Most Liberal States tend to be more lenient than Conservative States with they prison sentencing laws on murder cases.

Most Conservative States still have the death penalty for first degree murder sentence.

I agree with you - the penalty for murder in Ekiti State is death by hanging. In new york it's difficult to charge first degree murder because of the laws; as a result many murders walk free or receive light sentences in New York.
