I wish Nigeria can be great again

Our thinking needs to change for better. All the places i saw in the pix above are neat and beautiful compare to what we have today.

Just made me remember the song in the 80's that goes: Nigeria go better..... African go survive..... Nigeria go survive ooooo.... Africa go better....
When has it ever been great?

Bu...but i thought Dullapo and APC had the magic wand. You folks cant even manage previous successes, talkless of delivering good governance. Pathetic.
It is because Nigerians are not exposed. Politicians will say anything to get elected. It is up to the electorate to grill the politicians so that they don't get hood winked into voting for them. This is what is going on in the U.S at the moment. All the candidates are being grilled extensively. It is not just about saying i will do this and that, but how are you going to do it? Nigerians don't like asking their leaders questions. sycophancy has completely eroded the way they think and do business.

RomanceRe: How Did You Woo Your Girlfriend? by banmee(m): 10:55am On Jan 27, 2016
Amoshie:
This might sound strange in this present generation of ours but the fact is I have never wooed a girl. I am 27, all the girls I have been with either showed signs that they liked me and I capitalized on that or it just happened by chance. Right now I have no one and I have been thinking of approaching a certain girl for a serious relationship but the thought of walking up to her sends shiver down my spine. Mind you I am funny and outgoing. Still schooling though, in my final year. I don't have much money to play any trick on her lol.

So guys how did you woo your girl? What did you tell her and to the ladies, how did your guy woo you?

I am pretty sure I am not the only guy in this predicament so sharing your experience will be of help to a lot of guys.
How you woo a woman depends on your personality and mentality. In my "player" days, i just couldn't get along with most females. I have a sharp mind wink and a witty personality. My romantic relationships didn't go anywhere but my sexual escapades while constant, didn't last for very long. Ever tried having a conversation with a nollywood addict with a dull mind? That shiit ain't happening. The ones i had similarities with just clicked naturally. I didn't need to "woo" anything. If you try to force your intent on someone who's personality or interest differs from yours, then you'll always hit a road block. Dull minds attract, same as sharp minds. grin

Anyone waiting for any meaningful development or growth from this government or any government for that matter, is living in lala land. Not because it is incapable of providing it, but because you cannot just wipe away more that 4 decades of mismanagement, corruption and a depraved mentality in 4 years. It is not just possible. It is easy to destroy. To build is a different thing entirely.

Bigpicture:
I honestly think general fumigation will help solve Atleast 50 percent of the Lassa insecurity all around. Every state government/ local government should consider this process and maybe we can get rid of those Bastards this once.

Ladygbeborun! #Ispeaklife
Fumigation is only a temporary solution. To solve a problem you need to find the cause not the symptom. The truth is, Nigeria is a dirty country. It is probably one of the most unhygienic and dirty countries i have ever seen. And Nigerians?. . . .well you figure it out. Rats don't just materialize for thin air. They need a dirty environment to breed and thrive. Nigerians need to start taking waste management seriously and the problem will reduce.

Sunnycliff:
There is nothing we won't see in this world. The beginning of wonders is when goats become graduates from almajiri schools.
Don't be amazed. It is actually a good thing. I don't give a phuck about dogs, but the business and employment the sector generates galvanizes the economy. This is one of the reasons America is great. They create an enabling environment for different kinds of businesses to thrive thereby creating revenue for the government through taxation and employment for it's citizen. It took me a long time to understand this concept. First they create laws protecting that sector, (in this case, don't beat your dogs, cats, snakes, lion, etc) then they inject funds into it to make the sector grow through grants and all that until the sector can stand on it's own two feet. The government doesn't really care about animals but they care about the growth it represents and the taxes it generates for the economy. Americans spent 56 billion dollars on the pet industry last year. 56 billion. Do you you know how many people would have been employed from this alone and how much tax the government would generate? Nigerians really need to start thinking like this if they want to move to the next stage. The problem is Nigerians are very limited in their mentality and experiences which is a big problem. I say again, i don't give a phuck about dogs.

Your problem as Nigerians is that you can't discern when things have change and you are always and also afraid of change which is constant in life... Who between Nigeria and biafra is showing muscle, The forceful incarceration, the killing of peaceful protesters of biafrans?
The 19th century can never be this time the 21st... Our sovereign state, Biafra can't be gotten with arms as adviced by EU to us... Nigeria want fight to call us militants and terrorist and we will never give it to them... Analyse the situation you will understand that biafra is ahead in the game... We are fearless in the presence of our enemies and are prepared to die for the younger generation... Patriotism for a country like Biafra is all yes to us... We will destroy Nigeria with the truth as learned and civil people we are... All hail Biafra... Go commit suicide anyone who dislike this and want to quote in ill-words...
Biafra or nothing...

When the young man said he is coming to pull down Nigeria ppl like u in government did not understand it at all, that was why dey fell for his trap. To be Frank with you, FG doesn't know wat to do with him again. He is like ant on their scrotum. The more u understand the fact that He's has become more popular in prison the better for u.....
There you go again. You are probably too young to remember but Abiola exemplified the true struggle of revolution in Nigeria. It wasn't just the west that voted and wanted him, but the whole country. What happened in the end? Nigeria did not burn or break up na now e wan happen? People used him and dumped him and he died in prison for nothing. If i remember correctly, two igbo men, chukwumerije and Arthur Nzeribe were the mouth piece of the government at the time. both were very instrumental in furthering the agenda of the military government. Lol. Life's a bi.tch isn't it? You better wake up and learn your history.

You are not equipped for it but yet you make threats. I laugh in waffi. You go just die for nothing. Which is still the lesson you fail to heed to. I really pity una i swear.

Kanu will find out first hand why Nigerians are not worth fighting for. Abiola's case should have given him a heads up. This is what happens when people don't know their history.

It is sad that this is Nigeria. In a normal society, you would have the choice of keeping it or not. Don't mind these people telling you to keep it by all means. They are not in your shoes. Do you come from a rich family? Can you raise a kid at this time? Do you have a good paying job? If your answer to any of these questions is no, then life as you know it now is over. It is going to be rough for a very very long time.
