But sincerely, we have seen a lot of senseless sanctions on Russians that might not necessarily be connected with what is going on with Russia/Ukraine. Even russian investments abroad are not spared i.e. Chelsea fc and lots of others.

Na family matter. The Nigerian Police is one of the most unfortunate tragedies to befall this country.
I remember the night myself and wife were detained by the DPO of Isashi for allegedly breaking curfew rule. We were both essential workers in the health sector. We had our exemption letters, permits, IDs etc. But the Bastard refused to check and was acting all dumb and stupid. We slept behind the counter pending our colleagues called the CP the following morning for our immediate release. They suddenly became jittery, asking silly questions... like where did we know the CP from? Is he related to us?
Can we really get it right in this country? Our orientation is too bad! A large chunk of Nigerians are too badly behaved!! Can it ever get better for this country?

It is just too sad that just when we try to see some hope, then we always hear of these madness from the Government and people. Pure madness!!
They are trying to be like Saudi Arabia or UAE, but only in Sycophancy and not in developments.
You can't supply electricity, no fuel, bad roads everywhere. The current Nigerian Police is a complete sham! A complete disgrace!! Now proposing to have religious identity, it will be completely fu.ked!

Something similar happened to me last weeks. I logged into my wema bank mobile banking app so I'll spend money in my alawee account that I've not touched oooo. Lo and behold. I saw another bank account there with 2.2mil naira. Note I used my own Mobil banking details to login ooo only for me to see another person account number on my profile. I had access to empty the whole 2.2m using the same mibile banking pin as i used in logging in ooo or finger print but i ignored. I just called bank straight and for over 5days bank didn't do anything. I had to call them again warning them that i have no interest in the money as i don't know how it became attached to my profile and i also do nor have any interest in the funds there. I told them this is the sixth time I'm contacting you concerning this. I won't be part of whatever fraud you guys are planning. I also instructed them to record the call conversation as it would be used as evidence against them should incase of any fraudulent activity i warned. After about 24 hours later they restored my account. See screenshot attached below

Screenshot bears my real account account name (Red Arrow), (Green Arrow) account number. If you check the account number with another mobile banking app you'll see it's a different name.

This world is really a mistery! If we have all these people who return money that is not theirs (at least in the last 1week, we have seen several cases), so who are the criminals in this Nigeria still steal money? I don't want to talk about other criminalities.
Who are the criminals in this country? Can we just gather them and throw them into the Ocean so we can have the Nigeria of our dreams!!

Whenever you read a report most especially that involves killing, your mind won't just be at ease. The Nigerian Police lacks every ioarta of trust. It doesn't matter which rank the story is emanating from. Your mind will just be like hmmm! Hope this was what happened sha! Hope there has not been an extra-judicial killing, because they act just like criminals too.

I had similar experience, I credited 2.450,000 (two million four hundred and fifty thousand naira) I waited for 6 days to see who credited me and none. My cousin actually deposited 5k in my account to help him buy some medication and the and there was a lady in front of him that brought the 2.450Million. Our account numbers were the same only with a digit differentiating it. We'll to cut the long story shut, I went to the bank and told them, and the reverted the money back. Later the evening the cashier called and thank me, he told me he has been in Police custody. You can imagine his experience

I needed to withdraw 35k this morning in order to attend to some urgent cash needs and since I didn't want only N1000 notes I decided to enter the banking hall. To avoid issues I arrived before 8 am and was one of the first to be attended to. The cashier paid me with N20k bundle and counted 15k with the counting machine twice and gave me my bundle. I didnt bother to do another count as I saw her use the machine twice. Only for me to get back home and realise I had an extra N32k. I counted and recounted but it was an excess.

Truth be told times could be much better Covid and Buhari did not help matters but as a Christian I know not to keep what is not mine. God knows it could have solved a lot of problems but its best to wait for what is mine so i had to go back to the bank and wait to see the Teller. Looking at her interact with her colleagues one could tell she was not happy.
When it was my turn she asked what kind of transaction I wanted and I just handed her the N32k. The relief and joy on her face could not be hidden. She had already told her colleague beside her that she was short so they both joined in telling me thank you.

As usual some may say I was foolish for returning the money but either a young lady could have lost her job in these terrible times or at least the money would be removed from her salary which is still bad enough.
My only prayer is God should consider this and remember me for good.

This is always my pain in this country. Pain of everyday. I always say it that Nigerians are badly behaved. You are one of the very few upright Nigerians, very very few.
I hope and pray we all learn from you and continue practice what you have just done. I remember sending back a transfer N86,000 back to the Owner who over paid me and even when my company over paid me. I will never steal what is not mine. I am not rich but not poor either. I still believe in this country. May be we will get there someday...
