I have a young friend of mine who has been masturbating since he was eleven years old and he is going to be twenty this year. His parents are divorced and he does not live with any of them.

We where talking today and he confided in me that he's been masturbating since he was eleven and that he has been struggling to stop out of guilt but he eventually stopped trying ever since he saw that it was almost impossible so he continued.

But I tried to encourage him to stop because I have been there. I started when I was in the university and struggled till 2018 when I eventually got more control. I realized that while I was still a chronic masturbator that I had almost no drive to succeed in anything which affected me a lot because I kept to my self, had no friends, felt guilty, weak and empty but my friend argued that he won't even bother trying because it was just impossible and doctors say it's healthy to masturbate, I argued that those doctors were lying and that it is not Scripturally okay but he also argued that were in the bible is it written? and I couldn't argue more cause I also relapse at times.

So please, that is why I have come here to ask for the advice on how to encourage him to keep on fighting against addiction and what bible verses can I quote for him?

My Brother, your wife is not a witch. You have to fight back in prayer, it's obvious that powers from your foundation are at work.
I witnessed this type of situation when I got married too, I lost my job in an oil and gas company in Port-Harcourt then. I could not afford to feed my family and to pay rent. I also moved back to my state of Origin in the southwest at that time. I prayed until something happen again. I was restored back in multiple folds, I got another job and also traveled out of the country.

My brother, your Wife is your favour pipe. You said, she had a child from the previous relationship, what is going to be her gain by making things turn upside down for you. I am very sure she is seriously interceding and praying for you in silence. If you chase her away, you will add to your problems and troubles. You need a continuous fire prayer to address this situation. As Lord liveth, victory is yours.

I recommend you do the following

1. Repent of every known and unknown sin.
2. Disconnect yourself from every side babe polluting your life and ask God for mercy.
3. Carry out physical and spiritual research on your life & background
4. Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you
5. Pray for 21days on your foundation, remember what the Psalmist did in Psalm 56:9, He cried unto God, his enemies turn back. The effectual prayer of a righteous man availeth much(James 5:16).
6. The enemy will release your portion when your prayer is hot, the enemy cannot withstand the continuous bombardment of fire prayers. My brother, it worked for me. Don't exhibit laziness, please.

Before marrying my wife, my business was moving well. I had an appliances big shop with full of things. I made a lots of money monthly and was able to pay all my bills and take care of my single mother and siblings without fail.

Bbut since we got married, just two months and 5 days after our marriage, my shop caught fire. I have lost almost everything only managed to save some few things, had to pay for all the damages to my landlord (the shop owner ) I’m still owning him money and I’m now renting a small shop but things are not working.

I have so much debts to pay to so many people including my previous shop landlord, can’t afford a 3 square meals, can’t afford to pay house rent, can’t afford to pay my shop rent and we have moved to my parents house.

My wife is pregnant and due in April, we haven’t bought anything for the baby. I wish never met her in my life cos she has completely destroyed my life and I have nothing left. She is evil. Haven’t confronted her cos of her condition, don’t want to add more stress to her and am waiting for her to put to bed then I will confront her and chase her away. I will keep the baby with me so she can go with her child she had before we met. I just hate her so much and I want nothing to do with her anymore.
