Answer them well and we can go from there...

What do you mean by a "life of underachievement"...

Are you saying he doesn't have any goal or vision for life?

What is your definition of achievement?
Family › Re: Why Do Most Men(married) Use Lock Code On Their Phones? by bellong: 8:31pm On Oct 03, 2014
Your husband should give you his pass code. He shouldn't keep it from you.

I don't know why people lock their phones... Maybe to prevent identity theft or prevent their kids from gaining access to the phone.

enkay27: Tnx so much for the words....i pray for His grace, mercy and strength throughout the trial time
Amen...

Anytime you are feeling depressed, you can always say something here... There are many good people on this thread to lighten you up. Walk around in your street and behold wonders of nature.

Check where you have made mistakes and correct them. Consider what you are not doing right and redo them

This phase too shall pass.

Equalizer: Thanks and God bless you for this wonderful piece.. My spirit is indeed lifted...
You are welcome bro...

Be sure of a thing "God does not forsake His own.." Situations may speak otherwise but He is always with you. The devil will tell you negatives and make you feel rejected and forsaken but God will never leave nor forsake you.

This phase of life shall pass. Nothing in life is permanent especially unwanted conditions. It has come to go...

Hang in there and keep pushing on.
Family › Re: Are You Feeling Suicidal? Come Here First! (part 2) by bellong: 7:42pm On Oct 03, 2014
Enkay27 and Equalizer,

These are few words from the scriptures ....

"A man/woman born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble....."

"In the world, you shall see great tribulations but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world....."

"When thou pass through waters, it will not overflow thee, when you pass through fire, it will not burn thee...."

God didn't promise us a life free of challenges but that which is full of them. However, His grace is available to pull us through them if we don't give up hope.

The third verse I quoted says "When", which means we must surely pass through things, situations, conditions and issues that may shake us but they will never overcome us if we don't give up hope.

These things are happening to strengthen us, prepare us for the great future ahead and also draw us close to God for by strength shall no man prevail.

When you have prayed and done all things and seems nothing is happening, and also seems God is silent on you, it only means " Be patient" He is working out something for us and teaching us patience.

Meanwhile, you can also go through what you have been doing to see if you have been doing some stuffs wrong. Retrace and correct it. If you fail at your attempts in anything, don't give up, try it again till you do it right.

In all things be thankful, if not for anything but for the gift of life.... For a living dog is better than a dead lion because there is hope for the dog. That you have life is enough proof that it is not over for you.

God makes all things beautiful in His own time not ours... His time for you shall come soon... Hang in there and never give up hope for Hope does not make ashame.

It is well with you.

Acidosis: If wifey had married a believer who goes to church, this sad event wouldn't have occured.

ALL BLAMES goes to Wifey. Even Bishop Oyedepo would never approve such marriage.

#The thought of ignoring the proposal of a rich lekki-based unbeliever smiley
You don't have the details to start blaming the woman for marrying him.

Probably they were both not believers before they got married.

In that situation, the bishop can't do nothing.

diegs: Everybody has been begging this man ehn. He is still adamant. Is it the woman's fault that she wanted to worship in her church? Why can't the man forgive her? She is also grieving the loss of their baby too.
Like a Yoruba adage, the man should have first pursue the fox before coming to deal with the chicken. He should at least sympathise with his wife to recover from the accident.

Meanwhile, if the woman understands her bible well, she would have known she was only going to church to waste her time since her husband didn't support her inter-city travel.

A lot of women respects their Pastors/Bishops/Prophets more than their husbands which shouldn't be. Your husband is the first priest of your home. If you wants a good priest in your home, be diligent enough to marry a good man.

You all are here discussing my sister? huh huh undecided undecided. The gods are angry already.

Why is it that when people set out to do good out of their good heart, people usually ascribe an underlying motive to the goodness.

No matter how corrupt and bad the world is, some people can do good without any sinister or selfish motive. What the man did, I know I can do likewise without selfish interest.

Who knows if it was the grandmother that convinced him to taking the young girl. And I am not saying he is doing it for the right purpose.

Until one has the details can you be specific.

Depends on location close to you. The price difference is not significant.

Adult - 40,200 (Lagos) 35,000 (Abuja)

Kid - 20,000 (Lagos) Think same for Abuja.

This is one of the numbers for Lagos clinic, 08081009944, you can call to ask if there's room for weekend appointment.
