adewa1980: I will appreciate if the gurus in the house can advise me on this matter. I have two children with a man who i do not currently live with but have plans to marry in September.Due to the way the points are dropping, i am hoping to get an ITA in a few weeks time. This is my question: Should i claim to be single and then update my status with IRCC after the wedding? (bearing in mind im single until legally married in September). Also, would this affect my points in any way? I will appreciate honest resoonse... Thanks Since you are single now you shd apply as single with children. you can then update cic after your marriage |

iyaayo1234: Good day all,
Please i need your help and genuine opinion. I used an agent for my EE application.I got a request sometime ago from IRCC for last 6 months statement of account and I told my agent that I don't have it because I resigned after submitting the application last year and gave just a declaration for that and my agent told me not to worry as he has it under control. This is the mail my agent sent to me from IRCC last week below.
I need your candid advice as I cannot tell IRCC that my agent used a false document on my behalf which will lead to outright councellation.
WHAT CAN I DO as I plan to 1st withdraw it from the agent: This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada as a member of the provincial nominee class. I have reviewed your application and all of the documents you submitted in support of it. It appears that you may not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada. Subsection 11(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) provides that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or any other document required by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. The visa or document shall be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of the Act. I have reasonable grounds to believe that you have not fulfilled the requirement put upon you by subsection 16(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, which states: 16(1) A person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence and documents that the officer reasonably requires. Specifically, I have concerns that the Diamond Bank statements which you have provided in support of your application and which have been verified as altered by the issuing authority are fraudulent. Further these bank statements were the only objective evidence of your work experience, and as such you have provided no objective evidence that you have the work experience claimed. Section 40(1) IRPA states that: A permanent resident or foreign national is inadmissible for misrepresentation (a) for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act. Please note that if a senior immigration officer finds that the misrepresentation is material to your application for a permanent resident visa you could be found to be inadmissible under ection 40(1)(a) of the IRPA. A finding of such inadmissibility would render you inadmissible to Canada for a period of five years according to paragraph 40(2)(a) which states: ‘the permanent resident or the foreign national continues to be inadmissible for misrepresentation for a period of five years following, in the case of a determination outside Canada, a final determination of inadmissibility under subsection (1) or, in the case of determination in Canada, the date the removal order is enforced.’ I would like to provide you with the opportunity to respond to this information. You will have 30 days from the date of this letter to make any representations in this regard. If you do not respond to this request within 30 days (by 2017/07/09), your application will be assessed based on the information currently on file and may result in the refusal of your application. Please note: All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable. The above information/documents must be received in your MyCIC account by the date stated above. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application. It seems your agent falsified records to show payment of salary in the bank statement. this made them doubt your work experience. u need to prove your employment with employment letter and reference letter |

MostBlessed: Hi Triv, Thanks for your prompt reply. I am also interested in getting them, but I think it is not possible to order from Nigeria. I think it is only available to people in canada. We will need to have a Canadian contact, and also fill a consent form for the contact to be granted access to apply on our behalf . The wait period is really unbearable& having no clue as to why ... .. OMG!! I think you can also request from some other sites. There's a thread on canadavisa on gcms notes |

My husband is the primary applicant, He's a medical doctor, he practised for a year and he presently works in a Health management organisation (HMO), is it possible to combine the two work experience, to claim points for 3years or just stick with the one year Hospital experience? depends on his role in the HMO. If he works in a clinic in the HMO then you can combine it. there's also a job title named managers in healthcare. He could check if his job duties qualify under. |

MzWalls: Good Afternoon Everyone.
I've been a silent follower. I have learnt so much from this thread. Thanks to the founders and contributors.
I intend entering the pool by July/August. I recently sent credentials to WES. I should have 427 points. But with regards to POF, a family friend has offered to give me the money as a loan (I currently have just what i need fir all the processing) and i pay back from Canada.
Please, how do i go about it? I can only get the funds after ITA. Thus, it wouldn't have spent 6 months in ny account and there would be a sudden surge in my account balance.
Any ideas/suggestions on how i can make it work would be appreciated.
Thank you. Get a declaration letter from a close relative stating the money is a gift, mention his source of income. you can use the person's letter head. attach statement of account showing the transfer from the person to your account. Adding your sponsors 6months statement of account will be helpful if the sponsor is not transfering from a business account. |

veleta: Good day everyone, please on this POF issue,an applicant has 1.1m,then intends to use 2M from his Mum as gift deed to augment his POF, can he also attach his Stock's Statement of Account worth 1.2M as part his POF? He is a single applicant. He has some plots of land he bought some years ago but the land is not registered so it's only receipts that he has and not Deed of Assignment.Won't it be difficult to sell as mere receipt won't suffice as evidence of sale. Thanks for your prompt response He can get a declaration letter from his mum with her letterhead if she has a business stating the funds is a gift from her. She can explain the source of her funds. Also attach a statement of account showing transfer from her account. That's what I did and my application has been progressing. I also validated this on canadavisa forum. I see no reason for someone waiting for 6 months to submit the application. What if the scores go up. Except you prepare in advance. I believe the gift option can work fine for single applicants getting a gift from a close relative and showing source of funds. Generally having some of the funds in your account helps as well especially for married applicants. |

Onyeenyeh: Good Morning All,
I am new on this thread, and just kick-started my express entry application (I literally feel like I have been sleeping on a bicycle). I have tried to read through the thread, so forgive me, if any of my questions are repetitive.
Brief Summary: Age: 24 Marital Status: Single Highest Educational level: MPH ( Master of Public Health) Experience: I have 3+ years, but will only be claiming 1+, as I am not sure of getting reference letters from other places English Language Proficiency: I am registered to take the IELTS General in the coming month, but from my IELTS Academic, I have a CLB of 9. So hoping to replicate, or even get a CLB of 10, hopefully.
Now to my questions:
1. Is there anyone here who has migrated and works with NGOs or in the area of Health promotion in Canada? What is the outlook like, in terms of how long it took you to land a job? 2. Also, regarding POF, if i understand correctly, I can decide to go with the gift deed option. (a) Can I get a gift deed from my uncle (b) Do I need to wait for six months? 3. I have a three year old cousin who lives with me. Is there any possibility of including him in my application? 4. Between WES and IQAS, which is recommended for evaluation of a foreign degree?
Thank you for taking out time to answer. Hopefully, in the near future, I will be in a position to also answer someone else's questions. As for the gift deed u dnt have to wait for 6months. dont think you can add your cousin to your application. try checking for sponsorship application to know if he qualifies IQAS has been faster of recent |

Wiskolo: Hello House,
I really want to appreciate you for the work done in enlightening people.
Please I need help...
1. I already began a PNP application, but I had to withdraw the process since I subsequently got ITA. Please I need to confirm if they do search if an applicant has applied before on a PNP and confirm the information provided on the PNP with the information submitted for ITA. (Kindly note that the ITA gotten was not through PNP nomination).
2. If i reject ITA gotten and withdraw my profile in a bid to create another, will they cross check the new account with the old profile to see any inconsistency?
The reason for my question is I noticed some inconsistencies in the information uploaded for the PNP account(which was subsequently submitted in the EE pool and was used in getting ITA nomination). I intend correcting this by rejecting the ITA and creating a new profile entirely with the appropriate records.
Thank you for the anticipated help. 1. They wont check information on a withdrawn pnp against your EE profile 2. They wont check your old profile against the new one |

40manlappy: Then you should support it with a letter of explanation (LOE).
If your payslips and bank statements evidencing your salary payments are available, add them too to make your claim more credible.
By the way, is your former employer not willing to provide the reference or you just don't want to ask? He still needs to quote his duties in the letter |

esosa4real: Hi Babachi and itee, i just bumped into ur posts while trying to catch up posts from behind, just to stay updated.....I hope you guys have raised CSE. See you will need to visit canadavisaforum dot com, check the "Reasons for Rejection" thread and you will be suprised at the reasons for rejection. Some are not justified because CIC sometimes doesn't keep to its words, obviously because it's VO dependent.
Please i beg you, if you know you didn't upload a pdf of degree+ECA+IELTS, there is a 99% chance it would be rejected. Pleaseeeee raise a CSE now!

HTC2017: Hello House,
Quick one: can someone source for funds within the first 20 days of the 90 days and keep it in one's account for about 60 days before submitting application? This will be fixed and no deductions be made till PPR. I know two guys whose applications were refused because of POF even though they eventually made the target, lumps sums perhaps were frowned at. Deed of gift, regardless.
