Romance / Re: Pant Saga by BabbanBura(m): 8:13pm On Jan 29, 2023 |
Pascalsite: While at work this morning, I got a call from my son’s school asking me to come to the school as soon as possible.
“Is Junior alright?” I asked out of curiosity.
“He’s very ok. But you just have to hurry,” the caller advised.
“Can I speak with him please?” I enquired.
“Please calm down sir. The invitation has nothing to do with your son’s health. Rather, it is for identification and collection of some personal items.”
“Alright then. I’m on my way.”
I took permission from my boss and headed to the school.
I kept wondering what I was to identify and collect.
Could it be there is a look alike child in the school who is answering my name that I am to identify and collect just like an item?
There is nothing women cannot do. I have been told repeatedly to fear women, but I would not listen.
So I braced up for the worst scenario as long as my son was alright.
I got to the school and dashed into the head teacher’s office.
I saw my son with another girl of his age in the office.
They both appeared to be fine.
“Good morning Sir and thank you for coming on such a short notice”, the head teacher began.
“What is the problem? What am I to identify? Did her mother say I am the father?” I asked while maintaining my gaze on the little girl.
Understanding how curious I was, the head teacher responded: “No! No! No! No! No! No! She’s not yours please. Nevertheless, is this your son’s school bag?”
“Yes. It belongs to my son. My wife bought it for her and I even have the receipt here in my wallet. Any problem?”
“Please take a look at the contents of this bag and see if you can identify any,” she said as she handed me the bag.
I took the bag from her, unzipped it and behold, I saw clothes.
“What are clothes doing in here?” I asked.
“Check again. They are not just clothes.”
That was when I poured the contents of the bag on the table. Surprisingly, they were my wife’s pants.
I was made to understand that Junior took the pants to the school to proof to his mates that his mother has many pants.
Imagine!
This is all my fault. I have not been checking his bag before and after coming back from school.
Dear parents, always be checking your wards’ bags. You may find something interesting in there.
Even if you may not find anything, it is a way of keeping them checked.
You see those ones in primary and secondary schools?
A wise is enough for the word.
As for Junior, my wife will decide his fate later in the day.

olayiwola4u: These surperhuman records of Bruce Lee still make me ponder on how he came about those records as slim as he was (look at how slim he was in the picture below).
His Superhuman records:
1. He practiced 5,000 punches per day, and he could give 9 punches per second.
2. Even though he weighed 150 pounds, his single punch was about 350 pounds.
3. His leg kicks were too fast for camera that was why slow motion was always needed to show its leg kick in films.
4. He could do 1,500 push ups in a row.
5. He could do 400 push ups with one hand.
6. He could do 100 push ups with just one finger thumb of his hand.
7. At one standpoint, he could jump up to 8 feet.
These are too incredible to be seen in one human body like this Bruce Lee body... He was INDEED a legend.
Which one out of the 7 fascinate you most? It was spectacular watching this guy in Chinese films while growing up, legend indeed! 8 Likes |

nothing is free in Nigeria. back then during our cadaver practicals in medical school, our school paid for the corpses. I think male corpse costs 50k, & females cost 70k. In my school they actually apply for them, the state attorney then approvea unclaimed cadavers older than certain age in storage. Sometimes the legal procedure is reversed when there are too many unclaimed bodies but this is always a very rare occurrence. Bodies are always scarce unlike the likes of the UK and the USA! 2 Likes |

Foreign Affairs / Re: Ongoing Headaches With F-35 Fighter Jets Are Rippling Through The Rest Of The US by BabbanBura(m): 6:58am On Jan 14, 2023 |
rottennaija: Ongoing headaches with F-35 fighter jets are rippling through the rest of the US military's combat aircraft fleet
Years of delays, cost overruns, and technical glitches with the F-35 have put the Pentagon in a dilemma.
If F-35s aren't fit to fly in sufficient numbers, then older aircraft such as the F-16 must be kept in service to fill the gap. In turn, having to extend the lifespan of older planes consumes money that could be used to acquire new aircraft and results in aging warplanes that may not be capable of fulfilling their missions on the current battlefield.
"While service life extension programs are one way to keep current aircraft capable and in operation, they do not guarantee that those aircraft will be available when needed or that they will possess required capabilities to meet future needs," the Government Accountability Office warned in a new report on US tactical aircraft.
The F-35 is meant to be the backbone of the US Air Force, Navy, and Marine fighter fleets, replacing several types of Cold War-era fighters and attack aircraft, including Navy and Marine F/A-18 C/Ds, Marine AV-8Bs, Air Force A-10s, and, most importantly, Air Force F-16s, which are the US's most numerous fighters.

Despite making its first flight in 2006, the F-35 — which costs about $100 million apiece — still hasn't been approved for full-rate production and remains in limited procurement.
The aircraft has been plagued by a seemingly endless series of bugs, including problems with its stealth coating, sustained supersonic flight, helmet-mounted display, excessive vibration from its cannon, and even vulnerability to being hit by lightning.
The military and Lockheed Martin have resolved some of those problems, but the cumulative effect of the delays is that the Air Force has had to shelve plans for the F-35 to replace the F-16, which now will keep flying until the 2040s.
"Over the last decade the Air Force and Navy have funded service life extension programs for F-16s and F/A-18 A-Ds — both originally expected to be replaced by F-35 — to address fatigue of structural components and keep the aircraft capable and in operation," the GAO report said. segtech68: I'm in a very serious relationship which will likely lead to marriage before the middle of this year. she's a good lady, very decent, God fearing and has a good Job. We both love each other so there's no point waiting than to marry her. We've talked about it and she loves the idea. Also , i've met her family and her parent treated me kindly.
The issue is, we are both planning to relocate after marriage to any of the western countries, we are both credible financially and i'm very sure we won't get denied but the stories i've heard about women changing after getting abroad makes me want to think twice about the court marriage. I would love to do every other marital right except court marriage.
How do i tell her politely without losing her? please i'll appreciate your advise.
Thank you. Abroad doesn't recognise any marriage except court wedding and certificate |
