Hello everyone and the gurus in the house. I just discovered this thread and it's super educative, y'all gurus are doing a great job. I have a question please.

I know everyone here is likely planning to travel for schooling, work or legal tourism (visit) I call it legal because you'll be leaving after your speculated time of visit.

Now I want to apply for tourism 6 months Visa and I don't plan to come back ( I understand that after the 6 months expires I'll be an illegal resident in the country which I honestly don't care, I'm just tired of this place that I wouldn't mind.

I would have used the other legal route but I am not qualified, I do not have the funds for school and I do not have the qualifications to work so the only way for me is Tourism.

My question is, is there a possibility of me getting my papers after my 6 months Visa expires, if yes how long should I be looking at waiting before I can start processing the papers, is there a way I can work and maybe take a short course there? Finally I'm I alone on this road�

There is no possibility of getting any papers after your 6 months, you would be living under the radar after that 6 months, you would be caught, deported and banned eventually.

Your only way out is to fall in love with a UK Citizen, both of you will come down to Nigeria and get married and then go back permanently.

But I must remind you that you must live with her for like 3 years at least to prove the genuity of the marriage.

Yes, tuition fees I can get myself but proof of funds for living expenses is the wahala, if you or your sponsor don't show complete tuition fees and living expenses UK will deny you Visa...

uk is only interested in the tuition. If your course or occupation is not in labour shortage. Unlikely to get a job after graduation. After the 2 years permit it will be back to Nigeria. Beware

If I live in the UK for 2 years I ain't coming back to Nigeria

I would have learned me some UK accent, save up some money and move to Mexico, Turkey or South American countries to teach English

The hardest thing in the world right now is immigrating with your family on the go, most of the time you have to go alone first then after like a year your wife and kids can join you, of course you can visit them within the one year waiting period.

Talking about the UK, you best bet is to secure Skilled Worker Visa, I know it's very hard to get but that's your only realistic route, look for an employer that will sponsor you for Skilled worker visa then move with your family.

The 12M is not even enough for you alone to go for Masters in the UK, the people that are telling you that 6M is enough are assuming that you have a relative that will stand as a sponsor for you that has Millions of naira in their account, If you don't have a sponsor, you must show all the required funds in your account which runs over 20M if you plan to move with your family.

We don't know when all program draws are likely to resume but we know Ontario will be doing the next French Speakers Draw in December or January all things being equal considering their current trends. If all program draws resume before then (hopefully not a one off) I will switch back. It's a risk I am willing to take.

proof of funds is 13k pounds if you will study in London and 10k pounds outside London.

that's a minimum of 24k pounds which is equivalent to 14 million naira.

Its better you do your Top Up degree in Nigeria and then look for Masters abroad, Rivers State University (Ignatius Ajuru) admits HND graduates into 400 level, so in 1 year you are done with your BSC.
