Loopers Club Ponzi scheme has collapsed dashing the hopes of its numerous members who are now victims.

By estimate, more than 15,000 people must have lost several millions of Naira to Loopers Club.

The Ponzi scam was started in less than 30 days ago. Loopers Club was fashioned after the usual social financial network model where people donate money to themselves without a central bank account.

In their typical excuse, owners of the site announced that the site will be going on a routine maintenance. A former member of the scheme told PageOne.ng that Loopers is gone for good. He actually hinted that the owners of the scheme might be looking at starting another one should they find it impossible to convince people that the scheme will restart.

Setup a print server using one of the PCs as this server, then share the printer! Remember this can be possible if the systems are on the same network segment! The printer doesn't necessarily need to be a network printer

1.) CBN is like your Civil Service....... Not the "best brains' employed there! (Quota System, catchment Area, State Nomination, e.t.c )
They cant develop such systems, in the next ten years!
So, it has to come from "the private sector which is "profit driven".
Even Banks dont develop their own software platform, they buy it... like the CBN
..and when you buy something, you pay for it. Period.

2.) They are not making profit! They are receiving payment for the Service they are rendering to the Government.
How this payment is made, is based on those who "negotiate the agreement on Nigerian's behalf".....
..Unfortunately, the NEGOTIATION is done our behalf by GREEDY and SELFISH Civil Servants and Politicians.
They just messed up! Though l think they have collected "kick-back" from System Specs because Nigerians are generally not this stewpid when it comes to MONEY!

3.) It is actually about transparency!
Before now, you could NEVER know how much each Ministry spent or how much is remaining!
They simply loot it when its getting to the end of the financial year!

I pity whoever put up this writeup! I was opportuned to go through an article a fortnight ago on one of the dailies regarding different ways through which MTN evades taxes and fails to pay royalties! The method discussed therein is called "Transfer pricing" it involves MTN paying some sums of money in billions of dollars to MTN Dubai a company whose office/ establishment isn't more than a four bedroom apartment in a city, and the article talked about how companies shortchange their countries of operation by siphoning monies due them to some offshore accounts! I think the 1.4 trillion naira isn't anywhere near the billions of dollars that have been moved over the years
