see comments from morally bankrupt Nigerian youths. I am in a state of shock reading some of these comments. That man was only owed a thank you, any monetary compensation is a bonus. Yes, he drove back to give her 'her properties' back but we know from this story he didn't need to. It was a uber ride and they must have spoken on the phone before then, he could have just called her come pick it up if he can't spare the fuel. He should have just stolen it in the first place if he is so desperate for money. For him to even have taken the time to go through everything in the purse, counting the money et al shows how much greed is in his heart. Rubbish. |

Electric vehicles are not recent inventions at all. The first one was built in 1829!! It was abandoned due to its impracticality at the time. Good write up but you need to dig more so as not to misinform. |

vince2016: By saying Igbo is the best tribe you are already undermining or diminishing other tribes and this mind set is problematic in itself for you and your people. There is NO best tribe nor WORST tribe!! Do you even know, especially in SA, that the people and Govt are beginning to differentiate igbos from other Nigerians because they exhibit certain bad trait common to these set of Nigerians. 80% of Igbos outside the country, paint Nigeria in bad image....do you know that? People should not be throwing figures around. Where did you see your 80% figure? |

iammo: Two gentlemen

Makinde needs the formula of handling Oyo thugs/ NURTW thugs
And the master plan of how to win Oyo state second term
Learn how not to demolish buildings without building plan or approval or else our people wnt let you be as they prefer disaster to preventive demolition
Again I pray God gives him the wisdom to generate enough. revenue to cater for thousands of school in Oyo state and have enough fund for roads spanning the large expanse of oyo. Because our people don't want to pay 3000 per year on a child's education they want government to cater for that freely and any attempt to increase tax or levy is a political suicide We all know Makinde's plan to scrap that developmental levy will be disastrous for the future of Oyo State but since that is what the majority want, we will all be here to reap the fruit of that seed they are sowing. Seyi wants to pay all salaries on the 25th of every month, he wants to scrap the security levy on religious bodies that is funding operation bursts and the new security cameras and also promises to eradicate thugs from our streets in the same breath, I wonder how he will do that. This guy has set himself up for failure, anyway, make we dey look sha. |

Politics › Re: The 2015 Presidential Election Result Breakdown By States: Another Look by barragan: 10:19am On Feb 15, 2019 |
ayenika1: [s]Atiku will get more than your forecast. The Governors of Ogun,Osun and Oyo are the cause. The last uproar in Ogun shows that APC or APM will not even the Gubernatorial. Amosun failed to release ASCON list which would have put a smile on a number of families. His body language is too bad for APC and he might loose his senatorial seat if care is not taken.[/s]
Ajimobi on his part is the worst Gov in the SW. He did virtually nothing. [s]Makinde is making waves more than Penkelemesi. He talks too much with lots of abusive words. Oyo people are tired of him. For his attitude, I doubt if PMB can garner 40%.
Omisore's alignment with APC in the last election is still very fresh in the minds of those people. They are ready to show him pepper. The present Gov's expected policy on education is also a ripple effect. Do you know teachers in Osun now close by 3pm and 4pm respectively? Do you think they are happy despite the backlog still owed by the last administration.
In Ondo, PMB will perform excellently well. Akeredolu will seek for another tenure and he's currently doing all that will favour the masses. Paying backlogs, prompt payment of allowances, good rapour with the workers, etc.
Lagos, it will be very close. Igbos will massively vote for Atiku because of OBI. Majority of the learned in the state are tired of Tinubu's dynasty. They are ready to get rid of him and his party. Lagos will Bank on touts to rig the election because it will be a big shame on Tinubu if Atiku wins.
Ekiti will also be a tight contest. Fayemi has been silent all along. Not sure he was in the campaign team of Buhari to SW states. Fayose is working hard to make sure Atiku wins. He knows Ekiti politics more than Fayemi and the killing of Bunmi Ojo,the PA to Segun Oni will be a set back for APC is some parts of Ekiti. Masses believe the present Govt killed him and the hatred for Fayemi's adminstration in not too good[/s]. I'm non partisan but Ajimobi may be arrogant but NO GOVERNOR in the history of Oyo State has done half of what he did in his 8 years administration. |
