^^^Who told you I believe in the nonsense about pseudo-progressives you lot tout everywhere in Nigeria? Well, I'm a Liberal with cultural conservatism leaning - you may call it Liberal Conservatism.

And how does someone marrying four wives and having nine children affects your life? The last time I checked, Nigeria isn't a welfare state. Most of your just spew tosh without understanding what the heck you're talking about. undecided undecided
It really does affect not only our lives as Nigerians but Africa as a whole and even the World. You're an exposed guy so you should know what the chain reaction will lead to. Its already widespread in the Nigeria.....Almajiris and Violent, idle criminals that morphed into Boko-Haram....

They are unable to care for their families but still keep giving birth like rats. The Children become a burden on the society when they resort to crime. Population growth is slowing down on other continents but Africa's increasing despite out economic and social situation there-by adding a burden on the already stressed system.

Marrying/Sex with kids is wrong. END OF STORY!!! Because some people engage in it doesn't make it right.

I can imagine them getting hard-on's as the bill is being passed thinking of 10/12 year old girls......Filthy perverts. If Islam permits and justifies this, it can never be the true Religion.

With the way they kill and marry kids in the name of their religion, its almost as if they have no moral sense of judgement.

Sincere 9gerian: I always try to give kudos where it is do. Even though the HYPOCRISY and inexplicable hatefulness of the 'Eko oni ba je' crew sometimes make we want to hold back such commendation.

Honesty, the 'Eko oni ba je', while trying to promote the ACN brand, have ironically done so much DAMAGE to the ACN through their actions and inactions on the social media. Before I became actively involved in the social media, I was all for the ACN, especially during the days of OBJ and Yar Adua when INEC was used to deal with the party unjustly. I jubilated over all the landmark judicial judgments that restored the ACN mandates.

But since I became actively involved in the social media, my perception of the ACN has since changed no thanks to the hypocrisy, hateful bigotry, inexplicable hatefulness and primitive tribalistic tendencies of the 'Eko oni ba je' crew. My response to that was to port immediately. Some others have either ported, withdrawn to remain neutral or fought back using the same approach of the 'Eko oni ba je' crew. I wish the 'Eko oni ba je' crew could have a rethink and change of strategy
Ok, I finally understand why you always come out "guns blazing".

Eko Ile: He careless about all that and even the thread itself, he's trolling and trying to derail the thread so why feed the troll?

Please ignore him...
I was trying to feed him knowledge to save him from his ignorance. The more he wallows in it, the more it holds him back in life.

Sincere 9gerian: This is a commendable project
This is refreshing coming from you, a balanced sense of judgement reflects maturity. I would really love to see more of the other Governors doing such in their respective States.

That Mega Hospital G.E.J is constructing in Bayelsa State should be duplicated in at least 2 other regional locations in Nigeria and i bet people will agree that something major is being done on health-care in this Country.

I know this building, I drive past it evryday. Its bigger than what the photographer captured here....

Fashola delayed its opening because he didn't like the previous doors installed and prefered it with Card opening security doors, security cameras.....a more integrated security system.

Fashola is by far the "BEST" Governor in Nigeria. All these state organizations will also provide employment so its more than infrastructural development.

Politics › Re: Nigeria Backs Rail To Boost Economic Growth by ba7man(m): 7:54am On Jul 19, 2013
There's no need for arguements. Rail and power is one of they major ways of opening up a Country's economy. The USA's East-West Railway line is what opened up the whole country by connecting the East-Coast to the West-Coast.....Resulting in the development of every city it passed through on its way. All that didn't happen in 5years.

We can't achieve high speed rail all of a sudden. We have to work with what's on ground first and we can then develop it further.

The revival of the Nigerian Railway system is still in its infancy and we can only pray the Govt continues to work in it....rather than get comfortable and relax thinking "Hey, the trains are running at least".

Also, there's no basis of comparism between the BRT and Nigerian Rail. One is Intra-City, the Other is Inter-State.......And those buses aren't Molues, Rickety ones have been pulled out of service to the maintainance yard in Ojota. You can go see them there.

Politics › Re: What Soyinka Said by ba7man(m): 7:53am On Jul 18, 2013
The question is....."Is Wole Soyinka telling the truth or not with what he said". Read it, meditate on it and give yourselves the answer with good reasons.

Damn!! There are a lot of mentally challenged individuals in the Country.
Politics › Re: Abacha's Daughter Lash-Out At Wole Soyinka On Twitter by ba7man(m): 6:42am On Jul 18, 2013
I now know why this Country is backwards.....Its not the leaders, its a large population of ignorant citizens within it that are the cause.

Just look at the comments made on this forum and the primitive moral justifications, I guess that's why they say...."Common Sense is not common".
Politics › Re: Abacha's Daughter Lash-Out At Wole Soyinka On Twitter by ba7man(m): 6:30am On Jul 18, 2013
Just look at the quality of people insulting Wole Soyinka.

(1) Daughter of a looting and murdering dictator that died in the arms of prostitutes.

(2) A first lady best known for grammatical errors of epic propotions, No social graces and causing agony to residents in any Nigerian City she visits.

A sensible Nation will never take them both serious. By the way, someone should prove Wole Soyinka lied with what he said.

All people against him just say is "He insulted someones wife( A wife that obviously makes a fhool of herself). List out what he said and ask yourselves if he's right or not.
Politics › Re: Bauchi airport Nigeria's Newest Airport Almost Ready For Operation.(Pictures) by ba7man(m): 9:52pm On Jul 17, 2013
What percentage of the population of Nigeria can afford to travel by air? I believe the Northern Governors should build cargo Airports instead to aid the transportation of goods and cash crops to and fro effectively.

@topic very good development...just imagine how this will reduce the cost of transporting goods which will in effect lead to lower market prices for consumers...SLOW and STEADY TRANSFORMATION noni....
Thanks sir. I'm not a big fan of G.E.J but he definitely has made some strides in certain areas of this Country.

This Rail might be a single move but its positive chain reactions will be massive. Makes you wonder what past leaders were thinking.

solomon111: So amaechi who is widely known to be looter is now innocent, just because he is serving APC interests.
Na wa.
Of course, we all know that they're all thieves. APC, PDP, CPC...etc. But isolating Amaechi out of the numerous thieves because he no longer shares their interest is not the way forward in fighting corruption.

If you probe the people prosecuting him too, you'll find they have their own skeletons.

tomakint: Dr Frederick Fasheun has a point for doing what he did purely on his personal belief however I still see these two as useful instruments in the hands of Jonathan towards 2015 cool
Why release a murderer, try to align with a pedophile and pardon a looting criminal all to play politics of re-election??

If he provides only stable electricity, watch how Nigerians from all parties will fall over themselves to praise and vote for him.

All these primitive Political moves in year 2013.
Politics › Re: Looting Of Rivers State By A Former Homeless Politician…amaechi Net Worth $13.8m by ba7man(m): 3:18am On Jul 17, 2013
Naija Standard: @Idnoble: Thank you. This is our problem as Nigerians: we get easily carried away by emotions, without painstakingly perusing the facts. This present story is a result of series of undercover investigations which lasted for 90 days by our American Editor, Special Investigations, Group Political Editor(Nigeria) and Editor, Special Investigations (Nigeria). We stand by this story because every detailed information published are facts. If still in doubt, listen to our LIVE Radio Broadcast from United States (Naija Standard Afrika Radio USA) where political actors in this 'shameful' debacle expressed their minds under the theme: GOV ROTIMI AMAECHI FIGHTS FIERCEST POLITICAL BATTLE OF HIS LIFE. To listen, kindly click now:http://www.spreaker.com/user/naijaradio/naija_standard_afrika_radio_jingle
Be thanking him for sharing your ignorance. Accusing people of being "The Problem" and not "perusing" when its really you that's guilty of both.

Oya, follow "YOUR OWN" link, come back and tell us what you saw there....Nonsense.

So Amaechi is one of the richest men in the world now?? That bogus figure you put up there can only be possible if he sits on all of the State's monthly allocation without releasing any to run the State or pay anyone so you see i don't need to do any investigation to know your info is dud.

There are logical people on this forum so don't post crap based on half baked investigation.

The amout you put up is approximately the amount the whole Rivers State has received as allocation for the past 2 years.

Politics › Re: Soyinka's Folly by ba7man(m): 6:46pm On Jul 16, 2013
The question we should be asking is.....

(1) Did Wole Soyinka lie with what he said?? If "YES", list out the lies for all to see.

(2) If "NO", why must he not speak the truth?? Give reasons.

The fact that P.E.J is G.E.J's wife gives her no right to do as she likes without expecting a backlash.

She is part of the stains on G.E.J.
