Muza:If he has nothing, but can keep up an unending cycle presidential races, then he is either stealing or has a pretty heavy stash somewhere. |
Muza:Story, story! Provide proof. |
honeric01:Are you back from the evil forest? The opponents I'm engaging here are at least semi-intelligent. There really is no place here for a fungus like you. |
Syma:Wrong! Checkout Vala, its C# that gets interpreted into C. You can do everything C or C++ can do with Vala, and you can do it with all the RAD that C# gives you! Thats some serious low level productivity ramp up! Also check out projects like IL2CPU (part of Cosmos OS), SharpOS AOT, Bartok; they all compile C# right down to native code (eg IL2CPU spits out ASM). There's also some guy who runs a project that can take in any .NET language and spit out the equivalent assembler for the target architecture; his project is called pigmeo. Check these things out, C# is on a roll. It is being adopted for all sorts of exciting stuff, just because its so beautiful. I would suggest you take a look at Vala, its the most straight forward of the lot. |
Just add a web reference to your C# project in Visual Studio and 70% of the job is done, it will be easy enough to just fill in the gaps from there. |
EzeUche: Beaf this must be good news for you.I have always campaigned that the SS and SE share the same politics, all the squabbles of the past were self defeating and have been used by the cabal to keep both sides down. We have to look at politics from a higher perspective than some of the absolutely ridiculous claims that were floating around the SE and SS. I pray that GEJ really performs for the SE, in order to totally and permanently seal what should be a natural family bond. |
Muza:Who exactly would be interested in Buhari's upkeep? Would these be wild eyed, crazy religious extremist types? |
APGA to adopt Jonathan February 10 •Jonathan is sure of victory, says Suswam •I'm open to dialogue, Atiku assures President By Sunny Igboanugo and Mark Mayah, Lagos Vice President Namadi Sambo (right); Ogun State Governor, Gbenga Daniel; Nestle Nigeria Chairman, Segun Osunkeye; and Nestle Worldwide Chief Executive, Paul Bulcke (left); at the commissioning of Flowergate factory in Sagamu , on Thursday. Support for Goodluck Jonathan’s run for President was ramped up on the two sides of River Niger on Thursday: from an unlikely camp in the South East, and from his anchorman in the North Central, Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, his opponent at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries on January 13, equally responded to overtures, saying he is open to dialogue with the Jonathan camp. It has emerged that the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) will on February 10 adopt Jonathan as its Presidential candidate at a meeting of its National Executive Committee (NEC) and the National Working Committee (NWC) in Awka. Invitation to the meeting through text messages were sent to APGA members on Wednesday. Those expected to attend include state Chairmen and Secretaries, Governorship candidates, and all others seeking elective offices in April. APGA chieftain, Kennedy Ogbuagu, who is expected to attend the meeting, said the desire of APGA to adopt Jonathan as its Presidential candidate is to allow him complete the “good works” he started since his assumption of office. He added: “The emergency meeting is predicated on the truism that Goodluck Jonathan has done well. We need to support him in all ramifications so as to move Nigeria forward. “The APGA had assessed all the Presidential candidates and concluded that Jonathan is the man for Nigeria.’’ Ogbuagu urged other political parties to emulate APGA’s position, as “the unity of Nigeria is paramount.’’ For Suswam in Benue, Jonathan winning the election is foreclosed because there is hardly any contest. He told reporters in Makurdi that Jonathan’s Presidency is a national consensus which has caught on in all parts of the country. Suswam, the North Central Co-ordinator of the Jonathan Campaign, noted that Nigerians have already decided on who to support. “There is no other candidate who can give the President a fight from what I have seen. There is a national consensus on him to continue in office. You saw what happened at the convention in Abuja,” he argued. “What you saw in Abuja was not a fluke. You saw how the North, which is believed was the backbone of his opponent, voted for him more than the South. “That is what is going to happen in the main election. There is definitely a national consensus that there should be a shift from the old order where ethnicity and religion were employed to divide the country. “And I think it is a good thing for the country. I can assure you that at the main election, the North will vote for Jonathan more than the South.” On Wednesday, acting PDP National Chairman, Bello Mohammed, implored Atiku and and PDP members who failed to win primaries to bury the hatched and rally together to win the big one in April. Atiku responded on Thursday by saying that his group is amenable to dialogue. A statement issued on his behalf by his Media Office in Abuja said the group which put him forward for the Presidential ticket is prepared for discussion but will not succumb to propaganda against Atiku and his supporters. “Instead of this rigmarole by busy bodies, I believe that an appropriate response should be to open a window for negotiation on how to strengthen our party for the challenges ahead,” Atiku stated. He recalled that he had informed the country and his associates that he was consulting on the outcome of the primaries and that his position would be made known to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Atiku wondered why it has become a full time job for some people to force him to concede victory to Jonathan. He noted that with his Campaign Organisation having listed its complaints against the primaries, the media and those hiding under their cover should patiently await its resolution. He said it is blackmail to force a man to take any action without evaluating its effects on his group, loyalists, associates, and supporters. Atiku urged those who feel strongly about the situation to open discussion with his camp instead of engaging in harassment. But, he stressed, “If those who have won the so-called victory are confident of the genuineness of their victory, they should go on.” He restated his commitment to democracy, the rule of law, credible elections, national unity, political stability, as well as Nigeria’s progress and development. He reaffirmed the loyalty of his Campaign Organisation to the PDP and its objectives. http://www.independentngonline.com/DailyIndependent/Article.aspx?id=28302 |
I Am Open To Dailogue - Atiku Thu Feb, 03 2011 https://www.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/atiku11.jpg Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that his group is amenable to dialogue. Atiku spoke “against the background of relentless pressure and blackmail in the media by busy bodies over his alleged reluctance to congratulate President Goodluck Jonathan on the outcome of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primaries held on January 13, 2011.” In a statement issued on his behalf by his Media Office in Abuja, the former Vice President said that the group that put him forward for the PDP presidential primaries is prepared for discussion but will not succumb to baseless propaganda against his person and group. “Instead of this rigmarole by busy bodies, I believe that an appropriate response should be to open a window for negotiation on how to strengthen our party for the challenges ahead,” Atiku said. He recalled that he had informed the nation and his associates that he was consulting on the outcome of the primaries and that whatever his position on the January 13, 2011 primaries was clearly made available to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He wondered why it has become a full time job of some people to force his hand on the decision to concede victory to President Goodluck Jonathan. The former Vice President noted that with his campaign organisation having forwarded its misgivings about the irregularities that attended the primaries, the media and those hiding under their cover should be patient enough to await the outcome of its resolution. According to him, it amounts to blackmail to force a man to take any action without evaluating its effects on his group, loyalists, associates and supporters. However, the former Vice President urged those who feel strongly about the situation to open discussion with his group on the issues instead of the now familiar harassment against him by political jobbers. “If those who have won the so-called victory are confident of the genuineness of their victory, they should go on,” he said. The former Vice President, however, restated his commitment to democracy, rule of law, credible elections, national unity, political stability, progress and development of Nigeria. He reaffirmed his entire campaign team’s unwavering commitment and loyalty to the PDP and its noble objectives. http://www.thetimesofnigeria.com/Article.aspx?id=3141 |

Katsumoto:Buhari was NNPC boss under Obj. Do a check. Also check the court case Vera Ifudu brought for wrongful dismissal from NTA for broadcasting the findings on Buhari. She read it out loud on national TV, that the money had been traced to Buhari's account. |
Genbuhari3:Believe what you like sir, it still won't help Buhari's sinking boat. Tell him to crank up his aging bones and wild eyed sharia epistles for yet another futile and sad attempt in 2015. Who knows? He might even break the World record for the most failed politician of all time. |
blacksta:It is for stupeed comments like this that JohnDoe rightly called you an intellectual pygmy. Check the original article, then check the title of the thread and be amazed at how impossibly stupeed you have managed to sound with the above. If you want to ask GEJ questions, then open your own damn thread and I'll be there to flog your brains right through your rusty arse. But it seems you are a cheap coward who can't start a thread, and is scared of cerebral debate; thats why you are foolishly attempting to derail this thread. This thread is about Bakare's slide into politics and the consequences to how his integrity is viewed. Stick to the topic. Dunce. |

This is a very good thread. Where are Buhari's sources of income? We know $2.8billion missing NNPC money that got Fela singing was traced to his fixed deposit account at Midland Bank London, Buhari denies this. So we wanna know how he has been able to fund political parties and hop from place to place if he has no hidden pot of gold? |
Very interesting, but I won't believe a word until Sanusi speaks. |
Genbuhari3:Dude, I'm only trying to help; seeing that this thread is a charity to donate ideas to a clueless, sharia crazed mofo, I simply pitched in to raise the volume of your call. You never know, a philanthropist might just arrive with pearls of wisdom for the wild eyed marabout. What are friends for? ![]() |
Ideas! Ideas! Ideas! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease will somebody give them ideas?!! This is one funny thread. I remember when GEJ referred to Atiku as a wrestler (for his grasping, clueless methods), I think the same applies here. Lolz!!! ![]() www.nairaland.com/attachments/180447_ROTFLMAO_gif3d0c775232c7f27cf80592785b9635b6 |
Lewis Hamilton said he cannot wait to try out the 2011 McLaren after renewing his rivalry with Red Bull and Ferrari.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/9385750.stm I sure am looking forward to Friday. Lewis words have really heightened my already high level of suspense. The McLaren must be something to see, it'll either be drop dead or fuggly; I don't think there'll be in-betweens. . . I'm willing to bet that it will be a beauty as usual, though. |
MASSOB abandons agitation for Biafra . Thursday, 03 February 2011 03:37 Chuma Onwuegbusi, Onitsha Several years after its formation, with the primary aim of reestablishing the defunct Republic of Biafra, the Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has renounced its own existence. MASSOB also announced the cessation of all acts of hostility against the Nigerian state. The declaration by MASSOB is coming 24 hours after it reversed its earlier decision not to participate in the voter registration, because its members regarded themselves as Biafrans, not Nigerians. MASSOB, which spoke through its Director of Operations, Comrade Maduewesi Okonkwo, yesterday, expressed its readiness to support the reelection bid of President Goodluck Jonathan. Okonkwo disclosed that MASSOB was also withdrawing all its members that were, hitherto, attached to the Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) and would also recall all Biafran currencies in circulation. He said MASSOB leader, Chief Ralph Uwazurike, would soon be making an official announcement on the development. He added: “With the failing health of our spiritual leader, the Ikemba of Nnewi, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, our continued struggle for the realisation of a state of Biafra is also coming to an end.” http://www.compassnewspaper.com/NG/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=74494:-massob-abandons-agitation-for-biafra&catid=43:news&Itemid=799 |
Jonathan tasks NNPC on speedy realisation of AOK refinery in Imo News Feb 3, 2011 By CHIDI NKWOPARA President Goodluck Jonathan has directed the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, to ensure speedy realisation of AOK refinery in Imo State. The refinery, which is spear-headed by the state government, is designed to diversify the state’s economy to reduce its over-reliance on federal allocations. Governor Ikedi Ohakim, who disclosed this in Owerri while swearing in a commissioner and special adviser, also said the state government had concluded plans to build an ultra-modern electronics market in the state to cater for the needs of the citizenry. “This project, when completed and fully operational, will ultimately guarantee employment to the teeming unemployed youths in the state,” Ohakim said of the refinery. On the electronics market, Ohakim said the decision to establish it and open more business opportunities was to lure people of the South East geo-political zone nearer to their homes to contribute to the development of the area. He stressed the need to diversify the economy of the state and avoid over reliance on federal allocation in addressing the developmental needs of the people. The governor also challenged the new appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear in actualizing the lofty goals of the present administration. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2011/02/jonathan-tasks-nnpc-on-speedy-realisation-of-aok-refinery-in-imo/ |
Emergency agency charters jet to evacuate Nigerians in Egypt February 3, 2011 01:12AM The National Emergency Management Agency says it has chartered a jumbo jet to evacuate stranded Nigerians in Egypt. A statement from the agency made available on Wednesday said the decision followed a directive from President Goodluck Jonathan to that effect. According to the statement, the director-general of the agency, Mohammed Sani-Sidi, would lead the team, which will comprise of rescue officers, medical personnel and some workers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The statement said that more than 1,000 Nigerians had shown interest in being evacuated from Egypt as the Egyptian national carrier, Egypt Air, had cancelled flights to African cities such as Lagos, Kano, Accra and Nairobi. Egyptians took to the streets on January 25 in demonstrations against corruption and failing economic policies, and many countries have commenced the evacuation of their nationals from that country. http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5672090-146/emergency_agency_charters_jet_to_evacuate.csp |
blacksta:He misheard God! Damn! That was some real serious "mishearing!" The sentence below stands out and its consequences for Bakare's current position and integrity are pretty damning: It is the counsel of the Lord that shall stand in this nation. Until the sons of turmoil destroy themselves, this nation will not know peaceHow about we simply cut the story short and label him a false prophet and a man with no integrity who has no standing to contest for Nigerian leadership? ![]() |
Mobinga:Don't mind the yeye fly, if baygon doesn't work, I will try shelltox. |
blacksta:Stark intellectual poverty. How does this address any issue raised? If I very correctly call you a loser, you go begin vex. Address the issue or scram! |
blacksta:Dude, I walked into a room and saw a group of full grown men banging their heads hysterically and screaming things toddlers would be ashamed on. So, my broda, I very correctly hissed, spat and labelled the crowd an "assembly of losers." What did I do wrong? ![]() @topic Its quite clear that all other parties and their candidates are in it for themselves. Their stone-headed selfishness is exposing their candidacies as fraudulent and against the interest of Nigeria. How else could it be explained that two parties that were at the point of putting final ink to paper for a merger just last week, are today accusing one another of having unserious candidates. Pretty strong stuff! Any sensible observer has to ask just what these losers were about to gang up and unleash on the country. There is a saying that God guards the tailless cow; the enemies of Nigeria's progress will continue to be confounded, paralysed and mentally scrambled and discombobulated.
