The fact that he has a PHD is not the amazing part of the story. The amazing part is that his parents actually allowed an idi.ot into their home to spew nonsense. The parents should have been flogged. Sadly, this is the reality in peoples lives. No hope, so they grasp at straws instead of using the most valuable of God's gifts. Their brains. People don't think anymore. They'd rather have s.tupid faith on things that common sense can help them solve. No one can see into the future. I repeat, no one. |
Romance › Re: Stunts Ladies Who Are 25+ Shouldn't Be Pulling by banmee(m): 12:57pm On Apr 22, 2016 |
emusmith: Smithy: Stunts ladies who are 25+ shouldn't be pulling
Hmm...as I look around, I see reasons to also note from a different perspective that everything is not BLACK and WHITE, there are also GREY areas.
The number of 25+ ladies are increasing by the day and funny, some of these women don't understand the significance of etching closer towards '30'.
Like it or hate it, all guys can't be wrong at same time. There are some stunts you shouldn't pulling if you are 25+ and if you persist, history will keep repeating it self: - Late marriages - Unhappiness in the home. - Divorce etc
1. Being Over- Dramatic
Drama! Drama!! Drama!!! Yes, girls are dramatic by default but if you are heading towards 30, you should reset you default settings. All of a sudden, you quit talking to a guy you've known for years or even months and you expect him to...to what? To decipher and doggedly go after you. Later tomorrow, you'll say, "I'ld have left you but you forced me". That's what guys don't understand. Mind you: guys have admirers too but they chose you. Reduce the drama.
2. Changing guys like under wears
You'll see a girl who claims is getting ready for marriage test-running different guys like a guy testing which console will work on his PS2. Yes, you did it as a 'kid' but now? Haba! You wonder why no responsible guy is coming your way, it's simply because you've friendzoned all of 'em.
3. Still upholding the Principle of "oloshos"
Do I know the principles? At least I know that they date all kinds of men, Sugar daddies and Alhajis included. You can't be cross-dating and still expect a responsible young man: Mba! His mummy's prayer negates that!
4. Pursuing guys after "free" rides, meals, dates etc
There is nothing as naughty, demeaning and cheap-looking as a 25+ girl who claims to have no feeling for a guy BUT wants free meals, rides, from same. That's irresponsible. If na so 'love' dey catch you, get a guy that will love you for free. Don't get a guy's hope up, and later you start acting innocent and weird. That's witchcraft!
5. E-robbery
A robber takes from you and doesn't sit with you. "She" runs away. I have heard some guys who have been "robbed" by some of these chicks. To them it's a game but it's an indirect way of strengthening yourself as a "single and searching" for a long time.
PS: It hurts me to see a girl deceiving herself, all in the name of "I still have more time". The truth is: the shortest 5 years in a ladies life is the 25-30 range. A word is enough for the wise. You are probably 12 years old. Women don suffer for Africa. Poverty is disease. |

achinice: from your stories its called Revenue generation and that explains why Obio/akpor is the 2nd richest local govt in the whole of Nigeria. We have laws in every society we find ourselves maybe you broke a traffic law warrantng them to have impounded your car....you brake a law there's always a fine to it. Ignorance is deadly. in what universe do you live in where you think it is ok to generate revenue using touts and also taxing multiple times for the same service. Never mind. Don't answer that. You are an Ekwere man. It is normal. |

Do you remember who obliterated Odi Community for killing just 21 policemen in an Ambush?
Recheck your facts hommie. OBJ never negotiated with any known terrorists. Ever heard of Asari Dokubo? Have you forgotten how OBJ flew him to Aso Rock to Negotiate? And you might wanna revise your knowledge of what going on in ND. Where or who do you think began amnesty allowance payments. How do you think they arrived at that if not through negotiations. And i never said anything about terrorists; I SAID MILITANTS. |

MadCow1: You are talking about thugs and touts.. Yes that one has always been there.
Now its broad daylight kidnapping, broad daylight Robberies and Broad daylight assassinations. Bro's it has always been like that since the 2000's. Abacha and OBJ were the main reasons. When Saro Wiwa got killed something changed in Rivers state and militancy began. Obj made it worse by playing strange bed fellows the militants and a lot of the youths began to see how easy it was to get paid, so they began to kidnap and take hostages. |

afoobabs: Gradually rivers state is becoming the valley of death It has always been like that. The only reason people are beginning to realise it now is because of social media. I lived and worked there in the early 2000's and believe me when i tell you that it was hell on earth. Everyone there is basically a thug. Even the women. To give you an example; a friend of mine saw this chick he liked and decided to toast her. She went back home and told all her brothers and they all trooped to his office demanding he pay ten thousand Naira as penalty for toasting their sister without permission. 10K in those days was a lot money. He had no choice but to pay to avoid embarrassment. The fear of an Ekwere girl is the beginning of wisdom. There, ladies and gentlemen is their power in Rivers state. Extortion and the mob mentality. Countless times we would have the so called youths come to our office to demand that we employ them or they burn down the place even though they were not qualified. Another example; Every local govt would print out stickers which you had to buy in order to operate a branded vehicle as a sales rep. So, to operate in Rumuola you need a set totally different from the ones in Rumuokoro. And these didn't come cheap. It is either you pay or you were held hostage and your vehicle possibly impounded. I remember spending about 100k in one year and i got audited because of it. My company didn't believe me until the auditor came personally and witnessed the horrors i had to go through just to do my job. The auditor later told me that there was no way in hell he could do what i did. I asked for a transfer as soon as the audit was done, just to get back at them and resigned when they didn't. I already had another job lined up. |

It's not smugness if it's true. Compared to the low level of intelligence on this forum, it is difficult not to feel better than a vast majority of the members and by extension, Nigerians. Nigerians are just too dull, and by extension as well, Nairalanders. My favorite saying now is; I could replace a vast majority of Nairalanders/Nigerians with sheep and nobody would know the difference. |

To be honest I feel disappointed hearing we never had any swap deal with China after previously announcing to the public we did.
I think it's better u don't announce at all in the 1st place if you're not certain about it. Denyin it later on is so annoyin and disappointing. If u want the masses to take u seriously then u will have to do away with double mouth.
#I still stand with Mr President Nevertheless. Why disappointed? God just saved you all. Nigerians cannot maintain a university hostel's toilet they want to handle a major collaboration with an economic giant. Ok. Not to talk of the corruption levels in the country. Fix one problem at a time. Nothing positive can happen till corruption is reduced to the bare minimum in the country. |
