^ Erm, gross. |
^ See how Samsung has gotten that guy in a bunch. |
I wonder what kind of message they are passing. Samsung is obviously burning bridges if you ask me. |
There I was feeling sorry for Samsung only for them to reveal their true intent: one of Samsung’s co-CEO recently stated that “"Smartphones and tablets based on Microsoft's Windows operating system aren't selling very well. There is a preference in the market for Android. In Europe, we're also seeing lackluster demand for Windows-based products." (http://www.engadget.com/2013/03/15/jk-shin-no-demand-windows-products/?hubRefSrc=email#lf_comment=63541480) The line in bold is far from the truth! WP8 is indeed gaining market share in Europe, besides Samsung hasn’t been marketing their Windows 8 based products like their android ones and yet they expect wonderful sales. Let them continue to cry like babies, they are expecting others to do the work for them while they scoop the rewards. Keep crying Samsung. |
timpaker: And i just got the S3 on monday... Can i return it, add an extra money and get the S4?Next time a little research before you make a purchase of this nature will be the right thing to do. I don't think that option of an upgrade is available in Nigeria. |
chucky234: I am just tired of changing phones simply because its new with improved software,RAM,camera quality and few inches added.Korean thieves? Just because you are broke doesn't mean you should go about throwing insults, nobody is forcing you to buy anything and if you think so then you must be one of the densest people on the continent. |
Some people are expecting that they will be served with a plate of jollof rice while they port their lines. ssshish |
walcolm: Did any body get a call from Airtel that they need to register their number again because Airtel lost the information in their database?I'd say watch it, that looks like the hatching of a scam right there. Don't fall for it. |
Windows 8 is certainly not a failure, yes there is something of a learning curve involved in getting to use it effectively, and that is what many will complain about but it offers huge gains; the ability to have the desktop experience on mobile. I don’t understand when people complain about using a mouse on metro, it seems all right with me and if it really was a problem then there is the option to switch back to desktop. It’s true that the PC market is shrinking; it’s a mature market with almost no room for growth. Where the possibilities lie for traditional PC makers is in adapting their offerings for the mobile world. MS is gunning to seamlessly merge the desktop and mobile experience, that’s their strategy with Win 8. |
~Bluetooth:You shouldn't be. Sleep is one the basic 4 point areas that ensure good health. 1. Eating Right 2. Drinking Water 3. Exercise 4. Sleep One can never do too much in taking care of one's body so measures like this should be taken seriously. I'll be looking forward to sleeping like a baby on the 15th after an intense workout. ![]() |
^ Why on earth would anyone be advocating for PC sales? People in the PC industry can't just fold their hands and watch the industry shrink to death. Samsung's Jung Dong Soo has every right to express his displeasure about Win 8 slow sales. As you rightly stated Samsung is not competing with MS - they are partners and they are doing so for profit, so slow Win 8 uptake means low returns for Samsung. In the battle between the Microsoft Surface and Apple's iPad, Apple is certainly winning and by a large margin too but I think that MS' strategy with Win 8, if executed properly, can turn things around significantly for MS. |
^ How is N160 a waste? N160 for one year service of unlimited messaging. |
^Does it live up to the ratings? |
berem: I have never seen anyone who whines more than Doctor Ifeanyichukwu on nairaland! WTF! Ermm, i think Seun should create a special section for "CRYING BABIES ". ![]() https://cdn.memegenerator.net/instances/250x250/36101975.jpg |

He married lady bad luck ![]() Dude should have stayed single ![]() |
In addition to No. 2 is paying for premium DSTV subscription when you are not really a hard core TV person. There's no point giving away your hard earned cash to a TV company for services you aren't using. |
Na wa o. lol |
Nostalgia: You speak from an angle which many Nigerians can readily identity with. However, lets also remember that there are others that have had it very easy since childhood. My cousin is one of them. I guess he wasn't made prepared for the life they're trying to force him into at present (i hope am speaking his mind here). Its not like he can hit the road running like you've been able to do. Question is; what if you had the same opportunity he presently has (buoyant parents), would you have still gone through life the way you did? Perhaps yes, perhaps not. Isn't there a way parents (provided they're capable) can be compelled to make that transition easy for their kids rather than just hands-off and say no more?Sooooooo in the end what is being asked here is how to make things easy for a 30 year old man (who is not disabled and is most likely reasonably educated) You've got jokes OP. Hahahahaha |
Nothing! ![]() Will have to fix that. |
To be honest that image doesn't look new; I thought I was looking at the S3 initially. So all that talk was true, Samsung was really copying Apple, now they've stolen Apple's lack of innovation. ![]() |
^ Ssheep? Fixing for a flame war are you? |
Erm, good news I guess Funny seeing team GEJ doing back flips here as though this is the ultimate result we all desire - this is just the beginning of a long process, one that that is long over due. |
sobastical: Lord have mercy, this is another way of making things easy for anti-christ....Another one. SMH |
^ Hmmmm. Our moderators. Hmmmmm |
The Walking Dead walk-through was INTERESTING. Loved it. I never saw the TV series, I'll have to check it out. Damn, there's tons of stuff I'm missing out on. |
Isn't this a task for hobbyists and tech geeks? Why would anyone without a thorough understanding of the technology want to do this? |
xoctic: Rapture is close, we re in end tym dats d reason 4 all dis. God save us o ![]() Luddite Its the advances in technology that signal the world is ending to you. I on the other hand suspected that it was the destruction of the English language with asinine abbreviations like "tym" and "dats" that heralded the impending apocalypse. |
Dude is in his zone again. ![]() |
