So is this an example of gender-based violence? Or is it okay because the culprit is also female?

When women aren't arranging to gang up on another woman and beat her up, they are disfiguring her with weapons, or beating up a helpless child daily.

Heartless souls.

What a forking slag! Wasn't it a woman like her who won the Women's Ballon d'Or? There's something wrong with van Dijk's statement if you're a zombie. "Was Ronaldo really a rival?" could've meant "Ronaldo is too big for me to consider him a rival", he has said it from day 1 that while he'll love to win the Ballon d'Or, he knows it'll go to either Ronaldo or Messi because they're phenomenal! He didn't even see himself finishing 2nd. This Ronaldo's sister and the rest of his family need serious medical intervention, if it's not the mother ranting, it's the sister or the gateman.
don't mind them, that's how they nagged organizers into extending voting by 2 weeks in 2013 so Ronaldo could win.

Still awesome value for money though. Was only wondering if I should just wait for a device similar to RN8 pro that ships Android 10 out of the box. At least that would mean it would get Android 11 eventually.

The tattoo bearing individual depicts some sort of irresponsibility and care free attitude and I believe the responsible folks we have out there (of which i believe many would want to be counted as) would not want to do business with or have as employees. A business environment is a business environment not a night club house.

Don't blame my defence; as you simply made yours a case of "two extremes": (They would rather employ the churchy-looking person who is mediocre at the job than employ the genius applicant who has a tattoo).

Only if you knew the kind of perception held against persons seen to be wearing tattoos: even in your "liberally minded Western countries you hold at such high esteem.
I understand why you'd think this way - I used to, too. Many (all over the world) think inside the righteous little boxes created by culture and religion and would swear that these are the basis for morality.

Just so you know, your own ancestors likely made some sort of ink (and white paint) tattoos on their bodies (albeit temporary) even before the white man came to exploit Africa. They also likely permanently mutilated their faces and called it tribal marks.

Also note that some past presidents of the US, like Roosevelt are said to have had tattoos. The current prime Minister of Canada Trudeau has a tattoo. I guess the government house is a night club house?

I don't even want to mention the many CEOs today that spot them. You (without tattoos) wouldn't be allowed anywhere near where someone like David Beckham would easily enter. Yet he's the one with the tattoo in a world where there is some 'perception' against his kind.

I don't have a tattoo because I don't like it, but it is incredible stupidity that would make anyone decide that the person without a tattoo would be a more productive employee just because the other person has a tattoo.

Same with the perception that a lady who shows some cleavage (or other skin) on her social media page would definitely make a bad employee. We focus on the wrong things in this country and the mediocre Nigeria we now have is the result.
Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Difference Between God And Lord? by Bahddo(m): 9:54am On Dec 01, 2019
It's the false trinity doctrine that is confusing you people. They aren't even remotely the same thing, although they are both titles, and not names.

'god' is title for a deity, with the capital 'God' meant to refer to the creator of the universe. The Bible calls the devil a 'god', and humans 'gods', but there is only one true God - the father and God of Jesus (not Jesus himself).

'Lord' is a far lower title that just shows you have reverence for whoever you use it for. In the Bible, it was common for people to call their kings their lords, and Sarah used to call Abraham her lord, even in her heart.

Jack Dorsey you say.
He is a part of the ownership of Twitter. How do recruit or fire the owner of a company?

Silly comment u made up there with useless likes.
actually, a CEO can be made to step down by the company board, even if he is also the founder.

It's just that the mentality is different in the western world when it comes to looks and your private life. Go on Instagram and see ladies who are doctors, professors or even soldiers posting work pics and also posting really revealing pics.

Nigeria is a different place, and Nigerians seeking employment should realize it. We reward certain behaviours that has nothing to do with productivity. They would rather employ the churchy-looking person who is mediocre at the job than employ the genius applicant who has a tattoo. It's one reason many Nigerian companies never become world class.

I'm wondering how people read that whole write-up and commented up to 3 pages and didn't spot the fact that the bill is limited only to the south.

Which means Male and female paedophiles in the north can and would still continue raping young infant boys.

Unbelievable!!!
that's likely because Nigeria has two sets of laws governing crime - the Penal Code of Northern Nigeria (inspired by sharia laws) applicable in northern states, and the criminal code that applies everywhere else.

This nation is a long-expired contraption.

Honestly, men are the enablers of manipulation by women. You lot are the reason why it continues to happen.

You see a woman doesn't give a damn about you unless you have money...

You see ladies keeping multiple partners, yet painting a male face on cheating...

You see a lady keep lying to you, like you are stupid...

Yet you keep giving her stuff, and asking what you should do. Take her back and marry her na. angry

If only he had not listened to the 'no matter what, never raise your hand on a woman' crew. If he had defended himself, he might have been alive to see himself being called an animal for beating a woman.

Better to be called an animal and alive than a real gentleman and dead.

I hope the law doesn't get lenient on that lady. She's a murderer and should be sentenced.

raising awareness by educating ignoramuses who claim men cannot be raped.

If other men did the same instead of arguing blindly that they cannot be victims, our leaders (law makers especially) would eventually make laws that recognize men as much more than just perpetrators, and women as much more than just victims.

Thanks.
1) A woman CONVICTED for murder of her aunt AND rape of her teenage male relative
https://7news.com.au/news/north-america/woman-sentenced-to-23-years-imprisonment-for-killing-aunt-and-raping-teenage-relative-c-411540

2) A young woman CONVICTED of sexual intercourse without consent (but sent to a mental institution instead of jail)
https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/us-news/woman-20-who-broke-exs-20786227

Note that rape is a form of sexual assault, and some US states do not even use the term 'rape' for either gender.

Still a man cannot be PENETRATED by a woman.
oga, the same US whose dept of Justice definitions you are quoting, recognizes male rape victims, and women have been sentenced for raping males (adults and minors).

That is why LEGALLY it is impossible to rape men, although they can be sexually abused.
For rape to happen legally, there must be PENETRATION.
that's according to our current archaic rape laws written by ignorant people, not according to the true definition of what rape is - sex without consent.

If you have sex with a person (whether you penetrate them or force them to penetrate you or you perform MouthAction on them) without their consent (or a person not old enough, too drunk, or too drugged to give consent), it's rape. It's time for that to be reflected in our laws.

Romance › Re: Help, My Husband Keeps Insisting I Stop Talking To Strangers by Bahddo(m): 8:27am On Nov 26, 2019
JaneKenedy, you seem to secretly enjoy the game of being chased by strangers, while your husband is insecure about it.

The troubling part is that you see nothing wrong with it, that's where the bulk of the issues seems to spring from. In your story, for example, you tried to justify your agreeing to let a stranger who is flirting with you, taste your lips from your bottle; you insisted your husband is at fault for being out late. What's the relationship, biko? The next thing, that guy would want to taste your lips directly, or maybe the ones down south.

Being a virgin at 30 also means nothing. You enjoy being flirted with, and all it takes is a 'sharp' guy to take it to the next level. Your husband realizes this and is justifiably insecure.

As long as you both disagree on boundaries like that, you would always have disagreements over that same issue.

You have to talk it out like adults that care about each other. For goodness sake, stop trying to justify your actions when they aren't right. Admit that what you are doing is capable of making him feel the way he is feeling.

If you don't like something he's doing (maybe the way he criticizes you while correcting), tell him how it makes you feel, instead of trying imply that his action is the reason you also did something flirty. Take responsibility for your actions.

If you understood ladies, even slightly, you'd know it's time to forget that relationship.

When a lady is still into you, she invests lots of energy into talking to, and being with you. When she instead tries to cut off or reduce communication, you are no longer number one.

because those are the people they are stronger than. Women usually don't abuse men because they are physically unable, not because they don't want to.

Also, ladies gang up on other ladies all the time. It's only kids they can safely and secretly abuse all by themselves.

Politics › Re: Buhari Says He Has No Third Term Agenda by Bahddo(m): 9:31pm On Nov 22, 2019
That's exactly what I'd say if I was president and had a secret 3rd term agenda.

Just like the moves before elections (replacing CJN, postponing elections, etc) pointed to a desire to remain in power by all means for a second term. So are the events of today, indicating a 3rd term ambition, especially the social media and hate speech bill.

Many Nigerians don't know what's about to hit them.

I have tried talking to him about side hustles such as business (trust me when I say I have business ideas), I help him look for other things that can fetch him money, one time like that I even dedicated a whole day to help him look for sites he could write for and earn extra cash, I told him about it, asked him to find out about them but he never got back to me. I'll want to tell him things he can do but he's always busy. Goes to work early and comes back late, barely even chats with me. Anyways she God will help us. Hope the sensible ones like us never get taken for granted.
why don't you implement those your business ideas? Does it have to be the guy who goes early to work and returns late?
