christinie: I definitely wouldn't wanna be in Tinubu's shoes as regards to helping APC win the presidential election. You helped a daft party to win an election and you think it is an achievement? . If APC is a daft party then Tinubu's is a "super" genius. Try selling "something daft" then you'd understand... |

ElCule: power worse under Buhari fuel scarcity worse under Buhari. Doller rises to all time high under Buhari. Price of comodities keep rising by the day under Buahri. More people lost their jobs under Buahri than Jonathna. People like you will always pretend not to feel the heat. The Yam that is planted today is not what is eaten today. If GEJ had done what he was supposed to do, we wouldn't be in this situation. |

Sctests: Thieves and looters deceiving Nigerians with the 'I am saint facade". 1) Madam do you source dollars to pay Zahra's School fees or not while the common man can't afford it? A friend who is a student here in Australia have been thrown out of his house as his parents in Nigeria can no longer afford his school fees I now have to accomodate him but you and other corrupt politicians close to APC government can still afford it at the expense of poor Aisha doesn't have to go to the CBN for school fees because the country takes care of that by virtue of Zahra being the daughter of the President. PS: Anybody can apply for school fees from the CBN through their bank. |

Dollyak: How does his personality/reputation detract from the real issues? Are his point valid or not because if it is then I would rather it is the main point of discussion. Going by your logic, most Nigerians (probably you) aren't qualified to discuss Nigeria issues. You can't be stealing while preaching against stealing. And no his points are not valid. You can't judge the people based on the actions of a few. |
Politics › Re: Events In This Country Have Justified That Nigeria Is Indeed A Zoo (A Must Read) by AZeD1(m): 12:09pm On Mar 24, 2016 |
Dollyak: It's unfortunate to see many people abusing the Op without offering a rebuttal. These are strong valid points and the response from the usual suspects and majority of the posters are bewildering. Play the game and not the man seems so lost in many people here. Isn't the recent disregard for orders by these administration a cause for concern? Regardless of the intention I must add.
Nigeria is definitely on a long downward spiral and I would advise any intelligent fellow to get out before it sinks.
The best way to determine the future of the country is to look at the attitude of her citizens. In this case, based on what I am seeing, Nigeria won't get better any time soon. Nobody is offering any rebuttal because people like the OP are the reason why the country is the way it is. |

If it is Military Board or CBN Board then they are in trouble, by saying that they will most likely lose the offer because the new employer will cite divided attention as the reason not to hire the fellow
The list is endless if Buhari and his team want to replace youwin they should replace it with something better not this chains. The loan is for people who want to start their own business. If you want to apply for job, then do it. Stop complaining, there's nothing like free food. |

Politics › Re: Ayade Moves To Ensure 24-hour Power Supply In Calabar by AZeD1(m): 11:40am On Mar 23, 2016 |
Mayflowa: Unfortunately, our supposedly abundant gas has been the bane of power generation in this country. As you said, gas turbine is easier and cheaper to start, however, it is not the first choice of power generation for a city.
Steam power and hydro power are! These are used for base load while gas turbine are switched on during peak demand. Do you know why is this?
Gas turbine plant has limit to Megawatt generation while the other two can go into thousands of Megawatts.
Again, you can get 24 hours from solar generator. There are battery storage during reduced light. If oyibo with no sun can power for 24 hours talk less us. This is a good source of energy for the North. Note, I am not referring to those quack solar street projects! Those are rip off. Where did you get that from? |
Politics › Re: OPINION WANTED: children of politicians should attend PRIVATE or PUBLC Schools? by AZeD1(m): 11:32am On Mar 23, 2016 |
PSolutionsNG: @Bluezy13 - the survey is actually to know if:
1. Should there be a law that makes children of "serving" politicians attend only public schools? - and not private schools or foreign schools. The law can't fly. The children have the right to attend schools of their choice. Do you agree that employers should dictate which school their employees children attend? |

This is also an offence under corrupt practice.”

dlox147: Simple Definition of illicit. : not allowed by law. Even though both stealing and corruption are not allowed by law, there is a distinction between them. And that is basis of this argument. What about the second part enrichment? Is the word just there for decoration? |
