Just to be clear, here is a quote of the choice words that were employed on that thread, which even went beyond the common, "accursed." Yet demdem was still posting merrily after the thread had been "cleared." Enlightening stuff: Demdem:
Ozin your profile shows you are living in Australia, Why cant you arrange ashy for Retardeen even if na transsexual you get for am dayokanu:. . .Gbawe, your master was upset and trying to convince me that ACN is not a party of thugs in the mould of the slapping governor Aregbesola! What more proof do we need than the quotes above. They are straight out of the gutter and blended in ways only thugs could come up with. All Hail ACN!!! Party of thugs! |
OAM4J:How can I show you my posts that you have deleted? How would that work, sir? And by the way, what would I gain by falsely accusing you? Are you saying you have never seen any thread where demdem has called me accursed for the several months that you have been a mod? Are you going to claim that dayokanu has never told you to clear up a thread, which you did by deleting my posts? Why should dayokanu be the one to tell you to clear up threads? The exchange below sounds really poor (it also provides a brilliant example of a thread you "cleaned up" by removing my pics and leaving the ones others posted): dayokanu: Hi oamjhttps://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-490918.2400.html#msg9444679 OAM4J: ^ Thread Unlocked!https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-490918.2400.html#msg9444679 This is the thread in question, you can easily see the pics that were left after the so-called "clearing up" above, and also the sort of choice language that was employed on that thread: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-791838.128.html#msg9443837 |
What is going on in the SW? These raids are getting more brazen with each passing day; the weapons they employ are also rapidly increasing in sophistication. The FG better send in more security services to solve the problem and protect folk in the SW, before these armed robberies turn into something else. |
I think what is missing are more names. It seems the SSS is doing things in step, Modu Sheriff (ANPP) has not been picked up, whereas Ndume (PDP) has. Its just my hunch, but I believe they will pick out the top PDP people involved before closing the net on all others. Is there a political boko haram? Of course, we saw the coup taking place with the execution of Yusuf's followers on the streets in broad daylight; that was the day boko haram siezed to be about some misguided religion and took on the toga of terrorism. |
manny4life:The above is precisely what has happened, the GEJ has jettisoned the bill and washed FG hands off it, so the House of Rep has to find means to pay it from wherever it can. In many ways, its a good thing, because they will likely end up bankrupt and Nigerians will be able to dictate away their huge salaries for doing zilch. |
IG:Modu Sheriff who started boko haram is an ANPP man (and so was Ndume until some months ago). That totally rubbishes everything you said above. You people need to look really deep within your souls, because it isn't any political party, but YOU, the everyday people and your born to rule users. |

I'll wait for the case against other people. Arresting opposition figures on trumped up charges is not new to our politics. SSS screens Ndume’s, Sheriff’s call logs By Yusuf Alli, Abuja23 minutes ago SECURITY agents are screening the call logs of Senator Ali Ndume, former Governor Modu Ali Sheriff and the late Ambassador Saidu Pindar who were implicated by some suspects as backers of the dreaded Boko Haram Islamic sect. The State Security Service (SSS) is also on the trail of more suspects. Ndume’s detention has raised anxiety among Senators. His mobile telephone’s call logs are being screened to determine whether he is a member of a syndicate or not. A source said: “We have started a comprehensive investigation of the call logs of these bigwigs, based on the confession of one of the key suspects in our custody. “We are not closing investigation with these three suspects already implicated. “We are suspecting a network of backers; we have to unmask others so that we can address this issue once and for all. We know that the call logs will reveal more.” Responding to a question, the source, who pleaded not to be named because of what he called the matter’s sensitive nature, added: “We may have cause to interact with more high-profile suspects soon.” It was gathered that many senators were shocked by their colleague’s arrest. A Senator said: “You can see that no segment of the society is immune from the Boko Haram menace. No one is saying that Ndume is guilty. “It calls for concern that your colleague in the same chamber with you is being implicated in security breaches of this magnitude.” Another Senator said: “I am scared but what the SSS did has shown that we are getting closer to the roots of this Boko Haram menace.” Another Senator said: “It is too early to pronounce Ndume guilty, but one thing I have noticed about him in the chamber is that each time Boko Haram matter came up, he was always advising us to discuss behind closed doors. “There was a day one of our colleagues challenged him on why he was always favouring closed-door sessions.” The Nation learnt yesterday that security agencies had been on the trail of the Senator for some time. It was gathered that the SSS decided to break the news after reaching a “convenient bend”. http://www.thenationonlineng.net/2011/index.php/news/27264-sss-screens-ndume%E2%80%99s,-sheriff%E2%80%99s-call-logs.html |

Gbawe:I'm sure your English name is dunce (in capital letters). Lol! The wikileaks article you posted as evidence does not mention the word "sponsor" even once! Secondly, it doesn't even mention boko haram even once! Why are you fooling yourself and your weak battery? Why would Tinubu deny being a boko haram sponsor based on an article that says he recieved help from al qaeda? Surely, those are two completly different things even to the Worlds most unintelligent. No? Logic, sir! Logic! Its missing from your limp arsenal. ![]() Al qaeda and Tinubu. . . Dat one na anoda angle sha! The question remains; why did Tinubu deny being a boko haram sponsor without being accused? |
I didn't even know the unrefined clown had come whining here because he is finally getting replies from me, after months of ignoring his gutter bred insults. Funny! @Mukina I have reported Demdem on quite a few occasions for abusing my parents and calling me accursed (which I have ignored for several months until recently), but nothing has ever happened. In fact, OAM4j has been known to delete my replies and leave demdems insults (as well as dayokanu's foolish pics) in place like he never saw them. Some other NLers have hinted that demdem and his group are in some inner circle that can act as they wish without sanction; it really is hard to imagine that no mod has seen the crassness of demdems posts over the last few months. What sort of adult makes such posts? Demdem:https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria?topic=808572.msg9606842#msg9606842 |
I will not be surprised if PDP goes ahead to use their newly found SSS investigative chutzpah against opposition parties. The story go soon change, I won't be shocked. No be PDP?
In many ways, it seems you fellows are scared that members of the opposition will be arrested. Of course, they will and it wouldn't be the first time either, so this hollow screaming and shabby attempts at politicising the investigation before the event are a big fail.Anybody found to be involved in boko haram will be picked up, no matter who or how big they are; GEJ has proven he can pick up members of his own party, so let others be ready. Afterall, the men arrested and arraigned for the Suleija and Niger state bombings were high rankers in CPC, also Ali Modu Sheriff and a few others are in ANPP etc. I really wonder?. . . Tinubu denied being a sponsor of boko haram the other day without even being accused! Hmmm! moshoodn:Investigating boko haram is an international effort, it is not just the SSS alone. For example, the US has been helping Nigeria to trace boko haram's funding with the wealth of expertise they have gathered from chasing al qaeda. It's almost certain that all the main sponsors would have been known for months, but without corroborating evidence you cannot make arrests; Ndume's case seems to be the first one with good back up evidence (the confession of Konduga), lets pray that his investigation is handled intelligently, so that more people of his rank and higher can be brought in. Ndume has pleaded not guilty today, but that is to be expected since he was arrested just yesterday. He cannot possibly know the full case against him, he might yet squeal under questioning. |
How Bankole, Nafada obtained loan, by EFCC By Kamarudeen Ogundele, Abuja Nafada and Bankole A Witness of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Mohammed, yesterday told an Abuja High Court how former Speaker of the House of Representative Dimeji Bankole, obtained a N42billion loan from two banks and shared allowances among members. The prosecution witness also accused Bankole of approving the increase in the allowances of his colleagues from N17 million to N42 million per member in a quarter without the authorisation of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and National Salaries, Income and Wages Commission. Mohammed, an investigation officer with EFCC, was testifying in the suit filed by the commission against Bankole and his erstwhile deputy, Bayero Usman Nafada. They are facing a 17-count charge of criminal breach of trust, dishonest use of a House of Representatives bank account to obtain loan filed against them by the EFCC. The former Speaker was represented by Mr Wale Akanni (SAN). Bankole and Nafada are accused of sharing the loan to members without the consent and approval of the RMAFC and the extant Revised Financial Regulations of the Federal Government of Nigeria, 2009. The offences are contrary to sections 97(1), 286 and 311 of the Penal Code Act, Cap 532, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria (Abuja) 1990, and punishable under Sections 287 and 315 of the same Penal Code Act. Led-in-evidence by the prosecution counsel, Festus Keyamo, Mohammed said the allowances paid to the House members were not captured in last year’s budget. He said the alleged fraud was planned at a meeting Bankole chaired in his house, adding that the minutes of the meeting would be tendered as an exhibit to prove that the accused conspired to defraud the government. http://www.thenationonlineng.net/2011/index.php/news/27148-how-bankole-nafada-obtained-loan-by-efcc.html |
realchange:Our police force is bad, but the principle of sourcing EFCC bosses from there is a good one. The EFCC's job is about criminal investigations and a novice picked of the street will quickly flounder in that environment. I would like to know one country where the police chief is not a career person; that concept is quite new to me. I also think you are wrong that we can't find an incorruptible nigerian police officer at that level. What about men like Marvel Akpoyibo? |

Govs Bid to Secure Soft Landing for Sylva in Troubled Waters 22 Nov 2011 https://serving.thisdaylive.com/0bef99d6-acf5-4e2c-9779-8fa02ba3fcd4/assets/Timipre-Sylva-0209.jpg?maxwidth=400&maxheight=540 Governor Timipre Sylva By Ahamefula Ogbu What appears to be an option B for embattled Governor Timipre Sylva in getting a soft landing over the faceoff with the Peoples Democratic Party in Bayelsa State seems to be in troubled waters again as a parley organised by some influential governors to ensure damage control Tuesday failed to yield fruitful results. A delegation of eight governors led by Chairman of the Governors Forum, Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi met President Goodluck Jonathan behind closed doors for upwards of an hour at the First Lady’s wing of the Villa but came out with long faces and refused to disclose their mission and the outcome. Sylva, who was the first to emerge from the inner recess of the office, tersely refused to respond to reporters’ questions and with smiles, referred them to Amaechi, who he said was the Chairman and authorised to speak for them. "My Chairman (Amaechi) will speak to you. I think my chairman will tell you that (about Bayelsa). He is the only one authorized to talk to you. Chairman of the Governors' Forum will talk to you," Sylva parried. When Amaechi was met by reporters, he appeared not too happy and claimed ignorance of the issue the newsmen approached him to comment on, stating that he was in the Vila to meet with the President on issues that bother Rivers State. He stated that he was not under obligation to discuss what he went to see the President for over his State as he had the right to meet with the President, and insisted that he did not know about the issue on Bayelsa State he was being asked. Reminded that he could not have come to discuss issues with the President that concern Rivers State with his other colleagues, he denied coming with them, insisting that they came to see the President individually and on their own problem. Amaechi referred the newsmen to his Jigawa counterpart, Alhaji Sule Lamido for more answers which was an indication that they decided not to share the topic and outcome of the meeting but met briefly outside and conferred in groups and in low tunes. Other Governors present at the parley were Jonah Jang of Plateau State, Liyel Imoke of Cross River State, Ahmed Abdulfatai of Kwara State, Saidu Dakingari of Kebbi and Patrick Yakowa of Kaduna state. |
Poor core-Northerners living in cuckoo land! PDP indeed! Something tells me that you guys are deeply scared that either Buhari, IBB or Atiku is going "dan." lol! |

Yes, I have said it numerous times that I and a couple of others were chased by head hunters in Ilorin. They play very sweet music on their drums. DO NOT INVESTIGATE. And stay indoors until the season is over. |
^ Gaddem! Amosun has done AD, PDP, ANPP and now ACN! lol! |
lucabrasi:Exactly! Ndume is tha last person anybody would have expected to be a boko haram lord. The man seemed so upright and straightforward. There were two things that rang alarm bells for me about his character just before the last elections, though. The first was when he said a couple of things about GEJ which were patently false and unexpected from a person of his (now debased) moral standing; secondly, after describing PDP in the most condescending terms, he promptly left ANPP and crossed over to PDP, with just weeks to go before the elections! |
dustydee:Hypocrisy, sir! ![]() You aren't making any sense, because all parties consist of ex-PDP members. If PDP is that bad, why the rush for its rejects? It is the crass hypocrisy of CPC on display here, scrambling for a PDP "reject and social pervert," while preaching a hypocritical "anti-corruption" stance to the ignorant and the gullible. |
egift:Lol! We can always expect such gutter behaviour from the followers of gutter leaders who encourage the killing of youth corpers after losing elections. The gospel of 9ja, chapter 5, verse 1: And so it was was that gutter, begetteth gutter; scum, begetteth scum and agbero begetteth agbero. Like leader, like follower. ![]() Shame. |

This is Rhino.5dm expressing his love for boko haram. This is an excerpt from a thread he created that basically hero worshipped Mohammed Yusuf, the founder of boko haram as "a cool guy."
And thier reasons??. . . Illegal clamping, jailing and continue detention of their members without any recourse to justice, ordered by the state government. This was done purposely to satisfy “other” high ranking Islamic scholars in the state (pseudo-political scholars) with different ideology and doctrine. Before this, there was the incident of refusal of allowing them to continue practicing their faith in the state. The slain leader of Boko Haram was a cool guy (No pun intended), which can be invited to ANY discussion without any hesitant or refusal. From my personal study and understanding the motive of the group, I won’t be far from the truth if I say the group came out to protest against the long failure of northern political oligarchy, which has violated every opportunity to transform and educate their masses. I have listen and watched Yusuf (slain Boko Haram) leader defending his ideology, which I think to some extent is mainly trying to create awareness to the crime of the politicians.
https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-762548.0.html Very dangerous statements indeed, no one describes terrorists as "cool guys." It shows the sort of cold blooded traitor we are dealing with here. |
pDude:I sincerely hope you do not post out of childishness or stup!dity. Let Rhino.5dm defend himself, or are you another admirer of boko haram? |
