complaining is not a bad thing. It's the attitude and tone used that may irritate or placate
Its hard to judge tone on social media so the onus is on the organisation to steer the conversation in the right direction.

Plus, why didn't you say Heathrow is being rude to the customer, if Innoson had written that, you hypocrites will cry foul
How the F**k is that an insult?
You need to find yourself a tutor on social media because its obvious you have no clue about what social media marketing entails.
Career › Re: Confused About Contract Job And A Permanent Job by AZeD1(m): 11:12am On Sep 16, 2016
helovesme:
Contract job all the way.

The only down side is that you will miss out on perks such as housing allowance, maternity pay, holiday pay, sick pay, etc except their terms of the contract job is different which I doubt.

Most contract jobs do not come with perks and allowances which is why it's important you negotiate as best as you can for a very high pay.

No job is secured - both permanent and contract. A person could be a permanent staff and suddenly he is penned down for redundancy. Same with contract roles - you could get a call informing you that the contract is about to end. This is why you should go for the role that pays the highest.

If you are good at what you do and you've built a professional network, you shouldn't struggle to move jobs. So if this role ends, you should easily get another job.
I am with you all the way.
What are the terms for cancellation of the contract?

Besides i believe after 18 months, one should start planning their exit from a company.

The 6M job all the way for me.

No you use your brain. Brands have been destroyed on social media before, not the first time.
And coming from a government aide, it carries a lot of weight.
A complaint on Twitter can't destroy a brand.

A brands response to the complaint will.
At this stage, it's clear you do not understand the power of social media, it's also clear that you have no idea of marketing and I can't help you with that.

There are lots of example of how brands used complaints on social media to their advantage. A simple Google search would help you.

Now, If I were Innoson I will be thanking Dr Abah for once again bringing us more into limelight, promoting our product.

SnowJay92:
See how you reason?

Firstly, the guy that called out slot on here is a very different case. The was sold a fake, he had already gone back to complain and the staff in that branch of slot connived to treat him like a nobody. Do you realize how different that is?

The man did not even mention innoson's handle since that was his best way, he just made a careless statement to discourage future buyers, how do we grow the naira if we keep dispiriting our own brands.

Look, I know I can't compare Thai rice with anambra rice, would that make me to come on twitter to rant "is this the rice they're making noise about"? The Aba made shoe I bought last week, the sole is already parting because I went to a swampy area with it just once o, so I should go to twitter and tell people that locally made shoes are rubbish?

Have you ever seen anybody that announces to the public that his mother is a lousy cook? Even if she is??
Only people like you think complaining about a brand on social media is a bad thing. Most of the folks who responded were surprised that the car went for 2.5 years without issues. Please tell me how that is a bad thing.

Like I said earlier marketing 101: any publicity is good publicity.

I'm pretty sure after yesterday, the number of Innoson followers increased.

Publicly, on a social media platform? Did he buy the car from twitter? How about simply giving the company a call to make the complaint clandestinely? Look at the way he passed his "subliminal" message, that's pure mockery of the product and the country at large. Why should a Ghanaian buy innoson SUV after reading that tweet from a Nigerian official?
Give the company a call?
Dude this is 2016 social media rules any organisation that doesn't have a social media presence today is not a serious one. FFS even Presidents have a social media account.

A Ghanaian would buy Innoson because chances are
1) Social media is the 1st place some would ever hear of the name
2) He/She knows that if there's a problem, they can reach out to Innoson via social media and get help.

In business you take all sorts of bullcraps to get thru the ranks, Innoson understands this, it's not about right or wrong. I still maintain that the Abah man is not fit to be a Nigerian government official, car that he didn't even buy with his own money, why try to publicly ridicule a Nigerian product, at a point when the government you belong with is telling Nigerians to patronize home made products.
How does complaining about a faulty product equal trying to ridicule the product?

A simple please send us your number and a sales rep would contact would have been a far better reply.

Anioma people have different experiences. Some people from my family have no problem with being called Igbo while some detest it.

As for those claiming it's the Yorubas's and Fulani's causing this division, all I can say is keep your ignorance to yourself.
Most of the Anioma's who don't like being called Igbos have stories to tell about the SE people reminding them of their origin.

After reading the comments here, it's clear that as a country we are in trouble as a nation most especially when young people are ignorant about social media.

1) Any publicity is good publicity. Because of this man's tweet, someone has gotten to know of Innoson for the first time.
2) Social media is the official customer service of any serious organisation. You need a smart person handling that account. The Innoson guy is a learner.

InyinyaAgbaOku:
How is he a learner by asking him to complain at their site?
Are technical problems solved on twitter? I too can bring you examples of how logical people make complaints by using company websites?
How come people who were using the same Innoson for years never complained of this?

like I asked, why didn't your colleague go to Twitter, You claimed he complained in the office, so, why didn't Joe abah complain in his office or go to the website or is that not what it's for?
This is 2016 and social media is the official customer care service of all serious companies....
You don't have to like it but it's a fact. Lots of companies have used complaints on social media to their advantage.

Innoson should better hire someone who knows the value of social media.

Nkem4040:
Dr. Joe Abah or whatever your name is...you are shameless. I suspect he's been paid to tarnish Innoson image to prevent the call for federal government to use made in Nigeria cars only in order to grow the economy. Every car manufacturer be it BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Toyota, e.t.c; invariably, you will have hundreds of customers out of 200 million customers with overheating and other problems within days of use. That is why cars are recalled every yr by manufacturers.

It's not something to panic or rant on twitter to tarnish their image; simply call them up and tell them this is what is happening, and 99.9% percent of the time, they will fix it for free and even offer you free future service. Quality control is there to prevent issues like but it's not always foolproof; but still very realistic otherwise 50% or more new cars will have issues within days of use. I once bought a brand new Hyundai car for my wife, guess what? Within 24 hrs, it was overheating, smoking steam smoke from the radiator. I took it back to the dealer; guess what? A clamp on one of the radiator hoses was loose, and they fix it within 10mins and offered me a yr free worth of oil change...here in Nigeria. How that could have happened to a brand new car was strange to me at the time but then again QUALITY CONTROL IS NOT FOOLPROOF!
The guy just did free advert for Innoson....After 2 and half years with no issue?
