Topshow4real: I wonder why topics about Sowore and his presidential ambition are not making front page, just wondering. . .
It wasn't until I saw people, YOUTHS, young vibrant thinking men actually talk down Sowore's presidential aspirations that I knew that Nigerians don't know what they want and most of them just came to dance to the music of Election Games. The number one problem in Nigeria is not even corruption, it's the absence of Check and Balance due to the unnecessary size of the government. Atiku and Buhari don't even talk about it at all, whereas Sowore's campaign clearly mentioned this but no. They keep looking for foolish excuses to not support him. I don't even understand Nigerians o.
pocohantas: Wow, what are his duties? Don't mind me, I can imagine his duties.
There's probably a Special Adviser to the Commissioner of Local Government Affairs and a P.A too.
Diaris.
I get confused when I think of how Nigerians are not talking daily about the crazily high, unnecessary cost of government that now even goes ahead to involve in looting and they(government) don't even do their freaking jobs!
RebelChip: The day the Ocean will come for its land they stole, hope nobody will call Satan? You stole a land from the ocean and expect it not to reclaim it? Thank You!
Nice edifices by the way!
Lol Dubai that went ahead to build a sky scraper on top of water far away from land nko?
shotuns: Well,Sowore could be a good leader, but in Politics experince matters and one of the reason why fomer office holders have better Judgement and are being consulted for advise on crucial matters. 70% isnt enough to lead a country like Nigeria. You need 99. 9% in all . Remember Nigeria is a complex institution.
It's actually not that complex lol. Six geopolitical areas and 200m people, can't be harder than ruling India or China. The truth is that our past and present government made it seem so complex because they're using archaic systems where there aren't check and balances leading to unnecessary high cost of government and the famous looting. Some arms we have in our government are actually very useless but remain since Lord Lugard left it that way lol. Furthermore, I think our former office holders only use their experience to know better loopholes in the government to loot funds. Seriously, whose experience has actually really helped the country??
thesicilian: This is the kind of talk that makes you want to lay down your life for your country.
I truly believe in Sowore. He's not the perfect ruler in terms of political experience but I'm too sure that he'll do 70% of what he says, especially in areas of REALISTICALLY reducing cost of governance. Which is better than whatever Buhari can ever bring to the table.
AliciaSendler: I think, it will be stuppid swap, because Ramsey doesn't fit the Barcelona's style!
How do you mean? I think Ramsey fits Barcelona style perfectly. His ball control, technique and balance is really good added with his vision and short passes, he's just perfect! Especially his TECHNIQUE.
Now, Dembele isn't a good fit at all because he has terrible ball control and he isn't technical enough. Besides Malcom is a better winger than Dembele. Dortmund just took advantage of Barcelona when they made a late request knowing they had to replace Neymar. Dembele shouldn't be more than 50m
P.s Compare their defensive skills, how many goals Ramsey scored to Dembele last season..
What's Barcelona thinking? Arsenal should be offering Ramsey with £20m for Dembele.
I think Barcelona is trying to really bring back tiki taka where Xavi and Iniesta left it. The addition of Arthur, recommended by Xavi shows that, so don't be surprised if Ramsey who has amazing ball control and passes is swapped for Dembele who is about speed and dribbles but terrible ball control. Besides, Dembele isn't that great of a player, really..
flyca: China does not have prenium technologies, not yet. What they do is to go any length, pay any amount in this whole world to grab technological documents from technologically advanced countries in Europe and America. Also can pay exorbitantly to get their staff trained by the owners of the core tech. Then viola!
Give them two years, just two years, they will remodel that technology, retweek it here and there and present to the world a "brand new" technology!
Don't be surprised if these cars have more features and better functionalities that the original models. There is actually nothing wrong with this "copying" technique per say. I understand it as "learning by imitation" which is good because it works for them!
Lemme give a clear instance: Uber came out as just a car hailing service, convey you from point A to B, maybe with GPS services, I don't know. But China copied it and named it "DiDi". Now y'all need to see what DiDi is today! Apart from these basic services, they have gone steps higher to introduce more car-hailing options, very multifunctional, very smart APP, very flexible too.
Kuai che - If you are in a hurry, from point A to B Shunfeng che - You can book ahead, say you wanna leave at 5pm, you can book it hours or even days ahead. VIP che - With this option, you can hail a very touché car, even Hummer Jeep sef - well dressed, kitted up drivers and professional services, for those that value the art of classy arrivals to events. Gongjiao che - If you are going to switch to public bus midway. DaiJia - Let's say you hang out and get drunk, they'll send a driver to take you home in your own car. Self-drive Rental - Self explainatory name right? They've started selling second hand cars too.
Same thing they did with Wechat. With wechat now, no one needs to look for change after a purchase, you can scan or get scanned to pay for anything and everything, you can send your real-time location, shake your phone with someone at the same time and the phones connect, make new friends within a range, news feeds, mini programs, games + ranking with your contacts, favorites, mobile top-up, paying utility bills etc.
They also support third-party APPs. Classy right?
You don't even have to explain it. They made the cars cheaper and the design looks fantastic. Also, Chinese government put policies in place to make sure that foreign cars are difficult/costlier to acquire. It's welcomed ingenuity.
But why the frequent show off and intimidation from the Otedolas
We have children of Dangote and other rich businessmen in Nigeria yet we don't see them bragging and posting everything going on in their daily life on the media.
These kids don't have any sensible thing doing other than crave for unnecessary attention online
This one studied in one of the best universities in the world and ended up being a DJ.
We know they don't need to work with their certificates since they are obviously rich and can work in their father's company per say
The other ended up a make-up tutor and
It is well
Lol chill. The publicity is good for her career. They're obviously doing it on purpose..
We will get there, slow and steady........
Stop saying this rubbish. Govt officials are stealing under your nose every month. We can move fast and steady too like Asia and UAE
The issue is that the Super Eagles is no match for that Argentine squad with Messi. They have players who have scored so many goals for their football teams, players who have played side by side Ronaldo and most especially they have Messi ; The World Best(argue with your bathroom slippers)
We can't beat them by defending because eventually Messi will or Aguero will find a way. Or Rojo lol. We should have tried to attack and attack well. Look for a weak link and capitalize or look for our strongest link which is Musa and use him RIGHT. Put players around him to make his work easier.
PUT EBEUHI TO MAKE MUSA WORK EASIER BECAUSE EBUEHI LIKES TO GO FORWARD AND HE'S GOT PACE AND SENSE THAN IDOWU. RELYING ON MIKEL OR ONE IGHALO IS ALL FLABBA. THEY'RE NOTHING. THEY HAVE NO PACE OR SKILL OR HIDDEN TALENT. MIKEL DOESN'T HAVE VISION OR LONG PASS. HE ONLY HAS USELESS SHORT PASSES.
To sum it all up, I think what the team lacked was self confidence and good marking instructions from the coach. Especially that Omuero and Idowu. Ahan. No self confidence at all. They can't even collect yellow card to save the defence. Lol. They're just like spirit .
ERCROSS: I suspect that this might be a mind game to divert the mind of the super eagles team from effective preparation. Our coach should better not use a back 3 this time around coz this people will use a front 3. A 4-3-3 formation with Etebo, Ndidi and Mikel in their middle, then a front trio of Simi, Musa and Iheanacho
How Nigeria can beat Argentina, I am not a football analyst, just a crude observer To beat an opponent in football is not rocket science. It depends on the coach and the players, of course they make up the team.
1. THE FIRST HALF IS AS IMPORTANT AS THE SECOND HALF: This is one of the issues of mindset. I can remember a certain commentator referring to Nigeria's Super eagles as a second half team, and this is a consequence of we not performing in most first half of our matches. The first half is the time you have to destabilize your opponent. This was the first mistake made by Iceland, they fail to destabilize us from the first half by preferring to seat in their box and play on counter thereby allowing us to grow in confidence which begin to become evident towards the end of first half but actually materialize in the second half
2. DISPOSSESS THEM: We have dribblers and a lot of them in the Argentine National team, the likes of Dybala and Lionel Messi. But it is actually very possible to dispossess these wizards. We blacks are known for our Strength, and this is one thing we have to use to our advantage here. When an opponent player is holding on to the ball, two of our players should rush to tackle him, while the other player around that part of the field should mark, one-on-one, other opponent players nearer to the player in possession of the ball should in case he passes to any of his teammates around him. This tactic will prevent Argentina from having much needed time on the ball, and consequentially reduce their chance of scoring.
3. DON'T PLAY OLD TIRED LEGS: This is actually a message to the coach. The likes of Onazi, Joel Obi and Ighalo have done well for Nigeria in the past. I can remember the Confederations cup in 2013 or 2014, where Onazi was our star player and Mikel Obi was on fire after they had helped us win the Nations cup in 2013. These guys are past their prime now. And you can't expect them to start running around the field to actualize the step number 2 above. To implement the step two above, we need young players who can run tirelessly for a whole of 90 minutes. Mikel Obi can still be used because he is a reliable defending midfielder.
4. COMPLETE PASSES: No player should hold on to the ball for too long, except if he is pressing forward with the ball. Even if na just to pass to the person beside you and take the pass back in a second. Pass the ball around, distribute the play and always find a way to move forward. This would destabilize the opponent.
5. DON'T FORGET TO PLAY AS A TEAM: This is the most important part of this write-up. The code is Massive-Attack, Mass-Defend. When you mass defend, you automatically implement the step two. When you mass attack, you expose their defense and give them a tough time. However, we must be careful not to expose our defense when we mass attack. There must be, at least three of our defenders should be at the midfield in case of counter attacks.
I recommend a 4-3-3 formation. Moses-Omeruo-Leon-Ekong. Etebo-mikel-Ndidi Simi-Iheanacho-Musa
Those middle Eastern countries, na crazy people full there o. I played another one too like that, after dropping from the parachute, two guys just spoke their language on the voice chat and ran towards me. Started blowing me thinking blows can knockout teammates. Later into the match, after I went solo, they ran over the other teammate and then me.
I once played with three men from Iran I think. Half way into the match, you wouldn't believe they ganged up against me and used grenades to kill me. They even laughed about it.
Biomutant allows you to customise your character with different robotic attachments, mutations and weapons, ranging from samurai swords to full-blown assault rifles. Experimentation is key, with each new bit of loot aiming to enhance the gameplay experience. .
Played from a third-person perspective, combat will be a mixture of martial arts, shooting and old-school melee attacks. All of these will be determined by your mutations, giving combat plenty of nuance
Exploration is a big component of Biomutant, and the way you can travel across the world is surprisingly varied. The land before us can be traversed on foot, mech, air balloon, jet skis and even a UFO. Hopefully, they all handle well and allow for a bit of customisation.
A plague is spreading across the world of Biomutant, poisoning the land and slowly killing the precious Tree of Life. This dilemma begins to turn neighbouring tribes against one another. The only way to succeed is for you to bring them together in an effort to conquer the greater evil.
booz: Not a bad performance. You can't give what don't have.
Everyone on here kept wailing and I wondered why. You're the only one who has made sense today. The argument of our best player is between Mikel ; an old glory player who has become too slow for 2018 football - and Moses ; a right back for Chelsea who is inconsistent and uncreative.
Now, football is not always about individual efforts only, it is also about team input and tactics. Our tactics is based on keeping possession and taking risk up front. I saw no risk taking and total uncreativity in all the players especially John Mikel Obi.
It's the players fault 30% and the coach's fault 70%. He overestimated the thinking capacity of Nigerian players. Stick to what they know. Run, dribble, take shots. COUNTER ATTACKING FOOTBALL. Stop trying to turn Obi to Xavi or Guti overnight. He cannot give what he doesn't have.
The solution is COUNTER ATTACKING football. Take Mikel out of the starting selection. Get a fast pace midfileder in there. Ndidi, Etebo and Iwobi as a CAM isn't bad too. Make them run and dribble and take shots.
This is really good news. I'm elated but their job isn't done just yet. They have to scrap technical courses at Universities too to balance it out. This is exactly what the educational system needs. I wrote about it last year.
Give Universities and Polytechnics the same amount of concentration to the extent that students would voluntarily choose Polytechnics as their first choice. Then and only then can Nigeria's educational system have an effect on Nigeria as a whole.
