The paid urchins are back justifying this government's heartkessness towards the masses.

When it comes to masses, government can't afford it, but when it comes to stealing billions of naira and millions of dollars, Nigeria can afford it. What a double standard! May this same double standard happen to you at the low receiving end.

If this government can not pay, let them give way to someone that can pay.

Evil people, evil supporters and evil promoters of evil and wickedness

It takes only an evil being (definitely not even human) to defend this beast of a government that has crushed every little speck of hope for a better Nigeria.

You are so clueless, you don't know what to do, why force yourself on people? To further make our lives hell? Or to mortgage the nation to the devil as another hellfire?

May the supporters and promoters of this evil government know no peace or anything call happiness till the government leaves!

Guy leave that matter woo. I was aiming for first class with a CGPA above 4/5, I saw F in a course i was sure of acing with over 90% when results were released.

I went everywhere, atlast the lecturer said my exam script was missing that I didn't submit my script. Even the Dean and HOD queries the lecturer on how that is possible when my name was on the attendance sheet. Last last I carried over the course, thank God it wasn't my final year, otherwise it would have being a straigh one year extra for me because it was a second semester course. I carries over the course and scattered it with 97% including two CAs, Practicals and assignments.

So no say it is impossible to be messed up in Nigerian government University just because you are brilliant

Romance / Re: These Fears Are Real At 33 by BabbanBura(m): 8:03am On May 25
Blessedpalms:
These fears are more than real the moment you hit 33. I looked in my mirror and saw my beards, becoming everything I feared.
I have never felt so lonely in a world filled with 7 billon humans. Too much worries

Maybe I should have took that risk, maybe I should have learnt something instead of just focusing on academics. I keep thinking about everything I could have done earlier. Maybe I should have started this 5 years ago at 28. Maybe I should have started that 7 years ago when I was 26.
But it's unfortunate those years are in the past now.

It's my fault, I was optimistic and thought things were going to be better. Government employment, good salary. I'll have a good career and my own family. Maybe a wife and 2 kids.
I just laughed at myself now,
This clown got No kids, no business
maybe that's even a blessing in disguise because how do I feed them?
I have always been afraid not being able to be there for people around me talk less of my kids. These fears are real because I can't even be there for myself.

I am not the type that blames anyone. I feel like life has a way of telling you optimism is weakness and a lie.
Don't get me wrong, Life is kind to many others
And this is where temptations comes, you start to see society and crime from a different perspective.
No one is free from this kinds of temptations

No one is free from this kinds of temptations.
This is why I find it hard to blame call girls and women in clubs acting a stripper. You don't know the kind of struggles that push people to where they are. I have grown and learnt not to make mockery of anyone. Some of them aren't even 33 yet. Alot of things tempt people to Fall. Many people with no real jobs.

Appprehsive about what to eat, appprehsive about health, Appprehsive about neighborhood asking for any fee, apprehensive about Rent, Appprehsive about aged parents. I don't know what tomorrow holds. You tell people to teach you things, they tell you, you're too old.

I am at a point where I am trying not fall. It's emotionally shattering. NO job, no real solid financial backing. It feels like only you in the world. you have to fight and figure it all out.
You think, Plan, write but see, it all feels like a meaningless scribble.

If you you are still 25 or 26 now is the time to do something. Just do something, forget about optimism. Optimism is deceptive.
Do everything not to stumble and fall in the future. Don't be bothered about what people think about what you do. You'll only be respected if you are able to care for yourself and people around you.

You are right Bro. However, double your efforts instead of sulking in regrets, you don't need any negative energy to weigh you down the more

Education / Re: Tinubu Directs Comprehensive Review Of Governing Boards Of Tertiary Institutions by BabbanBura(m): 8:23am On May 24
rotadeco27:

I met recently someone very close to him in my clinic, he said with all sincerity Tinubu intentions to make this nation work. There are whole lots of things we do not know that is why we say most of the things we say. I sincerely regretted campaigning against him in the last election. Nigeria needs sincere leader like him at this point and not a palliator that will be packaging a failing nation to get cheap accolades. The country is undergoing what I termed economic debridements which comes with pains and bledding, but by the time the nation recovers , she will be 1st in Africa as Lagos is always 1st in progress. Some people built America, we must build own nation too.

Has he arrested decay, theft and corrupt practices in government?

Does he follow due process in his government's dealings?

Those he think through before acting?

I don't need to see the end before I know things are not heading in the right direction, what sustainable policies have you seen that will give hope for all you mentioned? Don't tell me about the floating of fx and subsidy removal which were putting the cart before the horse, and we are now back to thesame and even spending much more than ever.

This government is either a scam or clueless, perhaps the later is the case since you said BAT meant well for the country.

Politics / Re: The Satanic Stand Of Mr. Femi Fani-kayode Against God's People Will Soon Yield N by BabbanBura(m): 5:33am On May 24
tolastikha:
In recent times, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode, former aviation minister of Nigeria, has emerged with statements that many perceive as openly antagonistic towards God and His people. His vitriolic rhetoric and blatant disdain for the Christian faith have not gone unnoticed. This article aims to address Mr. Fani-Kayode's antagonism and remind him of the historical consequences faced by those who have dared to oppose God.

Throughout history, individuals who have taken a stand against God and His followers have met with divine retribution. The Bible is replete with stories of such figures who, in their hubris, believed they could defy the Almighty, only to be brought low by His justice. Nebuchadnezzar, King Herod, and others serve as poignant reminders that opposition to God is ultimately futile and self-destructive.

Mr. Fani-Kayode, in his recent tirades, seems to have forgotten these lessons of history. His scornful words towards the Israeli citizens are not only offensive but dangerous, as they set him on a path that many before him have trodden, leading to disgrace and downfall. His current stance is reminiscent of the late president of Iran, whose antagonism towards God's people eventually led to his demise. Like the proverbial cup of iniquity, Mr. Fani-Kayode's persistent actions and words against God and the good people of Israel are reaching their brim.

Christians around the world are vigilant and prayerful, recognizing the importance of standing firm in their faith in the face of such opposition. The global Christian community is not ignorant of Mr. Fani-Kayode's proclamations. They watch and pray, knowing that God hears and responds to the cries of His people. The history of God's dealings with those who blaspheme His name is clear: divine justice will prevail.

It is crucial for Mr. Fani-Kayode to understand that his current trajectory is perilous. His disdain for God and His people will not go unanswered. The scriptures remind us in Galatians 6:7, "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." His actions are sowing seeds of discord working relentlessly to see that Hamas dominate Israel, which will inevitably yield a bitter harvest for plotters of evils.

In conclusion, Mr. Fani-Kayode must reconsider his stance. History is a testament to the fact that those who challenge God do not fare well. His current stand will definitely backfire as it has always been the case for Israeli enemies from history.

See what we are saying? The masters of putting the cart before the horse have done it again.

Why the rush when due process has not being adhered too?

Why? Why? Why?

Imagine all the properties demolished and businesses disrupted for nothing! Are these people cursed? The EIA and stakeholders engagements that are mandatory before any MCP kicks off must have highlighted this issue and avoid this monstrous gaffe, but no, body they scratch them to look, so they can't wait to do the right things before starting this ill-advised, loot-intended, wrongly prioritised project.

Where are the BATerias, come and explain this to us please.

I hope this whole thing is not aimed at disrupting the Landmark business? If they can demolish a house of rep complex just to get to some people, there is nothing these politicians won't do to get to their enemies.

By Mayowa Dorusinmi

The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced its decision to disembark from the proposed Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway realignment.

This was disclosed at the 3rd Stakeholders Meeting in Lagos, where the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, confirmed that the proposed diversion would no longer occur due to the submarine cables along the coastline.

Umahi also announced that the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) would not be available for now, citing Section 15 (b) of the Freedom of Information Act to support the government’s decision to withhold certain information from the press and public.

The Section Umahi cited is the exception of third-party information, which allows government institutions to deny journalists or the public access to information.

Meanwhile, the announcement comes after the telecommunication companies warned the government of the possibility of network outage in the country if the diversion is not reconsidered.

The government has since decided not to proceed with the diversion, which would affect connectivity to the internet in the country and lead to the demolition of ancestral homes in the Okun-Ajah community.

In a video posted by journalist Laila Johnson-Salami, members of the Okun-Ajah community were seen praising the Tinubu-led administration for its decision not to use the route.

Despite previous demolitions that affected the beachfront of private businesses, including LandMark, the government is now considering alternatives to ensure the continuation of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.

Most policemen in the streets are either high on some substances, exceedingly frustrated, or simply unredeemably rotten that you have to apply wisdom when dealing with them. It is safest to comply and follow them to the station, all they want is to obtain you small on the way and free you. He would have gone home to be with his young family instead of going home beyond his young family.

The above notwithstanding, justice needs to be done, of not for anything, for the young widow, the orphan and also so that this loose lunatic can not have the chance to inflict another affliction the second time.

Sad, naija why again!!!
