pro01:Are you saying Atiku can get on a plane and fly into any place that is under the jurisdiction of US courts? Abeg, tell anoda story jare! |
monkeyleg:--I digress-- I remember you loudly boasting of having attended Delta states PDP primaries. So, being a clever guy, I quietly asked you on another thread if you were a PDP member and you practically swore by your ancestors that you have never ever been a member of PDP. Damn! Oga, if you no de PDP, how you take go PDP primaries? . . .Its either you are a liar or a political thug! ![]() Who hired you? ![]() For the above reasons, a gentleman like me wouldn't give a toss what you say, cos you'll only be acting true to type. ![]() |
Boboribo:Really? What do you have to say about those scoundrels? If you saying EFCC would be doing the country a favour by locking those fckers up, then dude, we are in agreement. |
Boboribo:I am sure the title is unhealthy to quite a few more good people. You only need to look through the thread. Dude, stop acting shameless, there is some good in everyone. On a lighter note, GEJ should name today "pepper souping day" in honour of this shameless thread and declare it a holiday for forgers, pocket pickers, yahooze guys etc. Afterall, they are "hard worker" too! ![]() |
Another very curious issue raised by the quartet is the Jefferson bribery scandal involving Atiku, but the pro Atiku camp dismissed the issue, pointing out that Babangida has heavier and more slimy baggage in June 12 annulment, death of Dele Giwa and the gulf war wind fall.Damn! How could two extremely useless types make it to the last four in the "consensus" battle? There is an urgent need for the youth to take over leadership in the North. |
Blazay:You keep on singing all sorts of funny tunes sha. First it was IBB, then the bus crushed him; now just before the bus crushes him, it is Atiku; soon it will be Buhari (until the proverbial bus strikes again). Dude, what do you stand for that you can run around so much? Like say you be babe, nobody for know di daddy. . . ![]() |
It is so funny the way the pepper soupers manufacture, lie and distort, because their hero (who is a wanted man) is no better. What are Atiku's plans and policies that can be used for a clean campaign? None? ![]() . . .Just grown men telling tales by moonlight and Iya akara stories! I de laugh o! ![]() |
9ijaMan:You must be joking! When did you last see me referring to Sahara Reporters? That paper is worse than toilet roll. Here is a shameless, amaturish manufacturing of news they did on GEJ (link and pic): http://saharareporters.com/photo/photonews-jonathans-declaration-when-jonathan-women-met-goodluck-men www.nairaland.com/attachments/324341_SaharaReportersFakePicture_jpg69a0b6e4ad1c8831fa731bd73bb022d2 |
The type you saw in PapaBrownes post, of course! In the meantime, how was the pepper soup? I dey laugh o! ![]() |
You tink say na only you de watch AIT? What you have done is an absolute digrace! Making up stories is for the likes of meat sellers and water carriers. |
Boboribo:Yes o! You can't just manufacture news as you like. Its bloody primitive. ![]() |
This article from a useles paper has already been posted here https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-558021.0.html |
Its funny the way a simple statement like "I de laugh!" can make a would be president like Atiku resort to gutter behaviour! Wow! His retort to a sarcastic joke was straight out of the latrine! The sort of thing you would expect from a drugged up area boy or stick weilding almajiri! Haba! Why would a man like Atiku, who is wanted in the US for laundering 6 billion Naira stolen from Nigeria even mention the word, jail? Is he hoping to live there soon? |
Sahara reporters simply cannot be trusted. |
Gathering Storm Against Atiku Written by Taiwo Adisa, Hassan Ibrahim, Donald Ojogo and Jacob Segun Olatunji Saturday, 27 November 2010 Some influential northern political figures have started putting heads together to orchestrate the emergence of another consensus candidate, following their rejection of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Abubakar emerged the choice of the Alhaji Adamu Ciroma-led Northern Political Leaders Forum (NPLF) on Monday after the committee had gone round the states of the North. This is coming as the choice of Atiku as consensus candidate has continued to up the polity as various groups in the region came out to either condemn the exercise or align with the choice. For instance, the Jonathan/Sambo Presidential Campaign Organisation in Kaduna State and northern youths under the aegis of the Arewa Integrity Youth Group at the weekend, condemned Abubakar’s choice as the region’s consensus aspirant in the 2011 Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential primary, saying the Ciroma-led NPLF lacked the credibility to impose the former vice president on the Northerners. The Director of Publicity of the Kaduna chapter of the Jonathan/Sambo Campaign Organisation, Hon. John Perry Kude, said Ciroma’s choice was not the view of other Northerners and, therefore, declared the exercise as a nullity. It was gathered that a number of northern governors were unhappy that they were left out of the decision that produced the so called consensus candidate of the NPLF. A source said the Arewa Youth groups, the governors and senators were unhappy with the manner they were treated by the Ciroma-led committee in the process of its assignment. It was learnt the different class of politicians have argued that the Ciroma committee was peopled by those who had no mandate of any particular group to lay claim to representing the people. “The governors and senators are best suited to represent the North. If there is going to be a consensus candidate of the North, these are the people that should make the decision. But the making up of Ciroma committee members indicated that those who put it up were interested in power grab. They cannot just come up and declare themselves opinion leaders of the North,” a source said. Former National Secretary of the defunct National Party of Nigeria(NPN), Senator Uba Ahmed, said in an interview that the NPLF could not lay claim to representing the North because its members were only handpicked. But senators and other groups of Northerners had kickstarted a series of meetings that would lead to the emergence of a true candidate that can be said to be a consensus candidate. A source said that while one group is said to be working in favour of President Goodluck Jonathan as a national consensus candidate, others are working towards the possibility of another candidate from the North to join President Jonathan, and Atiku in the race for the PDP ticket. Already, the governors of Adamawa, Murtala Nyako; Jigawa, Sule Lamido and Sokoto, Aliyu Wamakko, had started off a meeting said to be preparing the ground for a post consensus PDP. Besides, a fresh tension was said to have enveloped close allies of the former military President Ibrahim Babangida, following discoveries that some of the advertisements which cast doubts on the suitability of Babangida as presidential hopeful which were published in the wake of the announcement of the consensus candidate were traced to a particular contestant in the consensus bid. Meanwhile, Monday’s adoption of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has opened new flank of intrigues and horse trading as leaders of the Nation’s oil-rich belt, Niger Delta, and those from minority ethnic nationalities in the north are expected to meet over the weekend. Although invitation letters to the meeting were yet to be sent out, a source close to the parley confided in the Nigerian Tribune that all former governors, ministers who are members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are billed for the meeting which would hold in Abuja. A large chunk of the brains behind the Professor Jerry Gana-led Northern Politicians Summit, it was learnt, are expected to attend. In another development, formers President Ibrahim Babangida on Friday declared his total support for the former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar picked by the North as the consensus presidential candidate. Babamgida, who disclosed this in Abuja at a thank you round table meeting with all his presidential campaign staff across the country said that he would support the Northern candidate as earlier declared. “I am a humble man, I’m not a fool, I told you I would abide by decision of the consensus committee, so the message is I am supporting the consensus candidate, ” he said http://www.tribune.com.ng/sat/index.php/front-page-articles/2625-gathering-storm-against-atiku.html |
PhysicsQED:It isn't only the above. The reporter doesn't even have a clue of where some of the people he interviewed come from or represent, he just rushed to put names to paper (he probably has never even been to Warri). Anybody that is familiar with Warri (whether Urhobo, Ijaw or Itsekiri) would conclude that the report is a highly inacurate sham. |
^ Sir, I am not abusing anybody. Why would I do such a thing? I'm only laughing at Iya akara's pepper soup joint customers who are here starting beer palour rumours. Damn! I am deeply pepper souped by their antics!!!! ![]() Proper weekend entertainment! |

Dis shaki is too sweet sha! ![]() |
krendo:Dude, this is the title of the current thread, "Jonathan Denies Facebook Comment." Abi you no wash ya eyes before rushing out wit di kain rubbish wen you post? How does what you posted support the denial of of the facebook entry? Where exactly is facebook mentioned in what you posted? Kai! I'm laughing so much at the ridiculous show of shame by so called "intelligent" rumour mongering grown ups. I'm highly pepper souped by it all!!!!!! ![]() Iya akara! AIT news = Babangida news. Rubbish. I'm enjoying the spectacle of so called "intelligent" folk starting a pepper soup joint story. ![]() |
haka_nai I am really impressed with your effort. But words alone are not enough, there has to be a concrete and apolitical vehicle that people can key into. I hope you have considered the full scope of the issues involved. Aside from a select few, the older generation is locked into its ways and not ready for a new country based on regional equity, generousity and love. I too am a bit tired of the sort of ugly Nigerian atmosphere that makes me, as a Niger Deltan, want to give a big black eye to core Northerners. So whats the bigger plan? Its got to involve some sort of umbrella association and smaller sub-associations. A thread on NL is a start, but not even near enough. In the meantime, forget about the directionless dialogue you are having with Blazay (that would be the first sign of steadfastness). |
IBB should place an advert to sell positions for new "friends and associates of IBB." He will be shocked at how much he will make. Everybody wan chop im money! ![]() |
One of the company’s security officers on duty, who pleaded anonymity, said: “They were wearing red jackets, but they did not introduce themselves to us. When they came, they ordered all of the security men to enter inside and they said we should drop our phones. One of us was beaten mercilessly for asking them questions. Another one, they said he wasted their time by not giving them his phone on time. That was his crime. They beat him seriously.” A senior official of the company, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, described the experience as “unfortunate.” “There is nothing wrong in making an arrest, but it must be done properly,” he said, while narrating his experience. “They only came in to harass and assault us; they were beating people up, including the women. The arrests were made randomly, because they did not bother to ask for any names,Damn. It was like a drugs burst! |
EFCC raids Halliburton office in Lagos By Ifedayo Adebayo and Olugbenro Adeoye November 26, 2010 02:13AM Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Thursday afternoon conducted a raid on the Lagos office of Halliburton, Technip and Snamprogetti and officials (mostly expatriates) were arrested. During the raid which was backed by a contingent of armed policemen, officials of the companies said EFCC officials ransacked their offices and pushed the staff around before taking away documents and some officials of the company. Speaking to our reporter, Femi Babafemi, the commissions’ spokesperson, said the raid was the result of new discoveries and the latest development in its investigation of the American oil services firm’s alleged corrupt practices. “I don’t have the details yet, but I know that three MD’s of Technip and Halliburton, three of them were arrested,” Mr Babafemi said. Halliburton has been sanctioned in the UN for its role in a multi-billion dollar scandal involving the Nigerian Liquified Gas industry. As NEXT reported in past editions, at least three former presidents, Sani Abacha, Abdusalami Abubakar and Olusegun Obasanjo were implicated as recipients of bribes from American and European contractors retained to build Africa’s first liquefied natural gas plant in Bonny, Rivers State by US law enforcement officials. Yesterday’s raid, according to Mr. Babafemi, is related to the ongoing case. “It is the same Halliburton case. We just go back into the case based on fresh information that we have,” he said. Eye witnesses of the EFCC action said the anti-graft officials, who arrived at the company’s premises around 10 am, blocked both ends of the Younis Bashorun Street where the company is located. The officials, who numbered be eight, came in two vehicles containing EFCC officials and police officers. Like a robbery They were, however, criticised for the manner of operation, which was likened to an “armed-robbery attack in broad daylight.” An early text message to NEXT warned of a robbery attack on the company’s premises. A trader, who identified himself as Musa, said: “E be like say we dey watch film; we just dey hear noise and we see them as dem dey beat some of the workers, and later dem dey push dem inside motor by force.” A company staff also alleged that anti-graft officials physically assaulted them. The arrests were made randomly, because they did not bother to ask for any names, apart from the Managing Director, who was not in. It was like a robbery operation; some of the staff who did not know initially that they were EFCC officials hid themselves in the toilet for over an hour. We all thought they were a bunch of militants. There was a lot of confusion in the place. They were wielding their guns and everyone was afraid; it was so disgusting.”a http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/News/Metro/Crime/5646736-146/efcc_raids_halliburton_office_in_lagos.csp |
Jonathan orders NNPC to find oil in Chad Basin Written by James Bwala, Maiduguri Friday, 26 November 2010 President Goodluck Jonathan has directed the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to find oil in the Chad Basin. Group Managing Director (GMD) of NNPC, Mr Austin Oniwon, disclosed this when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Ali Modu Sheriff of Borno State in his office at the Maiduguri Government House, on Wednesday. He said that, following the president’s directive, the NNPC was made to re-evaluate all the seismic data acquired between 1976 and 2000 when initial exploration commenced and stopped in the Chad Basin. The Group Managing Director said that his company re-commenced the frontier exploration to map out and delineate all viable areas on behalf of the government and leased out to interested investors, pointing out that the exercise was also to stimulate interest of investors in the basin. Oniwon expressed optimism that oil would be found in commercial quantity within the Nigerian side of the Chad Basin, especially now that the NNPC was collaborating with the Chinese company which found oil on the other side of the basin. He disclosed that already the NNPC had acquired 370 square kilometers of seismic data out of the 3,550 square kilometers of the Chad Basin. http://tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/13994-jonathan-orders-nnpc-to-find-oil-in-chad-basin |
^ Are you really Dr Kitaun, or you're just fcking around with someone elses respected user name? You need to give some backing to the things you are reeling out, otherwise you will be questioned / pepper souped. And very rightly too. ![]() |
Campaign team slams Atiku on economy By Festus Owete November 26, 2010 02:26AM The Goodluck/Sambo Campaign Organisation has condemned the claim by the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar that the economy under President Goodluck Jonathan is declining. Mr Abubakar had, during a press conference last Tuesday, alleged that the president was mismanaging the economy. He also criticised the depletion of the excess crude account and the poor performance of the budget. But the director of research and strategy of the organization, Mike Omeri said yesterday that Mr Abubakar merely displayed stark ignorance on the performance of the economy. Mr Omeri, who described the former vice president as a mischief maker, said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF)has since acknowledged the upward movement of our economy and has rated it buoyant. “We maintained that Nigeria’s external debt at the point of exit in 2005 was $3.5 billion dollars and only rose to $4.5 billion dollars in 2010,” he said. “Only this month, the IMF confirmed that the economy of sub-Saharan African will be among the best performing in the world this year and next, lagging only behind those in emerging Asia. IMF also raised its growth forecast for Nigeria’s economy to 7.4 percent in both 2010 and 2011 from 7 percent and 7.3 percent respectively.” He added that at the moment, the nation’s public debt to Gross Domestic Products(GDP) is 11.8 percent, while that of the United Kingdom(UK) is 68.20 percent, United States of America (USA) 53.50 percent and Brazil59.50 percent. Mr Omeri said the Jonathan administration’s economic policies are sound, citing international global rating as basis for faulting the position of the former vice president. “In fact, we are the third fastest growing economy in the world today by IMF and World Bank. Anybody can go the internet and download this information. Our economy rating since Obasanjo administration till date has remained B.B rating,” he said. “We have not been downgraded. With all the respect, Atiku displayed emptiness and ignorance on our economy, and such a man should not dream or contemplate managing an economy he knows next to nothing about.” Focus on issues He also alleged that Mr Atiku mortgaged the Nigerian economy when he held sway as vice president between 1999 to 2007. “We are all witnesses to the kind of economy Atiku ran as Vice President when he mortgaged our common heritage to himself and his cronies. Atiku is the least person to talk about an economy he ran aground. He lacked the moral standing and should be schooled on basic economics. Mr Omeri asked Mr Atiku to focus his campaign on issues instead of engaging in mudslinging. http://234next.com/csp/cms/sites/Next/Home/5646655-146/campaign_team_slams_atiku_on_economy.csp |
hannie:You're funny sha! The best you can get from ACN in Lagos about what is going on at Aso Rock is very sadly third or fourth hand gist; I guess it was all through becomerich too. No wonder becomerich went kolo and started reading maps! ![]() |
mikeansy:It will only seem ridiculous if you take it out of context. All you have to do is imagine the entry as a barb targetted at Atiku and it will all fall in place. The simple interpretation is is that Atiku has been disloyal to the Nigerian economy to the point that he is wanted for laundering 6 billion Naira through several foreign accounts in the US. |
^ Dude, go and sleep jare! First you are in ACN, then you are in the corridors of power, now you are Dr Kitaun! Abeg go and sleep, you are tired! ![]() |
mikeansy:Where exactly did GEJ mention his primary responsibilities in the facebook entry? And how does being loyal to ones boss mean one isn't loyal to Nigeria? I think you are being unnecessarily alarmist and torturing facts. GEJ never said his primary responsibilities were not to the constitution and Nigeria. |
