Maiconyoung:Your comment is contradictory. We are political animals. Even Jesus christ was killed because he ignored the politics of his time. Politics revolves around the destiny you care so much about. You have to be active in it. Case in point; Look at Nigeria's condition. The reason it is the way it is, is because it's citizens are mostly ignorant about their political climate and it's impact. What most are waiting for is the next elections and how much cash/garri/rice/salt they can squeeze out from candidates. |
Bifwoli:You have just proven my point. Nigerians will go far as asia to dodge their fate in Nigeria, but you will not see other countries citizens here because they know Nigeria is total and complete rubbish. Did a stop over in Kenya once and spent three days there. From what i experienced with how they maintain and distribute power, they are miles and eons away from anything Nigeria has to offer. They are not the best but compared to Nigeria, Kenya is paradise. |
KINGMAKER001:Guy, don't blame them. It is not easy to protest on an empty stomach. Plus, in Nigeria, only fools would want to fight for the country as it is today. All you would be doing is fighting for the rich and powerful. I don't know if you remember Adams Oshiomole as a member of the NLC and later as the leader of the body. As a member, he was fearless, very vocal and was always confronting the Government on every issue. All he needed to do was ask and we would sit at home for weeks on end. Little did we know that he had an agenda. He has been governor for 8 years and all he has been able to achieve is his elevation to the high and mighty in Edo state politics and i dare say, Nigeria. He even married an Eritrean babe just to rub it in our faces. This was a guy who did not have a dime to his name before politics but today he is a millionaire in whatever denomination. You all need to wake up and smell what the Rock is cooking. |
tiwiex:What you are basically saying is, it takes s.tupid people to vote for a s.tupid leader. Buhari did not vote himself in as president. Nigerians did. Ok, lets just assume that it was a mistake or error on the part of Nigerians in voting him in. What about OBJ? What about PMB? What about shagari? How come every single leader in Nigeria has always been terrible? Mathematically, it is almost impossible. By now, based of the laws of probability, Nigeria should have had at least one descent leader. Not great but at least passable. In more than half a century fa. |
youngeagle:You are on the right track but not there yet. Some might think you are crazy but this is exactly what Ghana did under Jerry Rawlings that saved them. They were as bad as Nigeria back in the day and when Rawlings did his coup, he gathered all their previous leaders, both military and civilian, and wiped them out. Even if you were innocent, for the mere fact that you had influence and could probably convince people to do anything, he executed you. This is what Nigeria needs right now. From Buhari, OBJ, PMB, all the way to every sitting member of the senate. The alternative is war. That cannot happen. Think about it. Nigerians behave like animals in peace time, what do you think they will do if they ever fought a civil war? They will make what happened in Burundi seem like a kindergarten play house party. The next thing will be to begin a total and complete re orientation and re education of it's citizens. Nigerians mostly don't think like normal people. The abnormal is seen as normal and corruption is business as usual. That kind of thinking needs to be wiped out. These are the most important things to be done to effect any kind of change in Nigeria. |
KINGMAKER001:He is not painting the country black, he is only telling the truth. I don't know if you know this but, every country in the world knows what is going on in Nigeria. I hope you know how the internet works. He knows that if he tells the world otherwise, they will only conclude what they already suspect. That he is incompetent and the people he is leading are mostly m.orons who don't know what's good for them. As much as they complain about poor governance and it's present leader, they will gladly collect cash, or salt and rice to vote for another useless leader. Nigerians deserve all the leaders they've had since independence. |

You need to watch this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23d7aImNGig |
psalmskiddy:You are proud of unbelievable corruption, mass poverty, filth, decay, mismanagement, murder/jungle justice, etc. I don't know if you are aware of this but these are not things to be proud of. |
dasparrow:You would think since they have gotten the opportunity to go a better country, they would use the opportunity to upgrade their mentality but no. They want to keep their Nigerian mentality in a normal society. All they talk about is how to amass plenty of dollars or Euro so they can come back and "oppress". What kind of thought process is that? |
AntiWailer:The problem with Nigerians is once they see one bad thing about another country then that country is automatically on the same low level with Nigeria. America has crimes and problems, but can you equate it with the problems in Nigeria? We can't even compare Nigeria to Ghana. It would be an insult to Ghana. Every country has problems. There is no country you can compare Nigeria to. Well, that's not true. Afghanistan comes to mind. You would not believe how similar Nigeria is to that country. They are both tribalistic as phuck, extremely corrupt, dirty, and one minute you could be taking a stroll and the next minute you'll see a mob killing someone for one reason or another. |
Pavore9:Not just in Kenya. That is the rule of thumb all over the world. Mingle with them at your own peril. |
AntiWailer:How many kenyans have you heard are hiding in Nigeria? That should tell me something. |
bolt000:Everyone in Nigeria is to blame. |
Richy4:When you have a society where less than 10% are "good", then they might as well be all bad. |
It is not easy being an upcoming fraudster, i mean pastor. |
Richy4:It is not going to get better. In fact it is going to get worse. Nigerians just don't know it yet. The young ones are already corrupt. |
nwasinachi:I don't see anything wrong with it. They are only providing what Nigerians are used to. And they don't really complain or show their disapproval. If they did not like things like this, they would not collect salt and rice before voting. Nigerians like it which is why they keep putting the same kind of people in leadership positions. |
Richy4:To most Nigerians, the lowest standard is very adequate for them. It is all based on ignorance and exposure. They have never experienced any quality standard that they can compare their experiences to. |
Richy4:This is how bad it is. Nigerian universities cannot manage or maintain online courses. How on earth can anyone think they are anything but poor. |
Omoakinsuyi:Before you can have that opinion, you have to experience what a REAL university feels and looks like. There is not one university in Nigeria that meets the minimum standard. |
hybeenoni:Just like Nigerians brought the calamity they are in on themselves. |
ArabMopol:The issues you all collectively focus on leaves much to be desired. The real ones you avoid or neglect and focus on trivial matters that have zero impact on your lives. Smh. |
Babzilla:Exactly. |

You and these your memes. You no go ki mi one day. |
ArabMopol:Are you just waking up to what happens in the world? He didn't bring it on his plane na. It's normal protocol internationally. |
seunmsg:They have no choice but to respect him. You have to respect any leader in Nigeria. It is not easy leading one of the most corrupt nations in the world. You have to be brave to do that. |
Hedonistically:It was a typo. I meant to ask how old you were. |
Hedonistically:Seriously. How old are you? |
KingCheezyPuff:I'm beginning to see what you are talking about babzilla. |
KingCheezyPuff:I plead the fifth. Not saying anything more till i have my lawyer present. ![]() |
KingCheezyPuff:Trust me; We've known ourselves online for a very very long time. ![]() |
KingCheezyPuff:He's just joking na. I'm telling you, compared to most people i've mingled with on NL, he's a freaking Einstein. You might wanna fight for it. |
