Buhari can rig election anywhere so far he own's INEC, DSS, MILITARY, POLICE etc same script will see him beyond 2019 There was no rigging in Ondo state PDP lost there fair and square. Both Mimiko and Jegede have congratulated Akeredolu on his victory. Please talk based on facts not on sentiments. |

DedeNkem: My assumption that Buhari created the recessive was a bit stretch. Of course, he didn't meet a sound economy (Nigerian economy has been going downhill since Independence). But we can all agree that his incompetence and lack of genuine economic plans sped up the recession. No doubt Buhari has shown a clear lack of competence where the economy is concerned. But unfortunately this is not a marked departure from previous rulers of this country. I say rulers on purpose because in Nigeria we have always had rulers not leaders. Until we as a people decide to change our way of thinking I'm afraid we will continue to be ruled by incompetent people like Buhari going forward. Some confused lots are already shouting Atiku 2019 as if he would be any better. Why don't we look for people who know something about economy and leadership and refuse to vote for anything less than the best for Nigeria? Personally I'm done voting until I find people worth voting for. |

DedeNkem: What was his reason for banning road imports?
Instead of focusing on resolving the recession he created, the id*iot is hell bent in creating more and more problems for ordinary citizens! This st*upid ban is going to make cars more expensive!
No country in the world banned importation of goods via road, except in this useless country which is being led by an outright incompetent and tribalist as*shole! Your bias is stinking. I don't support this particular decision but to blame Buhari for creating the recession is extremely dishonest and you know it or you should. It's very easy to blame any govt you don't like for anything, but facts are still facts. The current recession in Nigeria started in the dying days of the previous administration. |

Aufbauh: There is no gainsaying about it that the utmost desire of most of the Igbos is to see one of their own spearheading the nation top job, thereby dispelling their age long held fears of inherent "Igbophobia" among other Nigerians.
Nnamdi Kanu rightly understood this sentiment amongst the younger generation of Igbos and decided to take advantage of it by his fathom message of Biafra rebirth which was taken to a heinous height in Buhari's administration simply because most of them were against his emergence.
In as much as i would have liked to see one of them rule the country, the senseless opposition and unpatriotic display by some of them is exposing the demon in them thereby creating more suspicion in the mind of some of us who might want to sympathize with their course. Who is the "them" you are referring to? If you think IPOBs represent all Igbos then you are grossly mistaken. The vast majority of South Easterners want nothing to do with Biafra. |

bilulu: Oga mux blame GEJ for all ur failures? wen Nigeria was declared polio free did u mention GEJ? tym for failure u remember u mux blame somebody n it mux not b ur old papa Jonathan deserves a lot of credit for the polio eradication efforts of the FG when he was President. He also deserves criticism for not doing more to contain Boko Haram in his time. His failure with Boko Haram was what allowed polio to thrive in those areas where polio vaccinations did not reach. There is plenty to blame Buhari for, he is by far more socialistic in his thinking than Jonathan was, and that is one of the reasons why he has failed to resolve Nigeria's economic challenges. I have always blamed Jonathan when he deserved it, and Buhari as well when he deserves it. I will continue to do so. |

Mixty: Nobody would have ever imagined that the former NBA chairman, Rotimi Akeredolu would defeat Tinubu's annointed candidate (Segun Abraham) in Ondo state APC primaries. This is someone who openly castigated Tinubu for not keeping to his words.
I have always said it that Tinubu's political influence is overrated.
Does this signal the beginning of the end for the Tinubu's political structure? Is Tinubu gradually becoming irrelevant in the south west and in extension, Nigeria? Tinubu has never been relevant in Ondo and Ekiti. I'm from Ondo and we have never liked him here. Any politician supported by Tinubu cannot win in Ondo or Ekiti state. |
