Car has many components,transmission is just one of them,if u take care of ur car u wont have serious headache. Imagine Ikenna driving an auto trans car he is not likely to have problem,so also many people.

That is about the cheapest u can get, if u want good quality finishing. Most of them that are good charge between 6k and 8k depending on their location. If u will be given good job at the right time, give him/her a trial.

Mileage of 80 to 90k should be good for that car. 150 k is high, but it is better if well maintained than a dubiously rolled back mileage. Insist on getting the VIN and get the service history. Good luck.

Next time bring ur problems here or go to a good auto shop. My civic was almost gone . They condemned nozzles, valves, fuel pump etc, when the problem was just plug cables.

The problem is timing and cost.
If my papers and driver's licence are still valid why should I stop using them.
To renew an expired papers u spend about 8500. To exchange an old plate with the new one N30000.That means the new plates alone without papers is more than 20000. This no plate should be at most 2000, and should be done when your current papers expire. Then there wont be pressure and people wil not complain. It s up to national assembly to stop this nonsense.

@ping2ping, in addition to what loving.. said, honda is good and smooth but need more attention. I have always abused my honda more than toyota. But do everything reasonably.

What happens if the man was at fault, probably crossing at a wrong place, or not taking cognizance of an oncoming vehicle while the driver was on normal speed. Will u repair the bus if damaged, pick the hospital bills of the other injured drivers at their office etc. I just feel it could be the other way, different from our general perception that commercial bus drivers are reckless.Do ur homework properly b4 u take any step.

I have never heard warranty covers brake or tyres. Your dealer must be doing promo. They are not warranty parts.

Be mindful of a converted car. It s common in avensis. I will suggest a civic 98 to 2000 or corrolla 98 to 01 if u dont mind th size. The civic is better than camry 98 to 01 with far less fuel consumption, interior and handling. I like toyota but I will pick any of those civics before camry. I have a civic and 01 camry. I also had 99 camry v6 before.

Some Niger used cars are good and even better than tokunbo. All my former Niger used cars are better than toks. I always take my time while shopping for cars locally. No regrets so far. My next cars will be Niger used. I bought 99 Camry toks @ 900 and spent over 200k on it withintwo months and later sold it 800k after 6 months. I later got 01 camry @ 750, on which i have not spent 10K for almost a year fuelling apart.
If u go toks, keep @ least 100k for Tyre.Reg.Battery etc

Vento is good and easy to maintain. I ve used 3 golfs. Golf 2 Syncro 4WD and 2 MK3. All cars need good maintenance including VW. It is not the best in fuel consumptn but it is good wrt to its engine capacity. All cars can 'expire' even prematurely if not well maintained.
You will enjoy it but service regularly and dont postpone repairs. likely fults include: oil switch, roof ulphostry. Dont go looking for low milage, most 96 cars are over 150k km. I prefer 1.8 litre.
