Genbuhari3:If I were you, I would support Ribadu (even better, GEJ); since that sort of character attracts you. Buhari should be in either jail or the gallows, if not that our system had been "anything goes" before GEJ's advent, he whouldn't have had the opportunity, guts or freedom to contest any office in Nigeria. The man is a criminal. Expect that gate to shut forever after April, that he didn't get an honour at the Independence ceremony is a stark pointer. That man must go to jail for his crimes; from treason to murder. |
Orikinla:He cannot. He refused to run as VP, because he was scared that his contracts would be used against him. That said, we must give it to him for showing visible performance, however thats no excuse for profligacy and mortgaging future generations of Lagosians. It would seem that so much tax revenue has been raised only to subsidise the acquisition of choice assets by powerful ACN members. Lagos seems to have been sold to a few people and the money is oiling a new mafia that is sophisticated and dangerous. |
10cirenoh:You are such a clown, but then NL has a way of springing surprises each time science reckons that the peak of stupeedity has been reached. You asked for proof of what GEJ did for Bayelsa, I gave you rock hard, incontestable proof of not only planning and implementation, but clear vision as well. And what do you do? You get angry like you're gonna die!!!!!! ![]() The truth is like nivaquine sha. Na wa o! Anyway one has to wonder what the dimwits in ACN were thinking of that they had to narrow down all of their research to one state (guess which and whose). Where are the results for other states? Hehe! ACN is beginning to put Ciroma to shame with their disgraceful ethnically bigoted politics. . . I'm sure there's something you're dying to say, go on then, say "***chukwu" so that you can be confirmed as the ethnic bigot and shallow pit you are. |
Genbuhari3:Doh! Was Soyinka not in SNG with Bakare? Did they not stand shoulder to shoulder at several rallies? This is the very worst indictment against Bakare. Soyinka knows the mans politics more than we do, and he isn't impressed. Ribadu is a million times better than Buhari, its just that his candidacy is premature and unrealistic this time. |
Good news! One less thief in the country. However, there needs to be renewed and sustained pressure on the criminals tha think they can steal with impunity. Abagworo:Funny claim. Is he the only one to have left PDP? Anyways, PDP seems to be doing a good job of purging bad practices out of its system and the party has been haemorrhaging criminals who are fleeing to parties with lesser morals. |
Pataki:Dude, you are the dimwit for defending a drug pushing rascal. This is so bloody funny!!! ![]() GEJ gaffed we know, so what? Is someone gonna die? . . .But, Tinubu is a drug pushing rascal. Live with it! www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 www.nairaland.com/attachments/139268_BolaTinubuHeroinforfeiture_jpgb084d334c74cec7150ee9588a3aed2fc |
If he is found with cows even in his state, he should be shot. Or there are no farmers in Sokoto? This has nothing to do with states. This is purely property rights. If a Fulani man wants to buy a 1000 hectare estate to wander his cattle on and graze, fine by me. At that point, it is his property, he can do whatever the fck he wants. But even in Sokoto, you should not violate property rights.
Property rights is one area where Nigeria is backward beyond belief. You need to read the land use act and weep for the country. It is the duty of each and every one of us to fight for the upholding of individual property rights, it is difficult to fathom how the FG can claim to own all undeveloped land. The land use act is part of the reason for the nomadic menace from cattle rearers. |
When a man equates the life of a cow with those of several humans, what worth is he to society? The FG needs to view these herdsmen as a security threat, nobody knows where some of them are from (Chad, Niger, Sudan etc) and in this days of bombings, with the low cost of human life to them, they would form easy recruiting grounds for terrorism, even suicide bombing. Nomadic herding MUST be eradicated in Nigeria. |
You have to look at the other side of a coin, banning them is not the solution more especially with our inept government, The truth is, the government should give them what belongs to them, grazing areas and put eyes on them, thats all!!!
What sort of joke is this? Its strange the way you think the same govt that siezes land and waterways in the ND to finance the country should turn around and hand land to Fulani herdsmen. You got jokes dude! I say, ban the fvkers from their stone age nomadic lifestyles, give them id cards, restrict them to their states and let their state govs give the wretches land to graze. They can't keep wandering across Nigeria and killing people (even babies) like they barbaric hoards without the slightest inkling of morality and civilisation. If any Fulani herdsman is found with cows outside his state, he should be shot like an armed robber. |
Chengdu J-20 Behold the Chinese rival to the F-22 Raptor and T-50. Given its traditional policy of aircraft manufacturing, China will most likely create a functional analogue of foreign-made 5G planes that will cost 50% to 80% less than Russian and U.S. models. China will most likely sell the plane in Central Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Southeast Asia, as well as to the richest African countries.http://en.rian.ru/analysis/20101229/161986565.html Chengdu J-20 ground test from December 2010http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chengdu_J-20 https://sitelife.aviationweek.com/ver1.0/Content/images/store/14/8/7ee42457-7030-4864-9876-c286f6499e09.Full.jpg https://www.chinasignpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/J-20-underside_CDF_16-Jan-2011.jpg Specificationshttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chengdu_J-20 |
Well, Since Nigeria is not ripe enough for a sweeping knife-them-all Revolution. I'll concede that any democratically elected leader will need to work with at least a few of these laggards. But working with them or accommodating them while you push for change will be easier if they do not have the kind of influence they seem to have in PDP. People like Anenih, OBJ, Alams(I consider him a nonentity small fry though) and a host of other establishment career kingmakers have too much power in PDP. I want GEJ to work on getting rid of those f.ools. They believe Nigeria belongs to them and their descendants and if you understand how addictive power is, you will realize that preaching to these people or tolerating them will not change that mindset. I've read about the PIB, I'm glad Shell and co hates it( I like almost everything Big Oil hates)but I will wait for it to pass before I celebrate, actually I will wait ten years after it's implementation before I celebrate. I'm not really worried about those initiatives. I'm sure GEJ can pass a few bills and ruffle a few feathers but you and I know that our country needs revolutionary, radical, structural changes. I'm not convinced GEJ will be allowed to make those changes. I'm not sure he's radical enough to resist those who benefit from the status quo. I may be wrong, but I believe i've studied my country enough to make some informed guesses. This is a win-win situation for me, even if I'm on the wrong side of history, I'll still be happy If GEJ can radically change Nigeria. For the sake of my people, I hope I'm wrong about GEJ.
I feel you, but a revolution is not what you expect from the ballot box; you get that if you are lucky (like Chavez and Venezuella). A revolution is also a thing that has ugly sides and could flip either way. At this point in our national evolution, a revolution will most likely give way to wanton bloodshed and despondency; it will be Jos times a million. GEJ is a very quiet person, the type that plots silently; so he would never fit in the usual mould of radical or revolutionary; rather, we will simply notice that while no one was looking, a lot of things changed. He is the exact sort we need to deal skillfully with the criminals in high places, and to his credit, he has won every single battle against them, not with the usual Nigerian display of power and aggression, but with persuasion, triangulation and intelligence. As they say, GEJ is the type that can convince a monkey to leave banana's for good. The fact that GEJ is a gate to new possibilities is beyond dispute. In so many ways, his coming on the scene has raised the bar in politics, from responsible and transparent primaries in PDP to deference to law courts. More than all of the above though, is the uprooting of the cabal; they are now running to and fro in search of a political home, they ran from IBB to Atiku and are now congregating with Buhari. The cabal is the biggest impediment to Nigeria's development and the fact that they are in a battle to the death with GEJ is my overarching reason for giving him unflinching support. The cabal must be uprooted from our political landscape and decimated, GEJ is the only one placed to do the job by fate, destiny, disposition or geography. Talking about true federalism, development and the defeat of corruption without the routing of the cabal is really a waste of time and effort. |
Something must be done about Fulani herdsmen. It is time to end their nomadic lifestyle, we don't live in the stone age anymore. In every part of the country, they live fvked up lives; robbing traders on the highway from Asaba to Onicha, Lagos-Benin expressway, killing and burning women and babies in Jos, killing in Bauchi and now Benue. |
aisha2:Kai! Aisha! How can you help the likes of blacksta propagate the falsehood that Beaf, Nsiman and Mary-J -blige are the same person. You are a mod na! And you can easily see that we aren't. Anyway its funny. And I kinda like feeling omnipotent! ![]() |
Pataki:Some peeps claim to have morals, yet love drug lords? Wonders! Anyways, here is the rascality proving document again: www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 www.nairaland.com/attachments/139268_BolaTinubuHeroinforfeiture_jpgb084d334c74cec7150ee9588a3aed2fc |
^ Do you smoke "sontin" before posting? ![]() Cos you sound incredibly dense each time. Take a break. |

afam4eva:Ok, we have noticed you cluelessly blowing in the wind. Next personal problem please, auntie is here! ![]() |
KBrown:Gbawe is a known agbero that is both foul mouthed and ethnically bigoted to the President. He is also very sparing with the truth; it makes you wonder if he ever had any morals. I really wouldn't bother about him, because its a waste of time. |
TewMuch:Why can't you talk to your governor about what he did with his federal allocation? Or are you from the Sahara? Your state probably generates zero money unlike Sokoto, Lagos and the ND, but you are here shouting about monies given to you lazy leaches. |
Becomrichn:See this bushman o! So I can't ask after your wife as your very good friend? Don't let me show you what soap does to the eye's o! Instead of telling me how your wife is, you start talking rubbish about "north get power" and "fulani/hausa". Olorun maje! Becomrich, how is your wifeeeeeee! |
No wahala, I now dey chop clean mouth comot ![]() Ok then, You know I won't vote for him because of the people sorrounding him, it's a matter of principle, and frankly he does not need my vote if he's with the owners of Nigeria in PDP. But if he can work with the right people, be strategic and get what You've been explaining about True Federalism done, I will forgive him. seriously Make we dey watch sha. . .
Anybody you vote for will have to work with the exact same people GEJ is working with (maybe even a worse crowd), so out goes your principle. But, I must say I understand exactly where you are coming from, but the World (especially Nigeria) isn't black and white. I'll say to look at those areas GEJ has silently changed despite the crew around him, and there have been some Earth moving changes. Who ever believed that one day the almajiri would be getting set for Western education? Who ever believed that a President would have the temerity to stare the likes of Shell in the eye and dare them to a game of blink? All oil contracts have been suspended until the PIB is passed. Nobody else sought to bring such defining changes to Nigeria's economic landscape; please take time to read up on the PIB and what it means for the country. GEJ will be remembered as one of Nigeria's greats, cos he is the first to put us firmly on the right path to self belief and development. Don't waste your vote, also spread the word. |
TewMuch:Dude, did you drink milk as a child? Cos something is very wrong here. Your answer qualifies as one of the daftest set of words to hit the internet. Damn! You mean GEJ should leave Abuja and take responsibility for governor Sylva's actions? What was your IQ again? I can bet you are jealous of fishes! |
"Last week I liked GEJ, this week I don't, next week I might. . . God, my brain aches!" The OP is is blowing, is blowing in the wind! The OP is blowing in the wind! Unu go wound pesin o! ![]() |
jason123:ACN is a Yoruba party, same as APGA is Igbo. What are you arguing about? |
Pataki:Damn! So you find the year the offence was committed in to be offensive, you also find my posting hardcore evidence of rascality here to be offensive. . .But you don't find Tinubu's drug peddling offensive? Well I never!!! ![]() Please take another look at the scumbags history and tell me you really don't give a toss about drug pushers, barons etc? www.nairaland.com/attachments/139268_BolaTinubuHeroinforfeiture_jpgb084d334c74cec7150ee9588a3aed2fc |
Becomerich, how is your wife? |
^ Here comes another rumour mongering dunce that forgot to learn to read. ![]() GEJ is not mentioned even once in the article, neither is any year he was gov mentioned. Why una like lie?
^ I dey here, I dey try chop remain for awon boyz. Make bros shine eye o, all these new Universities with federal power dey confuse awon boyz o!
Abeg, chop remain for we o! The new uni thing is very good developmentally, they will all be specialist schools. |
@Kilode?! I full ground remain! How your end? I didn't log on for a few days, cos I was bogged down with work. As for true federalism, I hope so; but, we are best waiting for detailed manifesto's, which in turn will depend on the security situation in the country. True federalism is still anathema to some sections. |
10cirenoh:First of all Jonathan was governor for 14 months, but those who wish to be deliberately stupeed somehow lose the abilty to count. As for the good stuff GEJ did for Bayelsa, read articles like this one, they are specially suited to dimwits: http://www.modernghana.com/news/315823/1/why-tourism-is-bayelsas-next-gold-mine.html |
Muza:. . .And your Buhari that says, "there is piss in my coke," instead of "there is fizz in my coke?" www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 |
DaLover:Don't mind the jobless folk that want to burst veins over an obvious gaffe, like it is something that will kill them. Na desperation sha. Most Nigerians are worried about where the next meal is coming from and don't give the slightest damn about who GEJ calls a rascal. The man is human like everyone one else and is bound to slip every once in a while; but trust ethnic bigots to make a meal of it and begin calling him names like ***Chukwu (bits blanked out, because I will not blaspheme - the name translates to called God a fool). Shows you how "clever" some people really are. |
Ibime:Was GEJ governor in any of the years mentioned in the article? No. You guys aught to be really ashamed. |

is a fifth generation stealth, twin-engine fighter aircraft prototype developed by Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group for the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force.[5][6] In late 2010, the J-20 underwent high speed taxiing tests. The J-20 made its first flight on 11 January 2011.[7][8] General He Weirong, Deputy Commander of the People's Liberation Army Air Force said in November 2009 that he expected the J-20 to be operational in 2017–2019.[2]
