I have been saying that. The way we relate with people, those older than us and those in which we are older than shows the kind of home one comes from and the kind of home training one received. Some that are not even up to 20 years or in their mid-twenties will just sit at the pc and be writing, insulting and posting rubbish to those older than them just because they have the opportunity to use pc. Mr babs787, You accused the Bible (God's Word) of lying by saying and implying that the Bible said contradicted itself by saying (in some places) that Jesus came to save only the Isrealites and also by saying/implying that the Bible also said (in other places) that Jesus came to save the whole world.


Mr babs787, That fact that you are asking these kinds of desperate and false questions and also making these kind of false implications, shows that you are either of the following.
Either that:

1. You are being purely mischevious, and you are therefore desperately looking for something in the bible which you can then say is a contradiction.

or

2. that you read the bible yourself but unfortunately you didn't understand those portions of the bible for one reason or another, and since you didn't

understand it you decided that the only sensible explanation to you, was that it was a contradiction in the bible.

or

3. that you were told by someone else that there was a contradiction there and then you "dogmatically" believed what you were told without trying to find out

the truth.

or

4. that you know the truth about the lies of the quran , mohammed and allah, but you are desperate to find a means of coverup for them and a means of relevance for them. As such one of the ways you try to use to do that is by trying to make the bible or every other person look like a liar.


The truth is that I don't know which of the above options applies to you, nonetheless I thank God, that deep down in your soul, you yourself know that at least one of those things I have listed above applies to you.

About the Matthew 1:21, where you said there was a contradiction, ACTUALLY THERE IS NO CONTRADICTION, kindly follow me as I strive to teach.

First and foremost let us do a little understanding of English 101 before we dwelve back into the scriptures.

Now for the english 101, consider this following example and explanation:

From the above example and relative to the Yoruba man, what does the white man mean by the phrase "his people".

1. "His people" can mean fellow "Black Men" to certain people.

2. "His people" can also mean fellow "Yoruba men" to certain people.

3. "His people" can also mean fellow "Nigerians" to certain people.


If we base our understanding solely on the interpretation of the listener, it becomes difficult to know that actual mean of the phrase "His people" because

the perception and prejudice of the listener influences the interpretation that is given to the phrase "his people". So in other to completely understand the

actual meaning of the statement we need to find a way to elimiminate the listener from the equation so that the influence of the perception, prejudice and

understanding of the listener would not be able to cloud the actual meaning of the statement.


Fortunately, this does not mean we still cannot know what the true meaning of the phrase "His people" is. This is because, once we are able to know and

accurately describe who the speaker (white man) is, it would help us understand what the meaning of his statement is.


Now assume that I had a phrase like this ", a dwarf white man told a Yoruba man, " it becomes easy to want to guess that the white man might have been refering to the Yoruba man being tall, Yet we are still not sure, because nothing in the statement refers to anything about the height of the Yoruba man or about the height of his people . As a matter of fact the dwarf white man might still have been refering to the Yoruba man as either being black or being a Nigerian. So we still need a clearer description of who the white man is and who the Yoruba man is.

However if we had the phrase like this that ", a racist white man told a Yoruba Man, ". We are completely sure that the statement was based on Skin

Color, due to the fact that the white man was qualified as being a "racist".

Therefore merely knowing things like "the character and description of the speaker" and "the character and description of the person being spoken to", makes

it possible for us to completely eliminate the listener and thus make the meaning of the statement to be independent of the listener.

An expanded quotation of scriptures from the Matthew 1:21 that you quoted is:

1. First and foremost an "Angel" via a dream was the one talking to Joseph, about the birth of Jesus, and about what Jesus was going to accomplish.

2. Secondly, I hope and believe you understand that Angels are spirits


3. Thirdly, Jesus was to be born as a Man (Flesh), (This means that Jesus was a man when he was born, unlike the Angel (who was not a man) when he was

giving Joseph the message).


Now that we have understood the description of who an Angel is, and and how Jesus is going to be born, let us consider the phrase where the angel said

", he shall save his people from their sins, ". The word "his" in this context , "means who Jesus related to". Jesus is to be born as "flesh being"

hence is not related to an "Angel" who is a "spirit being". So the phrase "his people" in this context means "the beings to which Jesus is related to when he

is born". (Note that once Jesus is born, He is not related to Angels "Spirit beigns" , but instead he is related to man "flesh beings" i.e. all of mankind).


"HIS PEOPLE" = "ALL OF MANKIND"


So you see contrary to the unfortunate deception or lack of understanding that you were trying to foster, , YOUR FALSE AND WRONG IMPLICATION THAT

JESUS CAME ONLY TO SAVE THE JEWS IS NOT TRUE.

AND I HOPE THAT THE EXPLANATION THAT I HAVE GIVEN ABOVE WOULD MAKE YOU AND EVERY OTHER DECEIVED INDIVIDUAL, TO UNDERSTAND THAT: Mat 1:21 "And she shall

bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." SIMPLY SAYS THAT JESUS SHALL SAVE HIS PEOPLE (ALL OF

MANKIND) FROM THEIR SINS.

THEREFORE IN CONCLUSION MR babs787, I HOPE YOU CAN NOW PLAINLY SEE THAT THERE IS NO CONTRADICTION IN MATTHEW 1:21.

Why should Jesus specifically forbid, on the one hand, preaching the Gospel to the Gentiles Matthew 7:6,15:24,26) and yet on the other, tell the disciples to teach all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost? (Matthew 28:19)

I supplied you verses on that to help you find your bearing and here they are:

John 4v21-22: Jesus said unto her, woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem worship the father, ye worship ye know not what we know. We know we worship, for SALVATION is of the JEWS.

Jesus said that salvation is for the Jews because he came for Jews alone.


Mathew 15v24-26: but he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel……,


Here Jesus said, he was sent to the lost sheep of Israel although there are other countries apart from Israel but was sent only to them.


Mathew 10v5-6: these twelve, Jesus sent them forth and commanded them saying, go not on the way of the gentiles and unto any city of the Samaritans, enter ye not, but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.



Math 19v28: and Jesus said unto them, verily I say unto you, that which have followed me, in the regeneration when the son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, you also shall sit upon twelve thrones judging the twelve tribe of Israel.


Jesus said that he and his disciples will judge the twelve tribes because he was sent only to Israel.


Also from the Holy Quran


Quran 3v49: and (make him) an apostle to the children of Israel….

Quran 43v59: he (Jesus) was naught but a servant on whom we bestowed favour and we made him an example for the children of Israel.


Quran 3v61: but whoever dispute with you in this matter concerning Jesus after what has come to you of knowledge, then say : come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and our near people and your near people, then let us be earnest in prayer, and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars.


So, why did he forbid his disciples from going to gentiles but told them to preach to all nations and please what do you understand by all nations?

Suratur-rahaman makes me cry, how can you deny the mercy of your lord?? Allah favours me so much and I open this surah when I want to reflect on Allah's mercy on me, poor village boy, now a First Class graduate, being jostled for by many companies!!!!!
