I am planning going with my family The path to settle in the UK is not easy, upon graduation you would be given two years post study visa, if you want to remain in the UK permanently then you must find a UK employer that will sponsor your continuous stay within the two years. The employer must offer you a qualifying Job Offer to obtain the UK skilled worker visa |

dasparrow: Something is fishy about this so-called deal. Why will Rwanda allow all sorts of so-called refugees into their country? And its not as if they will be returned to their countries of origin. They are supposed to become integrated into the Rwandan society if Britain does not accept them. How is this supposed to work?
These folks that are coming in boats to Britain are not seeking to live in Rwanda. They are seeking to live in Britain. What kinda jobs does Rwanda have for these asylum seekers when they are forcefully sent to Rwanda and then forced to live in Rwanda against their will if their asylum request to live in Britain gets denied? What if these asylum seekers are forced into hard labor in Rwanda against their will?
There is nothing good about this deal if you ask me. Are they also going to be sending middle eastern asylum seekers to Rwanda too so that they will bring terrorism to that country and destabilize it like Nigeria has become destabilized? Let us ask ourselves some critical questions please. God help Africa ooo and help our leaders to make decisions that will not come back to harm us Africans in the future. Hmmm. You lost your will the moment you decide to become an Asylum Seeker, I don't blame the UK government for this move. People can not just come through the backyard and expect to enjoy everything they want. |

KingOfAmebo: "Oga, Why don't you just ask what really happened before displaying your ignorance online, the West that have successfully brainwashed people like you to think Putin is at war with Ukraine, Putin already said this before he advanced into Ukraine that THIS IS A DEMILITARIZATION EXERCISE, Ukraine can never match Russia in a War...they can't survive a week should Russia go on an all out war with them,
If a Demilitarization exersice can course this much damage, imagine what a war with Russia will look like...mined you, Russia's primary target is for USA/NATO to intervain military so they can quickly end old time feud between them once and for all". Too late You people are not even ashamed, I guess most of you thought Russia would have conquered Ukraine by now, but this is 3 weeks and they are still holding on without the support of NATO and the West. BigBashiru: Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Liberia and Gambia are all English speaking. Official language was changed in Rwanda to English. Many of my Kenyan friends in Europe eventually went back to Kenya and all found lucrative jobs. 1 ghana cedis is N50..... this is a great country next door. Cfa franc has similar value to naira.
For vacation so many spots in Nigeria, dar el Salam (Tanzania) and Morocco etc...
My point is many times the good we seek is in our backyard but we don't know.
And I hv to reiterate I'm not trying to persuade ppl from going to America.... I'm just saying we should also give African destinations consideration.
Finally French is easy to learn. We are on the same page, all I'm saying is learning French or Arabic will give more and quick opportunities. It's not easy going to an English speaking African country for employment because you will compete with their Citizens who stand a better chance ahead of you, But if you're Billingual you will be a hot cake in Africa. Nigerians should get off their lazy assess and learn French and Arabic so that they can enjoy Africa. Note: French is not easy but you won't understand until you start learning it. Le langue français n'est pas facile |

BigBashiru: Ur not correct (sorry to say)....the core objective of colonisation was not theft of resources but rather to systematically convince or indoctrinate Africans to think less of themselves and we can see the intergenerational effects of this indoctrination today. Majority of Africans regard Europeans as god.
Simply put Europeans esp French white get those jobs because Africans give it to them even though they not fully qualified but becos deep down they believe the i.e. the Europeans are superior. Guy let's talk reality please, if you can't speak French can you work in Togo, Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, Rwanda, Morocco, Algeria Ivory Coast etc? |
Travel › Re: Living Working and Travelling To African Countries - Share Your Experiences by babakb: 9:00pm On Feb 22, 2022 |
@BigBashiru, What I expect you to discuss here is the employability of Nigerians in other African Countries. Whether we like it or not, the Americans, Europeans and Asians that are securing top jobs in Africa upskilled themselves and out competed us, and we have been very lazy to catch up with them here, we prefer to go to their Countries to take the lesser jobs they rejected As a Nigerian, if you want to be employable across Africa and take up top jobs, you must at the very least: Hold a Bachelors Degree Have a minimum of three years working experience Speak English, French and Arabic Fluently Be Skilled in Data Analysis Have Project Management Skills and Certifications. For STEM professions, have the required license to practice. The non Africans taking up Jobs in Africa came in very prepared, they are not joking. |

Thanks anyways You're welcome, and guess what!!! If you can learn french before moving to France then you will have so many opportunities not just in France but in other Top EU countries like Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg etc, Being Billingual is a big asset in the EU. I'm moving to Togo too in May to perfect my France to advance level, I can only speak basic. Bon Chance |

GoodIsGod: Seems Nairalanders no plenty for France. Well still on the visa processing till I get a response. Your wife told you the truth, there are no jobs for non French Speakers in France except you want to be a mere Construction or farm Labourer, Cleaner or Dish washer etc. Apologies for my harsh words, but that's the reality, if you want to succeed in France you must learn french to C1 Level, but there is a short cut. Got to Togo and enroll in Institut Français, if you're determined, within 3 months you will achieve Intermediate level because you won't see anyone to speak English with in Togo |

If you secure an eligible professional job offer within the 1 year you will obtain 4 years residence permit and after 4 years of professional work in France you will obtain Permanent residence. Please which link did you use to do the actual application, is the Campusfrance portal or the Etude en France.. |

FrenchXpert: Campus France is an organization set up by the French government to aid students through their France study application. They are available in over 150 countries across the world. Here in Nigeria, there are two Campus France offices, in Abuja and Lagos. Very pertinent to note is that you MUST pass through Campus France for any study application to France. They take care of all processes from admission down to obtaining your visa. website: https://www.nigeria.campusfrance.org/
Etudes en France: This is an online portal connected to Campus France where you create an account and have your personal dashboard for all online processes. Campus France is the physical organization; Etudes-en-France is their online platform. website: https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/etudesenfrance/dyn/public/authentification/login.html?codeLangue=EN
The entrance for 2022 began in October and closes 31st December, 2021. Within this period, you make your application to the universities through the portal. A few years back, you could apply directly to schools, now, only a handful of schools permit you to apply directly to their school portal. Applications on school portals are solely reserved for French Nationals and European students.
A great usefulness of Campus France is that they afford you the chance to apply to up to 7 universities with just one application. This increases your chance of being admitted to at least one. They however charge an administration fee of N50,000.
If you managed to get an admission directly from a school, you will have to manually connect your admission to Campus France and pay the same administration fee. @Frenchexpert Please you provided two links here Which one will I use to do the actual application::: |

justwise: You are not making any sense, Crimea and Donbass are part of Ukraine taken over by Russia and you are here trying to rewrite the history.
Russia is currently threatening another invasion of Ukraine, just the fear of US and western reaction is holding Russia back, that is worst than what Boko haram is doing. Basically Ukraine has no power over some part of her country.
No part of Nigeria is taken over by another country, not even Bakassi. Are you serious Is it that you are jealous that Ukraine is better than Nigeria, Do you know that Ukraine Citizens enjoy Visa Free travel to the Sheghen Zone, Do you know that Ukraine has one of the best Medical Studies in the world, Do you know the Number of International students that troop to Ukraine for studies every year, Just mention one area that Nigeria compares to Ukraine, even in sports Ukraine is miles ahead of Nigeria. You keep talking of Russia invasion since 2014, but we haven't heard that hundreds of kids were abducted from secondary schools, we haven't heard of bomb explotions in Markets, Hospitals, Motor parks, Schools etc, nor have we heard of mass killings of villagers just like in Borno, Benue, Katsina, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kaduna, Imo etc, nor high profile assassination of Army generals, politicians, religious leaders. Common man, deep inside you know that Ukraine is miles ahead of Nigeria.. |
