Trying to set up a Personal Hotspot on my iphone but I get the message: "To enable Personal Hotspot on this account, contact Carrier." Any ideas? |
This one has secured her place among the recipients of this year's NYSC national awards and will most likely clinch a job in the federal civil service. Going for a masters degree or even a Ph.D should pose little problems as recipients of this award are also offered government scholarship. . .Such is the nature of this not well known award, she shouldn't worry about her future. |
Capt.Barbosa:That's what I hear and it is indeed good news. I haven't been in PH since January so I look forward to seeing these developments next time I visit. Kudos to Amaechi. |
Yay!!! |
^ Was going to say same. Anyone with that amount of money will definitely not be looking for a 1999 model Accord. The OP should get real. |
cogitoErgo: may be its the amphibian section of the bokoharam, lol! and was there a tsunamis? our own african govtmnent neva said anythng o, maybe its american propanganda, dey wan tell us say quake dey here too?Without fail someone has to play the propaganda card. Typical. |
^^ It is a pity that everyone is entitled to an opinion regardless of how screwed it is. Nonsense. |
I didn't know TP doubles as a game dealer these days ![]() |
I'm having problems with iMessage too! Can't seem to send iMessages to friends who use idevices even when they have their iMessage enabled. Are Nigerian numbers not recognised or what? |
Two for the price of one eh? ![]() Now add some milk to that and beat the eggs for scrambled eggs. |
As long as any foreign article doesn't shower praise on Nigeria and its citizens then it must be propaganda and its author must be a "slave journalist". Heaven forbid that any such article raise issues that should lead us as a nation to moments of introspection. We must not let these foreigners corrupt us with blunt description of present realities;they are after our oil, besides, our delusions of our self importance and misplaced priorities is enough for us. After all there is nothing wrong with our great country let us continue on our present path and shun any opportunity to reform ourselves in areas that really matter. People need to change their attitudes in this country, this us-against-the-world outlook is played out and stale. |
Comments here are nothing short of amazing angelz: l wish l can hear from ur wife b4 l draw my conclusion. davidylan: pele mr Jay, Sh..t happens sometimes. chaircover: Actually it is ego and pride on both sides; How was the OP supposed to have brought back home an unwilling adult woman - by a presidential order or should he have used a lasso? |
^ Conscience gamer. I respect that though. |
As it's the norm on Nairaland, the OP is being held responsible for his wife being touched (whatever that means) by another man. Somethings will never change. |
^^ I just did a recheck and yeah there are more cities than the three I listed earlier, like Calabar and Enugu. Still I wonder why Abuja isn't listed. ![]() |
Saw this video and thought it would make a fitting addition to this thread. [flash]http://www.youtube.com/feature/player_embedded&v=fZoqW-GEdQM[/flash] . I used to be be able to post videos here but somehow this one didn't work. |
You too Musiwa? They've been trying to frame me too |
It is rather disappointing that the weather app on the iPhone does not have any weather report for Abuja the capital of Nigeria. The only cities in Nigeria that the app has reports for are Kano, Port Harcourt and Lagos. |
4llerbuntu: hmmn quite amusing. Will certainly get a kick doing the bolded. Blast those touts to smithereens. ![]() |
Oyb didn't exactly give away details of how the game ended, so it's OK if he didn't indicate spoiler alert. Meanwhile the people campaigning for Bioware to remake the ending of ME3 are wasting their time, Bioware appears set in its ways. ![]() |
Nobody's Pefect by J.Cole feat Missy Elliot. Track is on repeat. ![]() |
I don't think setting a game in the Niger Delta with all the violence that the region is infamous for would keep me from buying or playing it as long as it has a decent storyline. Many other games have used known places in their stories too so I guess most gamers have since been 'desensitised' to this. Still I think I can understand the concern the OP has in this regard. Certain gamers might find such a setting distasteful just as I did find 'No Russian' in MW2 offensive and never completed that stage. Another thing that some gamers may frown upon is using a current war or an on-going conflict in a game. |
Imagine Facebook doing away with its traditional blue and white theme or google without its brilliant white look. There should be a certain sense of consistency on Nairaland, this new look is rather distasteful and does nothing to strengthen the image users have of this site. |
Goodness have mercy!! You've just killed all the English teachers in the world. |
rafhell: “In terms of security challenges, we have some parts of the country where we have terrorist attacks, but it does not affect the whole country. We are in reasonable control. We have the belief that in the middle of this year; in terms of security of individuals, we will have full control. The danger is limited to some parts of the country. It does not extend to other parts of country,” he further said. Can Mr president honestly look himself in the mirror and believe that his government is in reasonable control of the terrorism that currently plagues Nigeria? If so one would hate to see what unreasonable control would look like. |
Richfella: Vodafone Ghana! Can you beat that?Men that is something. If only I can get half of that speed at home. |
Where exactly did Mr. Wales conduct his speed test? If it was in the premises of an ISP then that is quite believable – or maybe an ISP provided internet connection for the conference. Getting that amazing bandwidth successfully to the last mile is a whole different story, one that many frustrated internet users, like yours truly, are tired of retelling. |
Danka7777: We know this type of gimmick. This is a precursor to the invasion of Nigeria. The pretext would be: to protect American Citizens on ground! Nigerians shine your eyes, these people don't give a damn about black people. Anything they do is for media gains and their own selfish global interests. If they really do care about Nigerians and blacks as they claim to, they say charity begins at home right, let them start from the blacks in America who have lived under absolute subjugation in America for the past almost 400 yrs, since 1620.Where do you people pick up this kind of damaged reasoning? |
Na wa o. I'm not the grammar nazi but you should at least spell the name of the car correctly; it's a Porsche Cayenne. |
There goes Tofa's last investment. Pity |
