Cynthiacute25:Meaning, as a woman, your life is centered on offering a man sex, comfort and peace of mind? |
Mcreloaded:Many (including the leadership of witchcraft) endorsed GEJ in 2015, yet he lost. Politics and electioneering is not about endorsements. Its about grassroot acceptance and mobilization. And these is clearly lacking in the Obaseki camp. |
Does Godday Idahosa and his mushroom party have any recognizable name nor political clout in Edo state? This is a well known political con man looking for candidates to extort money from. Fortunate for him, he found a good client in the drowning obaseki who is desperately looking for support and endorsement. |
Wishing him quickest recovery. Presently one of the most powerful and influential Nigerians. Power is transient though. |
IARASORGANIC:Have you experienced it? |
oz4real83:Why was gun invented, if not to kill. I don't know what the stats are in Nigeria, but the US records about 109 gun-related deaths daily. People can't hurt/kill people at this rate without a gun. |
A bullet is a projectile (usually metal) shot from a gun at a very high speed. Bullets are fired at muzzle velocities (about 370m/s), faster than the speed of sound (343m/s). Bullets damage their intended targets by transferring their enormous kinetic energy upon impact and penetration, thus causing tissue/organ damage and trauma (shock) which can cause instant death. All guns don't create same impact. Bullets from assault weapon for example, will shatter and destroy everything in its path. The wound/impact can be 4 times as big as one caused by a handgun. With a high-muzzle weapon, the bone is usually completely shattered into microscopic pieces. Why it Kills The bullet's speed alone can cause a large cavity (wound) in its wake, which can also harm the victim's organs, even if they are not directly hit. Bullets cause death in the following ways: 1. Excessive loss of blood: This occurs if any of the organs are hit, or any of the following blood vessels: the biachial artery (in your arm), the bilateral inguinal arteries (in your groin), or the subclavian arteries (beneath your clavicles). These could be so fatal. 2. Organ damage: If a bullet penetrates any vital organ (particularly the heart or brain), chances of survival are very slim (about 5%), and this largely depends on how fast the victim gets to the hospital. If it hits the stomach or intestine for example, the stomach acid, intestinal bacteria and enzymes are let loose, and these goes ahead to cause serious health problems in other body parts. 3. Shock: This is the main cause of death due to gunshot. As bullets travel at a very high velocity, on hitting the body (which is mostly liquid [about 60% of our body is actually water]), the energy it (the bullet) carries is absorbed by the tissues, thus creating a dangerous reverberating shockwave (trauma) throughout the body which could eventually lead to death. NB: Due to shock, if unlucky, a single gunshot even to the leg or arm can kill. What to do if you or someone around is shot After a gunshot, if you're still conscious, try keep the wound covered and apply moderate firm pressure to it. Do this even if the wound doesn't appear that bad from the outside. Then, seek medical help immediately. After a bullet tears the victim's flesh, fate rolls the dice, and ones chance of survival largely comes down to: 1. the path the bullet takes in the victim's body 2. how quick medical attention is gotten 3. whether or not the victim's hour has come. However, many have survived been hit by bullets, even in delicate body parts. 50cent took nine, Pac initially took five, others too have survived it. But, please avoid it if you can. Gunshot is a very nasty experience. If it hits your head, heart or lungs, you die almost instantly. For me, the safest part to be shot at is your hair or fingernails, and the worst part to be shot at is your Pelvis. Mehn, there, the bullet will terribly affect your nervous, excretory and reproductive systems. If you're fortunate to survive it, you just wouldn't be thinking of sex anytime soon, because your penis or vagina won't be used for a while! When you're in a security compromised situation, forget what you see in movies, and just sharpenly retreat to safety or take cover by laying on the floor. Also, NEVER EVER argue or challenge a man with a gun.

Slawormir:You no get orientation. If ruggedity bin pay, dem for gree you blend?

cyberghost23:Messi is not the problem. He is a fantastic player anytime anyday. The problem is with how his teammates, manager/coaching crew, Barca board and even the fans see him. Remember, he is just a single individual. |
eni4real:Is Barcelona Barcelona without Messi? |
One of Barca's problems is that they've so idolized Messi. Building a team around a single individual is usually very catastrophic. Thats why I so like the Bayern team.
|
He is playing cheap politics just to deceive the gullible. If he really wants to cut down the cost of governance, then he should slash their Imprest and other frivolous allowances/entitlements. |
Dis people and prostration sef. Back then, naso one neighbour dey always disturb me with "dobale k'o ki mi". |
Endurance28:We just hope that the Supreme court gets to uphold the Tribunal's decision. And also that the ANDP's candidate and his legal team don't get pressured to compromise their case. |
duwdu:The ruling didn't remove Diri from office, rather, it ordered INEC to conduct a fresh election within 90days. These are two different things. Ordering the express removal of Diri will create tension and a vacuum, this, the two Justices carefully avoided. |
Thats his own side of the story. There are always 3 sides (interpretations) to every legal issue. The one that favours you, the one that dosent, and what the law actually says. If/when the Apex court finally affirms the Tribunal's verdict, APC will know what to do. Diri is enjoying a stolen mandate, and it can be reclaimed, either via the main door, back door or window. |
homesteady:The case of certificate forgery levelled against Lyon's deputy was a criminal case and had to be heard in a regular court (not an election petition tribunal). Its a pre-election case because it didn't arise as a result of the conduct of the election. Tribunals are special courts setup only to hear post election cases. Petitioners have 21days after the declaration of the result to fill their case at the Tribunal. And the Tribunal has 180days to dispose of such cases. The Appeal court in turn has 60days to deliver cases brought to it from the Tribunal. |
kelvinginzie:A Tribunal definitely has a duration. So many things were grounded due to the pandemic, and I believe that's the reason it extended up to now. |
bigpicture001:Well, I believe Covid disrupted and extended its sitting. Anyway, a judgement has been given, and unless set aside by a higher court, it stands. |
bigpicture001:The Tribunal just gave its verdict. Diri has about 21days to Appeal the judgement. He remains governor of Bayelsa, pending the determination of his Appeal. |
chloedogie:Diri remains the governor, except he doesn't challenge (in a higher court) this judgement after the expiration of the stipulated period. In which case, the Speaker of the BHA will be sworn in as interim governor, pending the conduction of a fresh election by INEC. |
bigpicture001:The Apex Court's disqualification of the APC's candidate was a pre-election matter. This ruling is given by an Election Petition Tribunal set up to hear post election cases. The ruling could still be challenged up to the Supreme court level. |
Nonsense! Why should a guy even kneel and beg a lady to marry him? Someone should tell her not to expect this from me. That's just the truth. There are better ways of proposing to a lady.
|
sexylassie2:They are adults. The feeling was mutual and they enjoyed it. If she didn't, she definitely would have called him to order or embarrassed him. Some ladies are really love and sex starved, and sometimes wouldn't mind stooping a little low. Some, are just naturally crazy. |
Marital rape and men/boys as victims are not recognised in both the Criminal Code (section 358) and the Penal Code (section 282). Hence, it will be a purely academic exercise, and one in futility, for a Nigerian wife or man/boy to sue for rape. This is yet another section of our law that should be amended. |
No be everybody go make am from book, likewise everybody no go ever make am for street. Street smart, book smart. The aim na to make am, and the end justifies the means. |
Be careful of what you say, even here on NL. Yes, there is freedom of speech and expression. However, there are statements that constitute threats to peace and national security. |
He is a master strategist. He buries his interest in the collective interest of his people. Of all his traits, what I like most about Jagaban is the fact that he invests a lot in people and strategically positions them. That way, his interest(s) will always be protected. He has eyes and ears everywhere. However, I still prefer Osinbajo as president. |
Kriss216:I agree with all but your last statement. Irrespective of gender, good and bad people are evenly distributed in every setting. That you've probably been meeting and attracted to the bad ones, says a whole lot about you, and not the female gender. |
Nairalandmonika:China definitely wouldn't want Trump reelected, but Russia does. |
Righteousness89:Individuals don't make great nations great, strong institutions do. With or without Trump, America will still be great. |
