A woman who insists on not having sex before marriage has a shallow and stupid mentality? How far humankind has come. You don't realize how bleeped up your mind must be to say that? You could say you suspected she was lying as she's sleeping around, but this! You need help. Chuvin22: "we wont have sex until marriage."
it was also the biggest display of stupidity from the other gender. spits*
i loved that girl. i hated looking for sex from random people, i cant double date. its stressful and i cant be chasing goals and temporary pleasure from multiple persons.
she probably think i will respect her more if we dont have sex until marriage lol. such shallow and stupid mentality. or maybe she was riding on my calmness and collecting from someone out there.
i don dey fear women shaa after that experience |

Me don talk am teytey. Talent, then hard work. We'll continue to have this problem as long as the Best of them choose to play for their countries of birth. Besides all the supposed "NBA players" in the squad barely feature for their respective teams, at best role players. steady986: Thank God say I no too raise my hopes for this Naija team . We never reach there first. Na small small. Make the core of this team remain together win FIBA Africa, them compete favourably in FIBA WC, then we can reevaluate them.
This team is still very young. A good number of them are either rookies or sophomores, a few of them in their third year. Most of them are also not regular rotation pieces for their teams. So, while there was talent, it wasn't quite enough compared to these other teams. It would even have been much better for us if we brought along more guys who play in Europe who are regulars for their team, Guys like Michael Eric, Iroegbu, Stan Okoye etc.
It is what it is though. We move. |

I would rather that's the case, but I am afraid, that rule doesn't apply to everyone. For some players that are supposedly 'world-class, you are at their mercy. You force their hand, you fit enter trouble. You overpamper them wahala. Besides if you want to make a resolution to sell players with at least two years on their contracts, who have refused to extend, you must consider what the market can offer as a replacement. You have to deal with all sorts of issues including overpriced players. These are matters you cannot apply a specific rule to. More like on a case-by-case basis. patrickmuf: You don't wait until a player has 1 year left on his contract before you begin serious negotiations for an extension. With 2 years left, if a player doesn't commit to a new deal, you are best advised to sell especially when the said player still has a bit of age on his side... |

It's not so simple. You want to keep a supposedly good player, although sometimes out of desperation. It takes an incredible amount of patience not to ever come to the point of desperation. You don't want to let him go and then regret, as we did when we let him go the first time, at least retrospectively. Now that's me being straightforward. Personally, I think that man is overrated and should have been offloaded a long time ago. Coupled with the fact that his agent is an embodiment of drama, the writing on the wall was very clear. patrickmuf: The big issue now is that most clubs know they can sign a pre-contract agreement with him in January hence will be reluctant to deal...We should have addressed this concern last summer...Now, the ball is at his court, if he refuses to sign, he goes for free next summer...How on earth we allowed things get to this stage, sheer incompetence if you ask me...
We should just look at a possibility of a player exchange because I don't see any team paying anything substantial to sign him now... |

Perhaps 3 things can be true. . Nagelsmann can be useless too. He better live up to the hype this season. He's been put in charge of a much better team. He better deliver. afrodoc2: We can’t allow that one. Poch and Amaka are not the only managers in the world.
2 things can be right. Poch can be useless and Amaka can be useless too. |

The fact that some players choose to start playing for their respective clubs soon after the Euros ended doesn't mean everyone must do the same. Just a more general note. Surely some players work harder than others, but if every player satisfies a minimum level of seriousness, I think it's ok. The workaholics can continue working away. However, if your point was to opine that Pogba should be let go, cos he's unserious, then I am with you 100%, , just not for the stated reason. He's a good player that can be world-class twice in a week-long tournament. He's overrated. Kick him out and let a more serious player take his role, but make sure you get good money for him . Very simple. Mrviktor: Griezmann is playing preseason.. He has played 2 games.
DePay has played twice.
Kante... Werner... Havertz too.
But oluwa Pogba dey do tour round Instagram |

Make Playoffs no reach finish make you come dey tell us say Westbrook is a choker ooo. When you make your bed, sleep in it. steady986: The Lakers got Westbrook. Great. I expect the Lakers to be top 3 in offensive rating next season. Now let's see how we fill out the roster. We need a centre that can spread the floor, plus a nice 2 guard (bye KCP ) Also, it looks like THT would have a more prominent role next year. Needs to work on his jumper, that's one drawback in his game.
I'm already excited for next season. |

First bolded: you could say this for other countries too. It ultimately depnds on your skillset. Second bolded: You stayed in a country for 5 months, and you think that's enough tim to judge what is and what isn't. I find it hard to understand that any reasonable person would say this. Third bolded: Are a lot of our people not working as slaves in UK/Australia/USA/Canada? Third bolded: Are you kidding me? Who says stuffs like this anymore? Ofcourse, Benin republic, our neighbour is far better than that poor country called Turkey. Fourth bolded: i quite agree with this. if you don't know what you are doing, don't go to Turkey. Go to the US/UK where it doesn't matter how dumb you are, as you would still be fine. Or go to countries like Korea where using the toilet of a certain institution would get you digital coins you can trade for goods. What a bunch of unserious people. feelgoodstuffs: I wonder why people are killing themselves to go to Turkey , some are hiding under “student” a country I stayed for 5 months and I regret, nothing dey for Turkey, there are many African countries better, your number one problem is the language barrier, go and see how our people are working as slaves. This is to tell you how hard Nigerian economy is. Everybody just want to japa. I can’t advice anyone to go there with the intention to “hustle” except you be Yahoo! |
Travel › Re: Turkey Visa Application Delay by benji93: 11:45am On Jul 26, 2021 |
First bolded: Not True. It looks like you don't know much about the country you are trying to sell. I have no problem with people saying all sort of good stuffs to help their minsistry, but ignoring the negatives or only touching them superficially is wickedness. Either you present details of both sides or you don't. Surely we must survive, but it's rather selfish sometimes. It could ruin their lives. Second bolded: It's not as easy as you make it seem. Getting English teaching Jobs is difficult and Job Security is usually not assured, even with TEFL certificate, and you are probably in trouble if you don't. In fact we know a lot of schools ceremoniously refuse to pay the foreign teachers, and you wouldn't be able to do much about it, since you probably cannot navigate their legal system and probably don't have a work permit. And then their issues of knowing the language, as would be preferred at some language institutions. This is what you all do with your sweet talk, drawing Yahoo boy or potential yahoo boys, some of which have tarnished the reputation of Nigerians-in which case some of their banks will never open an account for Nigerians. We might never be able to fully tap into the benefit the system offers becos of this. Most Nigerians that are considering moving to Turkey do not have capital, so turning yourself into an intermediary between clothing factories and retailers in Nigeria is not that easy. There are issues like, are you going to live in Turkey? How many customers do you have? (I don't want to talk about how difficult it is to get a customer base). How often will they order? I mean it's not as if they would have been out of stock by the end of the month, so in that case, how will you survive here? Third bolded: That's easy to say only to get here and realize that o boy, there are all sorts of hoops i have to jump through along the way. Fourth bolded: Are you kidding me? Restaurant business. You consider this something you should mention in a country where the English is not the predominant language? And you even thought to tell people that within a few months you should know the language well enough to access the opportunities. Very misleading and ruinous. Very very shallow description. I am trying very hard not to insult you here. Do the needful. JeksNelius: To me, I think everyone has a reason for traveling. Your reason might not be another person's reason. It's quite understanding that there is no job in Turkey coupled with the fact that it's purely a core Muslim country. But the truth is that it's also a country filled with opportunities. You have to stay in Turkey for few months, travel around, learn the language before you can grab the opportunities. Let's take for instance, Turkey is leading in clothing material world wide. You can get a few cloth sellers in Nigeria before coming here. You can buy things for them and get your commission. You can establish a clothing line as well. You can also teach English, you can work online or remotely even in USA while you are in Turkey. You can go into money exchange, you can buy used stuffs and send to Naija, you can buy building materials, POP, beddings, kitchen sets, security doors and gates, food items etc and send to Nigeria. You can also send a lot of things to Turkey from Nigeria. If you go into restaurant business, you can make money as well. There are a million opportunities here just that you have to study the place first before you can fit in.
If you need more insights or what you can do to survive here, just hit me up.
Best of luck guys. |

To be frank, recruiting them from the NCAA is a risk, you need some of those playing in the WNBA, but well those one go dey do yanga. . While on one hand, i wish they could represent us, I mean we need all the help. But on the other hand, I can't help but say, well you had it coming, playing for Nigeria was just an afterthought. PDPGuy: This article encapsulates my opinion on what the Ogwumike sisters (Nneka and Chiney) should have done right from the beginning: they should have chosen to represent Nigeria.
Hopefully, this episode will cause the NBBF to be more aggressive in persuading talented basketballers of Nigerian heritage in the NCAA tournaments or the NBA and WNBA to don the Green-White-Green. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/olympics/2021/07/21/nneka-ogwumike-nigeria-usa-basketball-olympics/ |
