valacious: i find flaws in your theory sir. Why should otedola suddenly turn around and re-label his offering to bribe farouk as a sting operation? Why would he go that path. I agree with your theory that otedola reached out to bribe lawan, but i disagree that it hasnt been a set-up from the onset. I say, it's been a sting operation from the very onset with just d sole aim of discrediting the subsidy report. I forsee the story ending this way- many drama and inricacies are introduced, and both parties are let go, and d subsidy report thrown to d trash bin-the exact motive from d word go!

My friend we know how sting operation is performed. I assure you if it was a setup from the beginning, then it is either our SSS have not performed sting operation before or the entire operation was flawed.

Please answer this:
If it was a sting operation why was farouk not arrested there and then? Why would the SSS allow to go with a wooping $650,000. Does farouk have immunity that SSS were afraid of touching him even with all the evidences.

Where is the video? If there was a video would they rather release audio which farouk can easily allege that it's being doctored?

My take:

- The 'sting operation' story was all bull$h!t. We all know that with the huge amount involved and after the 'operation' ended, with all the evidence (video or audio), the money will then be retrieved immediately and farouk arrested by the same SSS.

- There was NEVER a video recording. Odetola lied and threatened farouk with the said video and succeeded in making him confessed of collecting money from him.

- Odetola is a thief
- Farouk is a thief
- SSS are liars and thieves
- Police are pathetic liars and thieves
- All NASS members are thieves
- All PDP members are thieves
- GEJ is dumb and also a thief
- Nigeria is doomed!

Why is GEJ and the rest of the security topshots not going after the sponsors of Boko Haram? Why do they keep on hunting for foot-soldiers instead targetting their sponsors? We all know these people are blowing up SUVs and jeeps, these cars are acquired using millions of naira. They have network of members with different ranks - all these without money cannot be possible and cannot be sustained. They have have been around for over two years and are growing very powerful by the day.

The foot-soldiers they are going after can always be replaced because there is money! If they capture Bama or Sokoto today tomorrow Boko haram can easily recruit and train 20 Bamas and Sokotos. In that case what did the government achieve?

Capture and prosecute the sponsors to stop the money flow, weaken their financial capability.

Unless the people in govt are deliberately allowing the killings to continue to realise their agenda of splitting nigeria. In this case i will say sorry to our christian brothers in the north because obviously they are being sacrificed for a cause.

There are many reasons and most were mentioned already:

- The chase is more interesting than the catch...
- The money should be channelled to building a strong home/family especially for children's future
- After marriage some women become so bored thereby killing all the flame of excitements that was hitherto enjoyed before the marriage.
- After spending so much before the marriage, some men tend to be disappointed after seeing the true color of their spouse for that's not what she was selling during the courtship.
