The @O.P should have simply used...."Lekki Duplex".....Its the Bloggers, they like exaggerating news to attract views. |
The view of that car isn't bad at all.... ![]() |
Hmmm...Maybe Femi Falana and Wole Soyinka plan to use the Rivers State crisis as distractions so that they can illegally get stakes in an "Oil field". If i had to Choose between an internationally aclaimed literature professor with exposure, also has a history for standing up to opressive regimes and a Human-right activist/Lawyer........and Gun carrying and shooting, blowing up pipelines, kidnapping, millitants living in a creek...........I know who has more brain power in the equation and who I'll stand with. |
This action is not about cleanliness...Its about improving our environment's appearance. If everyone should Paint their houses, clean their environment and "Stop hanging clothes out in public glare, it would greatly reduce that "Ghetto look" Lagos has. Those saying "Lagos has more pressing issues", who told you they're not being attended to?? We should not excuse the short commings of "The Poor" all because of the excuse that "They're poor". We shouldn't encourage them deface the environment, build shanties and trade on just any street because "they're poor". |
Some people have to die for corruption to end in Nigeria. |
Clothes hanging out in front of buildings have this way of contributing to the "Ghetto" look of the building. Its not aesthetically pleasing. |
Funny enough, you're likely to get violent and act unruly when you take alcohol.....With marijuana, u'll just walk around in a dream like state with a smile on your face. |
Oh my God!!! I just experienced it now. I went to Owode Onirin to buy auto parts, thot i would be in and out in 30mins......Never knew what i had coming. |
Igbo ppl and their palava! Epe never had a single crime, at least not until Igbo migrated there. Now the sons of Epe are keeping bad company and copying bad habits and criminality from igbos. What are we to do now, hehn?
Na wa for you ooo....You still found a way to blame the Igbos for this crime. |
mgbeketoto: I am MADLY-DEEPLY-TRULY sorry for your loss . . . . . Of COMMON SENSE!Prove me wrong or shut-up. |
mgbeketoto: Amen!!!!!At least if a Christian Ped0phile is caught by a Christian society, he is punished while Islam legalizes ped0phillia. Islam encourages giving out of children as if they're "properties". They are not....they are "Children" and if the Religion is truely about love, they should realize that Children need parental love and care till they're "Mentally" mature to deal with marriage. Islam only talks about "Physical" Maturity.......another proof that the girl child is seen as an object. They don't care how the girl Child feels about their actions of forced marriage. To them, marriage and sex with Children is right. Ped0philes now have a Religion that will permit and protect their perverse acts. I wonder the number of ped0philes currently hiding under the cover of Islam. Filthy perverts.

This Asari Dokubo should shut-up already!!!....I blame G.E.J for giving people like this the opportunity to be able to voice trash. What exactly is his use in the first place?? |
Something for Senator Yerima to daydream about.....
|
Just incase they do visit NL, I'll leave them a message below...

This particular Design of the BENTLEY SUV polarized opinions on its looks. A lot of people didn't like its design. They tried to copy Range Rovers tall glass house, upright stance and boxish shape but it didn't suit the BENTLEY Design I'v seen this rendering below on what its supposed to look like now.

xtremely9ja: The dude is sick and his absurd defense of his actions, more disturbing is the fact that he was bold enough to say if the constitution of Nigeria do not support him he chooses the Quran over the constitution (a serving senator)!!!!If i was present when he made that statement, I would have told him..... "Yeah, whatever floats your boat senator but just keep your hands off kids, simple". |
abohrandy: because say the word sound nice in the mouth, dont use it u cant spell!! its BEAMER and not BIMMER!! !!!You may know the Name.....but Doyin Okukpe owns the car. *With thick Igbo accent* |

Step by step, Lagos State is leaving the rest behind. |
Sincere 9gerian: There's no justification for the atrocious act of deporting Nigerians in Nigeria. Its not about party or tribe. It is evil and satanic to deport Nigerians in their own country. No matter the menace you claim beggars have constituted in Lagos, Fashola should look for CREATIVE ways of solving the problem. If the beggars are doing illegal business, then Fashola also embarked on an illegal act of deportation of Nigerians in Nigeria.Your solution might attend to this menace of beggers but its not as easy to acomplish as it seems on paper. It also won't be fair on LASG when one region is responsible for amputating its citizens while another region will be responsible for taking care of them. |
Houses owned by the wise men from the East.
You believe those lies your brothers and uncles told you that "They own Lagos"??Those guys saved all year in Lagos to oppress you guys in the the east. Some even hire cars to deceive you all. Don't belive the hype. |
If Fashola left beggers free and he didn't toll the Ikoyi link bridge, i can see it becoming the hottest begging spot in Nigeria. They'll gladly cause a hold-up in order to beg the residents of that area.
|
@Sincere 9gerian. You don't seem to realize that street begging is Big business in Lagos. The way Prostitutes have pimps they "deliver" to at the end of the day, same with these beggers. These "Business men" select the "choice" ones (with rotting flesh, mangled arms, legs or both, deformations in order to arouse sympathy from the public) and bring them into Lagos with trucks (You now know why they all seem to be mostly deformed). Over the years, Previous administrations have ignored this till we suddenly realized we're swamped with beggers. Every corner, bustop, road medians, front of corporate buildings, roaming the streets.....begging. Some started getting creative by destroying roads so that traffic hold ups would occur while others got aggressive and they slept everywhere in the open, had sex, gave birth to kids and raised them in the open. They had turned into a social menace and eye-sore. Enugu is probably peaceful and you don't have this "Beggers" problem so you can't be fully aware on how bad its become. I was in a car with a visiting white man once and on spotting him, the beggers numbering about 9-10 came over to the car.....Waving their Deformed limbs and sores right in his face. He was petrified with shock and as we sped off, he mumbled to himself "Oh my God, they're so many". That's one of my Most embarrassing days as a Nigerian. Their actions has long reached its tipping point and "diminishing returns" has set-in for them. They need to know that its no longer "business as usual". |
tomakint: ....I am sure u know Nigeria is not politically structured like u suggested here! Its changing as we speak. G.E.J won fair nd square because he was able to whip up enough sentiment from the average Nigerian that were already tired of the political structure that's gradually going into extinction. The people's voices have started to count and as much as I'm not a big fan of G.E.J, if the opposition don't present a candidate (Regardless of tribe) that can match him.....People will vote for him again and he'll win it. An Igbo president in 2019 ought to have started his ground-work by now. |
Some people can sabi fall hand... |
Hey, we're in the 21st Century....Advanced Nations are developing alternate sources of fuel, cure for A.I.D.S, Unprecedented technological advancement.....while we're here talking...."Igbo must rule b'cos Hausa and Yoruba have ruled". Present a formidable candidate and let him convince the larger populace of this country of his intentions. I'm sure he'll get in. But voting based on Tribe is now sooo 20th century....Backwards. |
That's what happens when the larger part of the Nigerian population that own cable TV watch "Africa Magic" rather than educate themselves with "Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Nat Geo wild" and other educative channels. If wonder why no one was able to identified it immediately. |
Oil this....Oil that.....we're still one of the most underdeveloped countries in the World. We With the 13% derivative receieved by ND states, nothing is still going on there than wide-spread corruption and large scale under-development. The larger percentage is used to fund the Government and their associate's lavish lifestyles. The oil has little or no effect on the larger populace of this Country. |
Tolexander: there is one thing about nigerian police, if they really wanna work, they will perfectly do the work.Money has to exchange hands for their trainning to kick-in. My friend'm mum recovered her stolen can in 3 days+the criminal that stole it after money changed hands. |
Too many structurally deficient buildings constructed during the millitary regime.....To avoid all this causalties, a State-wide structural test should be carried out..... But it would be quite expensive, the authorities that are responsible might use that as an avenue to extort the public and some people will kick against it as "Anti-poor". Which way forward?? |
They have no plans to develop their region, they just want to keep sharing money amongst themselves. |
The smiles on their faces......priceless. Its wonderful he still has reasons to be happy, a wife that loves him, a baby and family that are cool with the way he is. Some people don't have half as much problems as this guy but have committed suicide. |
