If public universities are finding it difficult to produce reasonable number of 1st class products, it means there are some things they are not doing right. How come some of our students are doing well in foreign universities where they don't compromise standard. Public Universities lecturers(not all of them) are saddist so to say. I could remember when I was in UNAD in 2007, a particular lecturer will ensure the total number of hours allocated to his paper during exam is not fully utilised just to make sure students perform poorly and later demand for settlement. Tell me how it is possible to graduate with First Class in such institution. |
How come you failed both commerce and financial accounting and did well in Economics? Something is wrong somewhere |
This is where the government is expected to play her role. This type of ailment should be brought to the attention of Kano State Govt for speedy assistance and the woman should be flown abroad for proper treatment. |
Some of you believe the axe of the north will definitely fall on Prof Osinbajo or he gets impeached. You've forgotten that only the most high God elevate. If it is the will of God that he will rule this country, who is a mere human to stop the work of God. |
This killing should be totally condemned by all. what have they done to deserve this?especially the little ones. |
By the time Fayose becomes President, he will be asking the populace to line up for his stomach infrastructure at the expense of basis infrastructure. |
When God is prepared to protect a child, there's no evil you can do to him or her that will affect the child. Imagine a baby in the bush and God protected him from dangerous animals and reptiles e.g snakes. The baby has a destiny to fulfill in this life. |
This story is incomplete. How can your body touch a soldier and the next thing is brutalising. If the man had apologised, I don't think a right thinking soldier would do such. There's more to this story. |
why will you collect cash from them in the first place? You should have told them to pay into your account and avoid issues like this. This is definitely a lesson for you for future reference. |
Dear OP, anxiety is what is affecting you presently. Do you even know that anyone that catches gonorhea are also expected to do test for chlamidia, syphillis and HIV. You'd better screen yourself for these 3 STDs before thinking of having further sex so that you won't unknowingly pass the infections to your wife especially when she gets pregnant. Lastly, always protect yourself. QED |

Dear nairalanders, Myself and my wife got involved in an argument that involves whether you should or should not take water while fasting. My own position is that you are at liberty to take water during period of fasting while my wife maintained that water should not be taken while fasting. I told her water is not food and dehydration could have health implication. pls what is the position of the Bible as regard this topic. |
Good morning, My wife has been complaining of contacting toilet infection of late and experience scratching of the private part. She has used micozol-plus but it's not working. She was also advised to use flagyl but the same problem persists. Please what other solution can be explored. Doctors and pharmacist in the house, kindly assist. Regards. |
Guy, most of the times, it's always cockroaches or small lizards(alarunbere(in yoruba terms) that scratch people's body in the mid-night. i have experienced such as well. Dont be bothered. Just fumigate your house. |
Upon the huge money spent to add to man-utd squard and the unwarranted weekly wages paid to players like zlatan and pogba, this team is out of it. Mourinho cannot achieve success without spending big. Let him go and coach club like chalton athletics and see if he would be able to win any cup. |
One thing I like about we Yoruba's is that we never encourage corruption to the extent of supporting a thief. It's a dent on a family name when a member of a family is accused of robbery, kidnapping or corruption. That is why when obasanjo put some Yoruba men accused of embezzling govt funds in prison, the Yoruba never took offence. How could some people be embezzling billions and majority will be wallowing in poverty. Let us be united in the fight against corruption. Those that were accused should be brought to justice without fear or favour be it southerner or westerner. |
Dear PHCN/IBEDC, I have watched with dismay the stress people had to go through in order to get prepaid meter at their place. This is the 8months that my father in-law paid for pre-paid meter in Osogbo, Osun State and yet could not get the meter due to one bottleneck or the other. I dont know if you guys are aware that you are shortchanging yourselves and think youre shortchanging customers. You are definitely blocking your sources of revenue to a large extent. For sure, the sector has been deregulated and privatised but you are not maximising your potential to rake in substantial revenue. Prior to the advent of prepaid meters, bills were always given to consumers at the end of the month. One of the shortcomings of this method is that some customers bribed their way out to phcn marketers by giving them small change and they will reconnect them back to power source. However, with the advent of Prepaid meters, this has been reduced to the bearest minimun though its still happening cos not all houses have been connected to prepaid. My advise is this. 1. All the prepaid meters that have been hoarded should be distributed to houses free of charge or at an affordable cost. We know the companies that produced these prepaid have incurred a lot in production, however, recouping such investment may not really materialise in the shortrun. This is my suggestion. For people that are given the prepaid meter free of charge, their monthly card recharge should be factored into the cost of the prepaid meter and spread for a number of years. For example, if a customer purchased 1200 units to be loaded, the company can program it such that the customer will only be credited with 800units while the remaining 400units would have been deducted as part of his/her repayment plan for the prepaid meter deployed. Kindly note that a customer whose units have been fully exhausted during the month would not have access to power and as such would be forced to purchase additional unit if he or she doesnt want to be in total blackout. Also note that the more power availability to consumers, the more your own revenue. Thank you. This is just my opinion. |
Honestly, this application has so many flaws, however, i want to point out some keywords the writer used which stands out of the letter. Words like UNVEIL, TENACITY and COMPETENCE. You will agree with me that some graduates may not even know the meaning of unveil or tenacity. If this job seeker is well polished, he or she will improve in his or her write up. Pls let's encourage him or her. |
Are the staff in the bank she works not entitled to annual leave? If they are entitled to it, then the easiest way that would not bring rancour between her and her boss is to apply for her annual leave. Nobody can stop her from proceeding on her annual leave. She should structure the leave to coincide with her exam period. simple as xyz |
I think we need to think outside the box and comprehend why chadian president uttered this statement. He' very confident that sharing intelligence with Nigeria may backfire as some insiders may leak such information. |
A friend of mine had a discussion with me today about the messy and unreasonable attitude of his wife today. According to him, he jst woke up and decided to eat lunch. The wife younger sister who was spending some days with them to assist the pregnant wife was the one that served him. As he was about eating the friedrice, the wife upon sighting two friedmeat on the rice was shocked and tried to remove one meat out of the two without his consent. The guy told me his contenance changed immediately and was so embarrased in the presence of his wife's cousin. My question is why would a married woman behave in such a way? Is there any rationale behind this act? He even told me there's enough meat in the kitchen that will serve them for like 3 days. |
I'm watching channels live now and president jonathan's card can't be read by the card reader. The president, his wife and mother have waited for like 20 minutes now. However, General Buhari was able to do his own accreditation in daura under 1minute. Hop some people are not tirelessly to discredit the use of card reader and render jega's innovation as useless. Nigeria, I hail oooo. |
Honestly, I feel pained by the rate at which people"s lives are been wasted via bokoharam insurgency in the Northern part of the country. I fail to believe that our past leaders are so comfortable with the state of the nation and couldn't come together to find a lasting solution to this problem. Our former Leaders are so busy playing politics of hatred and selfishness. I find it to believe that Obasanjo, IBB and Abdulsalam will deny knowing the source of the insurgency. They may not have a hand in it but based on the fact that they are so powerful, they should be in the know. How could they jst watch helplessly as the country is tending towards dis-integration? Jonathan on the other hand is not helping matter. The two challenges comfronting his administration is corruption and insecurity. While the former is self-imposed due to his body language which shows he encourages it, the latter is beyond his control. If Jonathan had not condone corruption, his govt wouldn't have been receiving various knocks and attacks. His handling of security issues depicts he doesn't have full grips of the security apparatus( I may be wrong), but how do we xplain the continuous loss of lives to bokoharam. I'm so particularly worried that our past leaders are doing nothing about this. Do they want this country to breakup? My second fear is that if 2015 degenerate to Warlike situation(God Forbid), these our past leaders will take the next available flight while the common man will be left to face the consequences. |

I laugh when some people say ngilari is a PDP man. What offence did he commit before he was tactically removed along side the governor? Ordinarily, when a governor is being removed, the deputy gov should take over. However because of selfishness of some people, dem use wayo commot d deputy as well. Our court has lived up to expectation once again. |

Hi nairalanders. Wonders shall never end for this naija o. Everyone with his own useless theory that cannot hold water. I worked with a private secondary school in lagos and when ever we are on break, there is this canteen we normally visit to take launch. On this very day, I decided to register as usual @ d canteen. When I got there, I met a colleague of mine who is a female teacher @ the same sch deep in thought. I initially did not approach her cos I thought may be na d usual clash with the principal that is weighing her down. Alas I was wrong. Small time, tears don deh flow frm her face. I was shocked. I summoned courage to approach her and after enough pestering to know what d issue is, she had to open up to me even though it should have been a private matter. Hear her story. She said she jst got married like a year plus and she's yet to conceive. I never even allow her to finish her statement b4 I said na baba God deh give pickin. She said her husband has been frustrating her in d house. Anytime she wants sex frm her husband, he will say d sex go make him go slim, his cheek go go inside as if person deh suffer frm mal-nutrition. And to cap it all, he said, if he has sex once, it will take him 21 days to recover and that if he go like 4 rounds, na 21*4 days be that. I have tried my best to console her I also told her to try and pet d husband in d middle of the night and let him see reason that the theory is fallacy. But pls nairalanders, is it true that if you have sex once, na 21days you go take recover while if na 10 times, it means na 210 days it will take someone to recover lost blood. |
It pains me to my bonemarrow when I see youths of this generation who follow politicians blindly. These people are trading with your future, stealing the resources of this country yet our youths only get eyes, they cannot see. From all indications, if somebody swear to the constitution to protect lives and properties and what we see is continuous loss of lives, does that person deserve to be our leader. Somebody claimed that bokoharam has infiltrated his govt yet he cannot fish them out, all we keep hearing is that we will soon get over it. Only God knows the number of lives that will be lost through suicide bombing b4 2019 if this govt eventually win the election come 2015. Even if you say the opposition are the one behind bokoharam, where's your evidence? . I laugh when I hear people say buhari is behind bokoharam. The question is where is your evidence linking buhari to it. If we call somebody the commander in chief of the armed forces and cannot take decisive action to tackle insecurity, then I dnt think we have a govt. Youths of this country, if we actually want change in this country, FASOLA to me is the most qualified amongst them all. If he's given the chance to lead this country, the change we clamour for will manifest. I rest my case. |
I'm neither a politician nor do I benefit financially frm the govt of the day. I'm even contributing to d coffers of the state govt cos I pay nothing less than 18k per month as personal income tax. However, frm all indications and putting sentiments apart, aregbesola deserves a second term. ₪☺ govt is a saint but there are yardsticks we must use to measure the performance of any govt in power. (1) The rate of infrastructural development (2) The relative peace recorded by the govt (3) Employment generation (4) Reduction in poverty rate. Considering the 1st three indices, Aregbesola has recorded a landmark achievements. He was able to build state of the earth primary schools in all the local govts of Osun state, he employed almost 20,000 youths via d o-yes scheme though monthly take home may not be encouraging. He was able to employ substantial number of teachers thru d teaching service commission. All d local govts in Osun have not less than 3 newly tarred street roads each. In Osogbo alone, aregbesola has been able to open more routes to reduce traffic. He's working aggressively to complete the dualisation of gbongan- Osogbo road. Parts of the allegations levelled against Aregbe's govt is the late payment of salaries and delay in paying retirees gratuity. While I personally is not happy about such, he has been able to adjust and now pay proper attention to the welfare of the civil servant. Aregbesola may not be a saint JƱڪτ̲̅ like any other govt, but let us weight the pros and cons of re-electing him. I believe he has unfinished business and therefore should be given a second chance to complete d good work he has started. |
