hannie: @BeafThat is what iya akara always says. ![]() Not one word you say is situated in verifiable fact, everything from you is street corner type gist. |
^ If you continue spewing pepper soup joint crap, the World will keep passing you by. How do you manage to ooze so much of it? Damn! |
^ So if Jonathan says he was loyal to Yar Adua, and is loyal to the economy, his wife and kids; it means he isn't loyal to Nigeria and the constitution? What kind of logic is that? You are above such forced and stretched arguments that have no meaning. Come on!
I'm loyal to Nigeria's Economy ![]() Can somebody pls explain what this means because i can't seem to understand how someone can be loyal to an economy, shouldn't it be I'm loyal to the Nigerian Government?? Abeg i dey w8
No, he is absolutely correct in his use of words. He has not taken a single illegal Kobo, unlike Atiku who is known for rap!ng the economy. Atiku not only has several foreign accounts, but is wanted in the US for laundering 6 billion Naira. |
alj harem:Did someone put gutter water in your kunu? What part of GEJ's statement is painful to you? Is it:
[li]That he is faithful to his wife?[/li] [li]He is not a consensus, ethnic or sectional candidate, but represents Nigeria?[/li] [li]He has no foreign account?[/li] [li]His kids go to school right here in Nigeria?[/li]
I know you have one or two problems with thinking straight, but haba! That list of commendable attributes is straightforward enough na! |
Boboribo:He is already President. Unfortunately, he took the mantle of office just a few months to a general election and everyone knows that elections are the most distracting engagements for political office holders. Wait until he gets a full term mandate with no clowns buzzing around about zoning, North vs South etc. |
hannie:I don't see your grouse with facebook except you are a bit old fashioned. GEJ's FB presence is a great example of how he reaches out and cares for the common man. He is lauded all over the World for it (but we know what they say about prophets in their own homes). If GEJ's taking up of a facebook account was in poor taste, why is it that every single one of his opponents rushed to get their own facebook accounts? You might understand best what you mean by "decorum," because your use of the word in the context of this thread makes absolutely no sense. Facebook is a social tool to speak one on one with people and GEJ is the first African President to do so. That is an incredible pride. |
Boboribo:You people have been calling Jonathan names from the day it became obvious that Yar Adua (RIP) was dying. The strange thing about that matter is, the bigger the insult you guys heap on GEJ, the bigger the defeat he inflicts on you. As soon as the man you call mumu gets a full term mandate with no distracting elections, people like Atiku will begin to understand a brand new "language." They will learn the dance of the retribution of the masses and they will forsake their families for new homes in Kirikiri, Gashua, Ita Oko etc where they belong. |
^ See this almajiri with internet access! There is a clear difference between "Beaf" and "beef." Can you notice it? ![]() |
Boboribo:Employ intelligence! You are beginning to sound just like Atiku! ![]() Atiku asked about the economy? Shock! Horror! He is a wanted man in the US for laundering 6 billion stolen Naira, from guess where?. . . atiku asked about the economy my foot! He will soon be in the same position as Ibori, Dubai is turning out to be a good place to catch 9ja criminals and thieves. Atiku asked about the economy?!! Dude, you got jokes! ![]() Boboribo / Atiku's head: https://24.media.tumblr.com/RaAhBBk4Tjrmk0leJtDZAI09o1_400.png |
Dubstic:Atiku attempted the sort of rumour mongering you have above and was told what is what point blank by Aganga. Rumours don't work where there are figures, and figures are what World class bankers like Aganga feed on. Atiku's figures extend only as far as money laundering (6 billion stolen Naira in the US alone) and the "roger" he was getting as a customs officer at Seme border. Never play rumour against those with figures. Big mistake! So, revealed; Atiku has poor knowledge of economics! ![]() |
^ That is a lie of Dugbe meat trader quality! As always, we ask those who peddle malicious falsehoods for proof. ![]() |
Its shocking, isn't it? Lies are one of the most used tools in our corruption ridden country. It is a sad reflection of Nigeria's corruption index. To a great percentage of our population, telling lies and spreading false rumours is a natural way to fend off defeat in an argument, especially when their position is driven by illicit gain. |
^ . . .Still waiting for intelligence from Atiku supporters. But I gues I'll be waiting till hell freezes over, Atiku is an unintelligent thug and a kleptomaniac to psychotic levels. . . But as they say, birds of a feather flock together, so some of his followers cease to surprise. ![]() While GEJ has no foreign account, Atiku is wanted in the US for laundering 6 billion Naira (all stolen from Nigeria) through several foreign accounts. Now, thats worth thinking deeply about. |
Boboribo:Whatever. Dude, you just never make sense in any of your posts. You don't seem to have any debating skill's, so you come across as a very unintelligent person who can only tell lies and haul abuse. Sadly, such primitive methods don't win people over, rather they negatively affect your image (if you ain't a thug in real life, that is). Its always best to keep quiet and observe than say foolish things or tell obvious lies. I would like to see you attack a topic with intelligence and honesty some day. Is that too much to ask? |
ode remo:You guys are really funny! GEJ won't even need to be physically present to defeat Atiku in a debate.Atiku is an illiterate at every level, his diction is a million times worse than GEJ's and his IQ is like -3; the US wants him for stealing and laundering 6 billion of our money in 2008. . . The list goes on! I'm sorry to say, but Atiku is a vacuous fool whose only talent is kleptomania. |
^ So the foreign reserve is £34billion (approx)?! ![]() You see why people laugh at folk like you and Atiku? |
Boboribo:Chei! Dis one don pass "be careful" o! Some are behaving in primitive ways because the inconsequential "nobody" keeps defeating them at every single turn! ![]() Na wa o! Oga, buy one of these for after Atiku's loss at the primaries :https://www.roughingthekicker.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/noose.jpg |
Goodluck Jonathan: ''I was loyal to my leader, the late great President Umaru Yar'adua. I am loyal to Nigeria, I don't claim to represent North, South or a Committee-I represent Nigeria. I am loyal to Nigeria's economy, I don't have accounts or property abroad, ALL my children live and school in Nigeria. I am loyal to my wife and friends. Can those who accuse me say the same?''The sort of President we've always prayed for! May God strengthen you sir. |

The privatisation of PHCN is well under way. |
@Blazay Thank you for the posts. It is clear to all, that while we can trace every hardworking step of Jonathans life, from very humble beginnings to the pinnacle of Nigerian governance, the same cannot be said for Atiku. Atiku who was a customs officer at Seme border, has by some "miracle," grown stupendously rich. There are no obvious sources, nor is there verifiable history to his wealth. Atiku, is a wanted man in the US for laundering $40,000,000 (Six billion Naira) stolen from Nigeria, while people from his state make do without education, basic healthcare and wallow in abject poverty and deprivation. |
Prisoner, Intestines Exposed, Receives Treatment | 11/24/10 09:50 AM | HARARE, Zimbabwe — A Zimbabwean prison official says a man who spent two months in prison with his intestines hanging out has been taken to the hospital. Harare Remand Prison's superintendent says suspected motorcycle thief Baos Chimwanza was taken to the hospital Tuesday after appearing in court. The judge sent him to the hospital and postponed his trial. Chief Superintendent Billiot Chibaya says Chimwanza was shot in the stomach when police tried to arrest him in September. He has suffered with a protruding intestine since. Chibaya said Wednesday the prisoner uses colostomy bags to cover his intestines and takes painkillers. The prison official says Chimwanza was taken to a hospital Oct. 11, but has not returned since. The prison doctor would not comment on his condition. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/24/baos-chimwanza-zimbabwe-p_n_788054.html |
I know, our leaders reflect the prevailing culture in Nigeria though, Ageism(Gerontocracy) "Big-manism" "God-fatherism (all the Naija isms, you get the picture) whatever you call it, it's a culture that ignores basic principles of equality or egalitarianism. Most of us are guilty of that nonsense from our Churches/Mosques to our kitchens. Koruji I do not share your enthusiasm about GEJ but, I can see why you might consider him a lesser evil, he has a calmer demeanor and he seems to care more about maintaining a certain positive public persona. Beyond that, I can't see how he's different from his former boss Alams, with his large foreign entourage, spending N23Bils on Jets!! I took the Benin Ore road recently sir! the Busiest business inter-state road corridor in Nigeria is still an eyesore and a death trap! 23BN on jets?! Patience's corruption allegations, the dumb rice distribution, I can't even believe GEJ didn't participate in Alamieyeseigha's looting of Bayelsa but, that's just me. I refuse to suspend that much disbelief. So, yes he seems gentle, But I'm also a Nigerian, I've seen enough and as they say in obodo oyinbo, even if you put lipstick on a pig. . . . As for Ribadu and co, I'm not impressed either, however, I will be happy to see a very weak and less powerful PDP even if they win the presidency. Ribadu/ACN has work to do and They need to focus on becoming a strong opposition. They've wasted too much time already I do not even want to talk about that "foam in the mouth" illiterate called Atiku, that thief will sell Nigeria to the highest bidder and quickly too!
Abeg, free di man! What you see is the actual goods. Dude, this is Jonathans house that was bombed when he was VP, there is nothing ostentatious about it, you can see how villagers could walk into his compound freely. In fact it was also his only house and when his father died, newspapers actually reported him as being homeless, because he genuinely had no home. https://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/0cQe1wUdfe5R8/610x.jpg |
^ No, we cannot keep blaming Obj if we have a toothache or cannot explain some strangers behaviour. It just sounds like laziness, or is Obj some sort of god that people have an inordinate fear off? If there are problems with Atiku, lets leave it with him, instead of looking to blame Obj like he is Atiku's parent and Atiku is a kid. |
marcdunu:No, it seems the Northern govs have been secretly fishing around for another candidate, cos they feel Atiku isn't salaeble. |
Omenani:So how come Atiku's own state is one of the most difficult for him? This one voice thing is being demystified. |
Northern Govs set hurdles for Atiku Headlines Nov 25, 2010 By Emmanuel Aziken, Political Editor, Taye Obateru, Emeka Mammah & Umar Yusuf LAGOS—DESPITE his emergence as the consensus aspirant of the Mallam Adamu Ciroma-led Northern Political Leaders Forum, NPLF for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential ticket, Atiku Abubakar was, last night, facing fresh hurdles to his long sought presidential aspiration. Vanguard learnt that his erstwhile boss, President Olusegun Obasanjo and some of the region’s governors were working from different directions against him. It was gathered that some of the governors were particularly miffed at the choice of Atiku by the Ciroma committee as they saw it as an outsider seeking to take over a house he had abandoned. Vanguard enquiries among some of the Northern governors and their allies revealed that Atiku would have to work hard to win their support. In his native Adamawa State, Atiku was, as at yesterday, not confident of the support of the PDP establishment as controlled by Governor Murtala Nyako. https://www.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/Governor-Murtala-Nyako.jpg Aliyu Wamakko, Sule Lamido and Murtala-Nyako Atiku was, nonetheless, maintaining the bounce he received from the Monday endorsement by the Ciroma committee. After receiving the endorsement of the Mega Progressive Peoples Party, MPPP, the former Vice President told Vanguard that he would shock his enemies in Adamawa and across the country. He further assured that the mutual interests between him and the governors would help him to overcome President Goodluck Jonathan at the forthcoming PDP primaries. Among the governors believed to be opposed to Atiku were Governors Sule Lamido of Jigawa, Murtala Nyako of Adamawa and Aliyu Wamakko of Sokoto. The trio who met in Dutse as part of their regular consultative meeting on Monday and Tuesday were surprisingly quiet on the emergence of Atiku as the NPLF choice aspirant. Political arrangement An informed source described the meeting of the trio as a post-consensus political arrangement to shore up an alternative to Atiku. Director of Press, Government House, Dutse, Umar Kariya, however, cited common political and development interests for the meeting of the trio. Two of the governors, Nyako and Lamido are known associates of President Obasanjo while sources claimed that Wamakko was predisposed to Jonathan on account of the President’s solidarity with him on his legal battles at the post-election tribunal. Kyari told Vanguard: “They are leaders in the party and they came to discuss PDP things. What they are saying is that they want the firmness of the PDP to continue and their next meeting will come up in Abuja. “They are by their positions leaders of the party and naturally when ever such high party men come together they would discuss the position of the party and really from what is obtaining on the ground as we head towards the primaries, they will discuss how the party will conduct the primaries as a family.” The perceived non-interest of many of the governors to Atiku it was learnt, was being linked to his non-involvement in the process of the emergence of many of them as governors in 2007. At the time of the 2007 elections Atiku was presidential candidate of the Action Congress, AC, and had battled them in the field. The sentiment against Atiku was equally shared in some States typically, Kaduna whose Governor, Yakowa, told Vanguard that the choice of Jonathan was a settled matter for the State. The governor said: “For me and for us here in Kaduna, our position is very clear. The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria was until recently, the governor of this state and now, he is the number two citizen and he is together with the President on the same ticket and we are solidly in support of Jonathan/Sambo ticket. “We are in a democracy and even here at the council chambers when we (the Northern Governors’ Forum) debated the issue, we discovered that every Nigerian has the constitutional right to aspire to be anything from President to councillor. By so doing, everybody is exercising his constitutional right. In the process, you can dialogue with one another. I am sure that democracy allows that.” Mixed reactions in Adamawa In Adamawa, Atiku’s home state, mixed reactions have trailed his endorsement. While the State Chapter of the PDP described the endorsement as a welcome development if it is in the best interest of the North, the state government has kept sealed lips on this issue. Chairman of the party, Umaru Mijinyawa Kugama who spoke to Vanguard in a telephone interview said the party will soon call a stakeholders meeting to come up with a position statement. Adamawa State government has, however, kept sealed lips since the endorsement was announced a few days ago. Senior Special Assistant, Media, to Governor Murtala Nyako, Alhaji Aminu Iyawa, referred our correspondent to either the secretary to the state government SSG or the commissioner for information. In Kano, indications emerged that Kano PDP under the current leadership of Farouk Iya may not support Atiku candidacy as the consensus candidate of the North during the forthcoming party primaries. An impeccable source close to PDP chairman in Kano explained that Kano had always voted for unity, and would not go out of its way this time around. The source said: “Kano voted for Abiola in 1993, voted Obasanjo in 1999 and 2003 against home boys in the persons of Bashir Tofa, and late Abubakar Rimi. The patriotism has not waned over time.” North Central Most governors in the North Central Zone who had earlier pledged support for the Jonathan/Sambo ticket at the presidential primaries appeared indifferent to the emergence of former Atiku Abubakar as candidate of the Northern Political Forum. Investigations at some of the government houses in the zone showed that most of the governors were standing by their initial resolve and were working towards achieving it. An aide to Governor Jonah Jang of Plateau State was emphatic on his boss “unshakeable commitment” to supporting the Jonathan Sambo ticket. He told Vanguard that given his age and reputation as a man of his words, Jang could not go back on his promise on the matter. “He is a democrat who believes in the due process but he is also known to be a man of his words and he cannot at this time turn his back on a cause for which he had declared support.” Meanwhile, Chairman of the PDP in Plateau State Dr. Haruna Dabin has cautioned against allowing the issue of PDP consensus candidate for the North to send wrong signals to party members in the Southern part of the country. He told Vanguard that while the party remained neutral in the matter, it was important not to send wrong signals to other parts of the country and make it look like it is a North-South matter. Atiku unmoved Atiku was nonetheless unmoved, yesterday, describing the perceived opposition as inconsequential. Speaking through his spokesman, Garba Shehu, the former Vice-President said: “Atiku will surprise everyone in Adamawa and in the race as a whole. First they said we will not get the party membership, then we got it. Then it came to waiver, we got that one. “When they started this consensus process, we were rated as not being there. We like being underrated. Adamawa will be the first to fall on Atiku’s feet. Just wait and see.” http://www.vanguardngr.com/2010/11/northern-govs-set-hurdles-for-atiku/ |
Blazay:What has Obj got to do with the matter? It is Atiku that's wanted in the US for money laundering. If you look toward the bottom of this linked document, you would find that the person on whom several attempts were made to serve a summons, was Jennifer "Douglas" Atiku, it surely wasn't Obj: http://www.valawyersweekly.com/vlwblog/files/2009/01/motion-e-mail-service.pdf They chased her all over Abuja, but she had fled to Dubai. Dude, try to make sense sometimes. Atiku is a criminal. |
I know Obahiagbon personally (for donkey years now). He has always been a radical to the core, he is very intelligent, honest, couragous and widely read. When he was still a member of the PDP, he was the only NASS member to call press conferences (twice) to denounce the part the lawmakers were playing in the Yar Adua saga. That guy and Halims Agoda are the only genuine lawmakers. |
debosky:. . .Because Jennifer very hurriedly sold their Potomac mansion and fled the US for Dubai. |
Abagworo:You remain the liar. Now, let me break it down into very simple English for you, since you are either being dishonest or are completely dense, Where did I say militancy will end with the arrest of either Henry Okah or John Togo? Show me the place or accept that you are a liar who just makes false claims against people to foward your new role of causing confusion. Why should a grown man tell bare faced lies? |
