My younger sister is very friendly, and cynical, but this attitude of hers, is always to the extreme, she mostly lived with our elderly sister and her husband, while they leave her alone at home with their children often, this continue for long. During this time, i was away from home, because my work took me out of town.

Before my return, I was informed that my sister was pregnant for a thug she met whenever she was sent on an errand. According to her, this guy always waylaid her on the road threatening her to have sex with him, but she said it happened after she frolic with him and some other friends around the neighborhood, before he started making advances toward her. She is in her early twenties

To cut the story short, how they get to become intimate was a surprise to us. Because right now she is with a child and he wants the child to be born, yet he has no regard for any of us in our family, he insult us at will, and he is also a muslim.

Recently his family came over to apologise for his misconduct and demand we release the mother and the unborn child to them. meanwhile we do not want to have anything to do with a thug, that has no regard for the family with no sign of remorse. what do you think we can possible do on this issue

Do not release your sister to that family .. on what grounds tho

If transport Companies paid for people who are robbed and kidnapped every day in Nigeria, then they'll go out of business.. There's only little the Companies can do, like showing empathy and support. Like the 500K they proposed to you..it's unfortunate that Nigeria is a failed country.. even the transport Companies drivers are kidnapped including in your own case.. travelling on Nigerian road is very risky now, na only God dey protect person.

Let the Government protect lives and properties.. GUO will only pay and possibly be prosecuted if investigations reveal that they had a hand in it.. because they're also victims themselves...

I'm not supporting GUO or whatever but the first thing should have been to involve the police atleast..

Transport Companies should also look at taking insurance if such exists for passengers and luggages..

For me, the paying ransom path by aside... the way GUO treated the relatives was a disgrace... the least they could do is talk to the relatives.. dedicate phone lines to answer their questions...

GUO should have assured the relatives what they are doing with the police blahs blahs blah.. we are working together with law enforcement to locate the kidnapped passengers... you know , encourage them. Not turn their back on them.. give them attitude with rude customer service behavior.

I decided to post this topic here because this is the most visited page on Nairaland after the front page. I had some serious arguments with my friends because some of them were shaming me for slow progress in my musical career' mind you I started music since 2011 but I am yet to see a real breakthrough in my career though I have rejected some record deals in the past because they were suspicious to me.

One of my friends told me the reason I am yet to blow is because I didn't apply 'science' to my songs meaning I didn't apply juju to my career that all the big artists I know both local and international have some apply supernatural powers to their careers before they blew up that if I don't do the same that am going nowhere in music this got me thinking did Wizkid, Davido, Rema and Joeboy did all this blow or stay relevant because as for me I believe it's hardwork and opportunity but now am thinking otherwise.

No viewer watching the video without first seeing the title has any reason to associate the participants with Babcock university.

The only thing that links the video with Babcock university is the title of the video, which given the nature of the videos dissemination, neither participant is responsible for.

The person who did reputational damage to the school is the person that leaked the video, and the girl is as much a victim as the school in this instance.

If the girl was dressed head to toe in Babcock branded clothes, and shouting Babcock, Babcock, whilst being penetrated, then the university would have a case.

As it stands, this should be a straight forward civil lawsuit against the school

Babcock is not every university. It was established by a religious organisation. If it were a secular/public university, the case would be different.

I don’t know the identity of the actors, you probably don’t know them either but we both know the school which has been trending all day and for an unwholesome reason. We know their school was established not only for secular education, but to promote religious values as well. This video negates the tenets of the religious organisation.

The school authorities did the responsible thing. They must distance themselves from this and be seen to take a firm stand against such conduct. It’s that simple.

In the western world, schools don't give a śhit about that and they will possibly take action on behalf of the student... recall, neither the adults on the video released the video..

It was released by someone else and quite possibly the individual will be in jail somewhere and the individuals in the video could bring a lawsuit against the person.
