Generally, naija babes don't do guys with dreads. It's the same old story - How can I present a man with dreads to my dad?

I've got shoulder length locs. They are clean, and I get them re-twisted every month. I also wash them every blessed day. Yet, a lot of my naija friends still call me immature for having locs.

Personally, I don't give a hoot what you look like or how you wear your hair. I'm strongly attracted to women with long flowing locs.

Double-date means you and your friend going out for a date with your mate and his/her friend. It's good because generally human beings, social beings that we are, tend to like doing stuff together.

In an ideal, mature relationship, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. It's immature and some external factors that be a problem. Of course, going together, or going with a group of mutual friends is always good as well.

Iice - a good number of my childhood friends in Naija were mixed race - Naija dads, european moms. However, a good number of the mixed race people I met here in the UK also had european fathers. I always felt that there were more Naija men than women marrying foreigners because of the sexual discrimination that was quite widespread during our parents time - i.e. people were more likely to educate their sons than daughters, so more men travelled abroad for education than women.

My personal theory as to why there may be more african women than men in mixed relationships nowadays is probably because the media has created this image of black men as aggressive and criminal minded beings, as a result people tend to be rather intimidated by black men, while black women are less threatening.

I will re-state what I previously said. If Ojukwu had seceeded with the Ibo speaking, and only the ibo speaking areas of nigeria, then Biafra would be a separate country today. The South-south may have a relatively large Ibo presence, but the oil regions were not Ibo.

Their were some Ijaw and Itsekiri cheifs, even then who professed a concern for "life" under Ojukwu.


A vast majority (if not all) of the oil producing parts of the delta aren't even populated by Ibos.

Afam, take your hatred elsewhere, and learn to speak with respect. I'm from the south-south, and I assure you, we didn't view Ojukwu with any form of admiration. The south-south was heavily marginalised in the biafra of Ojukwu's mind.

You do realise that only Liverpool beat our young and inexperienced team amongst the top teams last season (Top teams here means Manu, Chelski, Liverpool and Totts).

Just a quick rejoinder - What does the south-south have to do with the Igbos? The civil war wouldn't have happened if Ojukwu had seceeded with the Igbos. But he seceeded with the new oil producing Niger Delta, and other "minorities" in the south-south. That was was over OIL. Otherwise, biafra would be a republic to this day (i.e. -just the Igbo areas, no cross river, no rivers, no oil)

That article is seriously surreal. In my opinion, the three most unruly English teams are Millwall, West Ham and Man U. The first two no longer play continental football much, but imo Man U completely outranks Liverpool in away violence.

Igbo, for someone who knows his way around, Naija babes also give it up "like that". The reason why Naija guys (not all Naija guys are like this) is mainly because of the exotic look. Also, some guys claim that the uneccessary forming and money consciousness of naija babes is a turn off. It varies from person to person I guess.

May I also say that you can as well get a school while applying from Naija as well. It's all online anyway, so I sincerely don't see how going to the UK to apply will help.

Do you know that scientifically, it hasn't been proven that "indo" makes people mad? I know loads of people in the UK who take the occasional spliff or two, and go about their normal lives. I don't recommend it, but I really don't see what it has to do with madness either.

Actually, chelsea is by far the richest club in the world. The money chelsea has spent over the last two seasons would have bought barcelona.

Mate!!! First, buy books or register for a course. Second buy pcs (two or more on a network would be nice). Install the necessary software, and start trying to implement your solutions. When you run into problems, bring the problems here, and we will try to help you tackle them. No disrespect man, but what you're asking about is a reasonably lengthy process, and I'm not sure anyone will simply post that here in a few lines.

salutations. I am however not mixing up my facts. I am talking about sheer profitability, NOT investment. Profitability is measured by comparing money spent to income received.

Snapping up Babayaro from belgium was good, but remember that Amokachi, who was rated much higher that babayaro then was also snagged by everton, a team that was fighting relegation the season before. Oliseh was playing in Reginnia (Italy!!!)

The simple reason was NOT money. In the 80's and early 90's, english football was in shambles. They had been banned from continental football for a while, and it took them some time to settle back into the scheme of things. For a good part of the early '90s, no true professional wanted to come to England to play. England, for quite a while was rated even below Belgium, as a good league to play in.

There's this psychological explanation (not necessarily an excuse). It's all due to the drive of mankind to procreate. A woman gives birth and KNOWS that the child is hers. You have made a good point, however, let's look at the bigger picture here.

Bolton - boring football. I once went to see a bolton home game. It cost £15 to get into the stadium.  Arsenal is judged to be an entertaining team. As a result, their season tickets are the most expensive in the premiership. Do you know that Arsenal is currently the most profitable football team in the world, (profit after tax)? Do you know Chelsea is probably the worst?


Let me tell you something else. In the '80s, Italian football was all the rage. Back then most people had an italian team to support, not premiership as we have now. Regianna, Inter, AC, Juve, etc. What happened? Well, they started building their teams around their defence (sort of like Bolton. and Chelsea of course). The result? Well, in the top echelons of football countries (this would be England, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Germany), the Italian league is currently the least profitable. The most profitable (for now) is the premiership because people only pay money to watch interesting football.


Oh by the way in "those days", chelsea didn't have the flashiest players in the world (That would be Romario, Roberto Baggio, and others). Zola played in his first world cup back then. What chelsea had was one of the flashiest teams in ENGLAND, not the world.

Actually, Naija is NOT being run by religious laws, not with all thatb embezzling. Neither Islam nor Christianity permit stealing.

Actually, I think this is some cultural beleif that seeped into religion. Christianity too has it's own fair share of slightly sexually discriminatory scripture
