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-africa-37562177 I know there are plans in East Africa. |
vchykp:Men of God don't pray for the death of sinners, they pray for their repentance. "The Son of man didn't come for the healthy, but for the sick." "Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance" Anyone who prays for the death of another human is not a Christian so therefore the person can't be a man of God. What's the difference between what Oyedepo just did and Ezemmuo does in his shrine? |
vchykp:Stop calling yourself a Christian because you have no idea of what Christianity is about. On the cross, Jesus prayed for his killers. Stephen also prayed for his killers. The guy who held the coats of those who killed Stephen was a certain guy called Saul who later went on to become one of the greatest disciple of Christ. Matthew 5:44 "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." |
Nutase:The word of God says go in to the world and preach the good news. Bring people to Christ. If marrying an unbeliever would bring the unbeliever to Christ, then so be it. |
Nutase:What's your opinion on people who were led to Christ by virtue of them marrying Christians? |
Desyner:What is the church doing to ensure people live up to that responsibility? There are churches with tithes card, what are they doing to make sure they don't collect Ill gotten money? |
Nutase:I have that passage several times and nowhere was it stated that it was for people already married. Jesus said "Love thy neighbor as thy self", even married people don't love their spouses like they Love themselves. There is no room for segregation in Christianity. You can only be sure of yourself. There are lots of people who attend churches and are even workers in the church but they are nothing like Christ. Would you call that person an unbeliever? There are people who have been led to Christ by virtue of marriage. If that a bad thing? |
Desyner:I thought Christians are supposed to be the light of the world? |
The author of the post doesn't realise that it is the failure of the church that is bringing about the problems in the country. The church is supposed to produce upright folks who will inturn lead the way but the church is more focused on wealth and "unmerited favors" hence the moral decline of the society. The fact that corruption and churches are increasing at almost the same rate means there's a disconnect somewhere. |
pennywys:What has this got to do with Christianity? Hope you don't call yourself a Christian? Nutase: The poster I quoted is what the Bible talks about when it says do not unequally yoked with unbelievers. |
Nutase:1cor 7: 13 "And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him." 1 cor 7: 14 "For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy." When next you read your Bible, let the Holy Spirit Minister to you. Jesus was accused of mixing with non believers.... What's the difference between you and the Pharisees? |
Nutase:Ruth in the Bible was an unbeliever just so you know. Christ said "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself" It did not say "love only Christians'. Before you call yourself a Christian, please understand what Christianity is. |
valentineuwakwe:Nomination forms is not a government policy rather it's a party policy. The youths can form their own parties and handle nominations any how they deem fit. |
This was the same mindset the PDP had in 2013 but we know how it turned out for the PDP. The PDP believed in the power of incumbency, a merger they hoped will fail and Buhari's failure, now the APC is believing the the same power of incumbency, Buhari's popularity (which is shrinking by the day), and their perceived failure of the PDP. GEJ came into power in 2011 with Nigerians voting for him because they believed he was one of the "people" chosen by God to eradicate corruption and lead Nigeria to the promised in land, in 2015, that Messiah was Buhari. I should state that GEJ wasn't directly accused of corruption, it was the people around him (his wife PEJ, Allison Maduekwe, Stella Oduah) and events (Fuel subsidy, Boko Haram) that contributed to his election loss. This is exactly what is happening to Buhari, the people around him(SSG, NIA chairman, Maina) and Herdsmen, Fuel scarcity, (his supporters had told the masses PMS would be N45) that would be his downfall. It is also important to note that the difference between GEJ and MB was about 2 million. The North which is MB stronghold recorded greater than 70% voter turnout while the Southeast and South South recorded about 30% or less. MB also won the Southwest by 55% to 45 for GEJ. Based on this (2014) data, if the Southeast and South South get their act together, MB will lose the election. He's definitely not winning the Southwest and Benue State. People who fail to learn from history repeat the mistakes of the past. The PDP taunted APC, claimed the APC only won on social media but we know how the election turned out. When APC was using Boko Haram to campaign, the PDP ignored it now, 2013's Boko Haram is 2018's Fulani herdsmen and the APC is following the PDP's play book. You can go through the 2013 threads on here and you'll see the similarities between then and now. Note: Election data used is not 100% accurate and I couldn't be arsed to find the 2014 data. The reps are ignorant. Of what use is the National theatre to Nigerians? |
Youngzedd:This observation is wrong. Schooling abroad means schooling outside your home country. A lot of those guys there are Americans and they schooled in America so they didn't "school abroad". |
Lilimax:If you settle some lecturers, you will pass their course. It's not a must, but it works for some. |

Period! Nuff said. Not a must though or under compulsion but it works for me.
