Damalex4luv:Make I no watch TV again or make phone calls because some silly senator was embarrassed overseas? Big f-ing deal. Get real |
When the next ipad is released after this one will they will call it the "newer ipad"? Whats up with their nomenclature? |
xtremeidea:You say that like Anonymous is some sort of super being. If they could have done it they would have already. |
betty009:What is this, American 419? |
Mobinga:I don't get, you have a problem with the size? |
The government agency trying to regulate the internet? One wonders if the people behind this move have considered how ridiculous this sounds. In effect what they want to do is extend their reach into a resource which as a whole or taken separately has no proprietor, belongs to no state, organization or physical person. Maybe it is the drive to generate some revenue for itself that the NBC is considering this but by doing so they are stepping into murky regulatory waters which other countries have so far not found a safe course to chart. Or maybe this is just an archaic agency looking for relevance in the 21st century, either way, it's a damnable idea. |
^ Fine. Don't just spam this place. Thanks |

I did get the DSTV app successfully but getting it to work might require some other effort. It says it is unable to connect to decoder, do I have to be with a decoder for it to work? Will look at it properly later though. |
tumababa:In the Apple realm TP is like a celestial being visiting lower mortals to lead them from their errors- but only when the high priests (sun temi, tumababa etc) are unavailable ![]() |

ayo jango:Typical. Like our Nigerian owned Glo and HiTV offer any better services. A diplomatic spat and many Nigerians are salivating because of their fantasy to reap where they did not sow. We have more pressing issues to address as a country starting a cold war isn't one. |
Beaf:Spare us the soap opera. While I am not in support of Nigerians being treated badly overseas I will not hesitate to call our leader off their high horse. All this hot air they are blowing because of this incident could easily have been channeled to areas that will benefit Nigerians significantly. In the end the only victory here is that the country's ego (if one can call it that) is stroked. How about, for instance, NASS ensure that our own local border issues are dealt with with the same amount of vigor. . .There are a 1001 ways, other than this, to display patriotism.
Hmmm, why is the nigerian govt up in arms i wonder. There's definitely more to this than meets the eye. Is this the first time nigerians have been deported from somewhere, or does nigeria have a unilateral or cultic agreement with south africa to allow nigerians unrestricted access and open borders to the country. And has it occurred to them to upgrade their yellow fever vaccination protocol (like actually obtain the vaccines for instance) since its quite obvious an epidemic may be in the offing.
Probably because a member of our distinguished senators was among the people treated badly by the South Africans as one account suggests? |
Akanniade:I personally know some former classmates of mine who are doing just that. Little wonder why our country has a bad rep internationally. |
When it comes to grandstanding our people will not be found wanting, now if only this zeal as displayed here is directed to where it really matters; ensuring that our borders are properly monitored and that the entry of aliens are properly checked then perhaps our security problems will be no more. Aboki allow us in South handle our issues.
Mr Kayci you should know better than resort to misinformation and name calling. |
This is interesting, it probably goes to show the regard (or lack of) which the Edo people have for PDP. They will have a hard time unseating Oshiomole. |
Suit yourself. I find such talk like "without us they would be nothing" repulsive especially when it comes to foreigners and multinationals. If we are really all that we would have come up with our own coys/solutions to meet our needs. |
The new breed of militants are short of targets now abi? Nice try Mr Benedict. |

WTH? My phone stays on. |
Before people will arrive and twist this story to one of corruption and embezzlement they should realize that there are indeed legitimate reasons( i.e paying of wages/salaries etc) as to why the state budget is N1.5 billion short. |

A ridiculous idea to say the least. We will be on the internet using Nairaland and Facebook like there was no tomorrow. ![]() |
Again Fashola is making great strides in governance. Haters are going to have a fit soon. |
joe george:The only reasonable answer to the question I asked earlier even though I suspect it is just a penchant for reporters to hastily conclude that the explosion was carried out with a dynamite. The other wiseacres would have just kept quiet instead of displaying their ignorance (about a matter that didn't even concern them) |
I don't think many folks here realise that the OP is asking which of the TV types is best for the PS3. Any decent LCD TV that can handle images at 1080p will be able to perform just as good as any LED. How many people here can honestly identify the difference? |
Not if he's telling the truth and has evidence to back up his story. He would be the one to do the suing and be compensated in a well-run society.
I don't think so. The OP expressly refers to the rice as a killer, and that is very strong wording. Besides he has to prove that it is solely the rice that caused his stomach upset and not perhaps something he had eaten or drank prior to that. Otherwise as I said earlier the restaurant may consider this as defamation. |
Just because the rice didn't sit well with your stomach doesn't make it a killer. What you have done here can easily be interpreted as libel or defamation and could very likely attract legal action if your identity was known. |
Trust me, the gains are not marginal my friend especially with a full back-lit LED TV
Unless you have some type of bionic eyesight I doubt that a regular viewer will notice any significant gains in LED TVs as opposed to LCDs. ![]() |
A 10-hour cut-scene? Hmmm, well that alone dispels rumors that it is a 5 hours game. I see that the game has been given a Metascore of 73. |
Tragic A small question though: how come every time explosives are used during any incident in PH the press is quick to identify it as dynamite. How did they arrive at this identification? Do criminals have a rule of using only dynamites in Rivers state? I recall that during the heydays of the Niger Delta militancy, it was reported that dynamites were used in all if not most of the attacks. How come?
