Kobojunkie: ^^ No dey mention that university at all. ![]() Why? |
4llerbuntu: Interesting that the OP did not even mention The LUMIA 900. yet some people on this NL have been telling us its the best thing since ponmo. anyway, since its almost free to get e no go dey affected shaThe Lumia 920 will go on sale in November, how will the iPhone 5's release affect a yet to be available phone? |
Some people are beginning to take the 'advice' on this forum too seriously. Either that or they place an unusually high value on them. Mr Okada-man comes home late after a battle with the police, his wife(the serial flasher) refuses to greet him as a result and now NLanders must pass judgement. Haba! |
Yes it is a crime. Stop looking for justification for living with your mama ![]() |
^Sleeping Dogs is one game I'd love to play. It is the spiritual successor of True Crimes, a game I enjoyed on the PS2. |
4llerbuntu: im not sure if WP will really grab the needed market share with just nokia. The line in bold caught my eye. What informed this observation? |
soft-touch:So people should commit suicide for speaking the truth. We hear you. |
4llerbuntu: gengen. 1-0No worries. I don't troll ![]() |
On behalf of you know who. TP, Thanks for the schooling. ![]() |
One of the neat features(or should I say accessories) I think the Lumia 920 comes with is its wireless charging speakers. Juicing up and blasting at the same damn time . Neat. Assuming the speakers are half decent then this immediately does away with the concern of getting external speakers, a problem I had when I got my iPhone. Its good to see Nokia is set to getting its groove back. |
Malicious rumours. To what end? |
Sahara Reporters is in overdrive. I'm not a fan Of GEJ or his government style but at the same time I think the motives of SR are suspect given the dubious stories that they report. My bet is that this recent report is false. |
Where is Ritchboy, aren't we going to have a PAX Prime 2012 thread or something? |
That trailer was soo silly ![]() |
You dey find trouble o ![]() You'd be surprised his crib is tricked out like those guys in the list. ![]() |
So why have fuel queues resurfaced in Abuja again? ![]() |
^ After mini vans they'd sue my front door for having a slide to unlock bolt. ![]() |
Copy. Combine. Transform. Those have been the steps that lead to innovation. Virtually all of the innovations that lie in history have followed these steps, from Gutenberg's printing press to Henry Ford's horseless carriage and even Apple's GUI in the late 70s. All those works borrowed from the ideas of others. Lawsuits and litigations disrupt this flow and stifle the innovative process. As has been pointed out severally Apple in its early days would have just closed shop had Xerox sued it for copying the GUI! I wonder what kind of innovation will result if no one was ever allowed to copy, that's basically asking to reinvent the wheel for any new product. Samsung's fears are justified, this lawsuit is a bad omen for innovation. |
Okija_juju: Okay... Dont y'all think its high time we opened a site for people to trade games both downloaded and CDS..There used to be such sites in the past, like Replay 9ja but it seems they went under. How would anyone trade/exchange downloaded games? And about your comment earlier about some games sell for as much as a $100 how is that possible if it's not a collector's edition ![]() |
Ah. Spec Ops of old. Sweet memories. . . Yeah it's possible to unlock the Echo missions without playing with a partner. I did it myself, you just have to complete the other missions Alpha,Beta and Charlie on Hardened and Veteran. Press on, you can do it. |
na2day!:Certainly. Until the patent laws - and copyright too! - are reformed these kinds of ridiculous lawsuits do nothing but shortchange customers. |
Its just plain stupid trolling, that's what it is. ![]() |
True, the patents in the Tokyo lawsuit are different - I'm sure in all the countries where Apple filed a lawsuit they'd have a different patent to cry about - but its obvious what Apple's intentions are; stifling the competition. Apple is coming off this looking very bad. |
Again I couldn't resist sharing this comment about the Tokyo court ruling this morning. (Apple lost its lawsuit in that country against Samsung)Japanese Courts: "sigh, really Apple? You know this isn't going to fly?" Apple: "Hey we had to try right? Our trial worked out pretty well in America didn't it?" Samsung: "It's all good because Japan knew what America won't admit. You're full of ish. Our S3s are selling out after the verdict anyways. Show us an iPhone that can do what the S3 does and then come talk to us." Apple: The S3 wouldn't exist if it weren't for us. It's a glorified KIRF. Suck it Samsung. We can give you 1 billion reasons why the iPhone is better than the S3. Where's our money you hacks? If we don't have a check waiting for us tomorrow.... Motorola: "Google called, they want their notification bar back. RIM is on hold, they want their BBM ripped iMessage KIRF back, the Ghost of Palm left a message saying iOS still isn't better than webOS and Dropbox is in the lobby laughing at iCloud. Apple: "Don't worry, we have lawsuits waiting for those clowns too. We have to protect our IP at all costs!" American Jury: Fair is fair, we agree with Apple. Besides, we went to a Gamestop and noticed the Nexus 70 with the GeeBees for $200 looked like an iPad and the bar of soap at Rite Aid was rectangular, so there might be some infringement there too. UK, Germany, Japan, South Korean Courts: *facepalm* -Elite MonsterHunter |
The last is yet to be heard about this patent battle Just saw on CNN breaking news that Apple loses patent claim against Samsung in a Tokyo district court. |
The rationale behind some of those facilities seem suspect. How was the Public Wifi meant to be sustained, by government allocations (and if so a waste of public funds) or some kind of profit driven arrangement. The Queens taxis didn't seem practical to me, it appeared like one of those "anyhow contract make boys chop" types. The taxis already looked difficult to maintain. We can only hope the other projects in the works, like the mono rail, will not end up like these ones. |
What are the perks that come with managing these types of funds ![]() |
Can't Buhari give up already. I certainly don't like GEJ but there's no way I'd vote for Buhari. |
I'm willing to bet that this info was lying about somewhere insecure and un-encrypted. |
BlueDiva: Since inception of this thread how many of us are now in Total? Is this not straight up player-hatin'? The folks here are asking questions about job positions with Total and somehow this draws you to make spiteful comments? The facade of concern for people to get out of dreamland can only hold for so long. People who take your position are usually driven by something ulterior. |
And what was the boy doing when he saw the python crawl up to him. Did he think the python wanted to whisper sweet nothings in his ear? What about the person who took the picture of the camera man and the boy? This could all possibly be staged. |
joanana: In ya dreams... cos dats not gonna happenThe drawing could possibly end up "stolen" or I could be sued by Apple ![]() |
