ANY-PEN :So it doesn't matter whether people are inconvenienced or not as long as it's your favorite artiste? |
Question now is what is an acceptable percentage of implementation? |
KINGwax: were gidi ni e. You no be nigerian again? I knw u go prefer 30 minutes of turbulence in the air to 8 minutes of entertainment so dt people shld knw u jes flew!Quit being a wiseacre. If all the passengers on the flight agreed that Femi should perform then no problem. Should anyone have objected then that would be unfair to say the least. Many of us Nigerians have little understanding of the concept of consideration. |
The Games section needs to wake up from hibernation, nothing seems to happening here these days other than the game merchants selling their wares. |
After IBB and co condemns Boko Haram Mr Clark should condemn MEND. As if all these condemnations achieve anything. |
I won't be surprised if Femi and his crew just got up and started disturbing the peace all in the name of entertainment, afterall churches do it all the time in my neighborhood causing a racket under the guise of worship. It is, unfortunately, a Nigerian thing. ![]() |
Maybe Theodore Orji needs his own 40 laptop crew, the current PR guys just come up with pathetic threads every time. |
OP So the what's the point of this thread? Is it to cast the Indians in bad so Nigeria can shine? ![]() |
Does it mean that if we lose to the Americans that D'tigers are out? All I want is for them to come back with a medal. |
Fhemmmy: We will borrow Osama's slang . . .YES, WE CAN!Obama you mean ![]() |
The article is stretching it there by calling this the first "engineering college" (read vocational college) but I commend Fashola for this development. |
Erm, can anyone here put up screen shots of the new Outlook.com ? |
Theodore Orji a.k.a Mr "My hands are tied." a.k.a "My commissioners (who I selected and appointed) are rogues" |
Are people still braying about 3 straight days of electricity? |
. |
Lordave: How can a well knowledged human being believe these feeble lies? How can you make such a statement? Provide evidence to counter the doctor's or are you the type that wants to see only what pleases them? |
DerMeister: Must he take the sow with him??I say let him travel, it has been proven that his presence makes no change whatsoever. ![]() |
Let's all come back here,Heaven willing, in say October and see how well this so called improvement is faring then maybe we can allow ourselves to shout for joy. I would love to see steady power supply everywhere and personally have no problem with team GEJ claiming that as a victory as long as this improvement is lasting. |
Rossikk: ^^^If you weren't stup.id and brainless you would note that 3 days straight power supply in Nigeria signifies a shift and an improvement in the nation's power supply profile. But then again, you've never contributed a farthing to the benefit of the country in your miserable existence. What kind of bare faced lie is this? 3 days of straight power signifies a shift and an improvement?? That's how low you have set the bar eh? I'll advise you to go and modify your post so that you don't look like a dolt who will tell an incredible lie so as not to lose an argument. |
It is laughable how GEJ apologists are calling this week long improvement in power supply as one of the achievements of this government. I recall a similar thread started sometime last year by Werepelei(sp?) where various Nlanders were reporting ecstatically about the same thing here. I think many people here are just naive. Let this improvement last till year end and let it be confirmed from all over the country not just big cities before team GEJ can claim this as an achievement. |
We've been down this road before. I was one of those who rushed to NL to rejoice over increased electricity supply to my home in 2009 only to see the situation revert to the 'status quo' a few months later. Same thing happened again in 2010. True, my generator is not being used much these days but I'll wait and see if this actually is the new state of affairs or a trend that will hold for only a few months. Only then will I join in singing praises. |
wesley80: ^No, you regale us with proof of their endless failures before inundating us with incurable pessimism.Even with all the concerns raised above you remain optimistic. Seriously? |
I am of the view that the menace of Islamic militants should be dealt with wherever it rears its head. Since this move to send troops to Mali is part of a regional effort and not a solo act by Nigeria it should be encouraged. It is sickening to see people use their own version of a religion to cause trouble for others. |
afam4eva: I've said it that Arsenal will go on relegation this coming season. That's what is said at the beginning of every season. And yet such predictions fail repeatedly. ![]() |
^^ Luke Angel's ban from the US was as a result of sending an insulting email to the white house. It was not for making abusive remarks on any social media. . .unless you consider email as social media. |
OP Your write up would have passed for half decent if you hadn't put up that picture of T.A Orji. His image at the bottom gives the impression that this is some veiled sycophantic effort. We are not in North Korea where citizens have to be bamboozled into worshiping the "great leader". ![]() |
dedeike: Women for change initiative set out to empower women to vie for elective positions ahead of the 2011 general elections. Given the results of the last elections, it is obvious that this initiative really achieved its purpose. You have not demonstrated how the activities of this initiative actually brought about a change. It can easily be assumed that the 'increased' engagement of women in politics came about through other means and not necessarily by the efforts of this pet project. Oh wait, anyone who is a blind sycophant of the current government can make those claims. |
Hugoboi: Social media is now a problem because Nigerians have become aware of the shenanigans of their leaders. I'm not surprised at the quote above. Its obvious the poster will never see anything wrong with his paymasters even if it they end up ravaging the country to death. Imagine the lame Obama excuse!!+ 1000 |
Beaf: US security services regularly haul in people who make demeaning or threatening statements on the web for questioning (or more). The Nigerian constitution is tailored after the US one, so why not do the same thing? The bolded line above is a straight up lie. Let Beaf provide evidence of the US hauling people for making demeaning statements about its leaders on the web. What David Mark is calling for is akin to what the likes of Libya, Syria, North Korea and Iran embarked on at some point(or are still doing). It smacks of totalitarianism and dictatorship. I'm shocked that our senate president is making such a call. |
Muniru A: If u're using light without meter they can charge u l#4000-#6000 for a single rum or rum and parlour; b4 it was at d range of #1500-#2500/3000. The amount's just too much, esp when condering d hours given to use d light.Your misuse of abbreviations is appalling! It won't cost you anything to spell out words correctly and you will also avoid the danger of being misunderstood. |
Booty4me: op Nice foRMAT....The is letter riddled with spelling errors and you are calling it nice? No mention is even made of the ridiculous line about players playing for petrol and a British wife. |
