042rebel: Sometimes we let our emotions take over our reasoning. CNN was right. There was a curfew yet we turned up for protests. And whoever dispersed protesters with live ammunition should equally have his head examined. What happened to water cannons, rubber bullets and teargas? How many rubber bullets and water cannons do Nigerian police have? These are imported products.... |

Rebuke: Smh. They cannot escape this one. Too many evidence to nail them.
Look guys, the tears today, the pains today they are all because of the love for this country.....a lot of things are not reported here and I am very disappointed.
Nairaland, I don't know what is happening but if we ever need yhu, now is the time.
Show us yhu are with us and not against us......
For those who hide behind th keyboard typing rubbish, yhu all know nothing.
This protest has been peaceful until the paid hudlums showed up. People went out to fight for the right of the youths not with the intention of violence whatsoever but because the wicked people yhu call leaders wanted to have something to nail the peaceful protesters, they started what yhu see as violence during the protests.
An ambulance coming to rescue the injured at tollgate was turned back by the army despite every explanation.
They are still denying right?
Now yhu all have seen how wicked aND mischievous these uniform men are. Black on black wickedness - this is why some dislike negros |

Negros stop letting emotions becloud your judgement. |

greenhulk: Africans generally, especially Nigerians behave like zombies. It's just in our DNA . All it takes is just for 1 person to lead an action and the rest will follow without asking questions. In as much as I think the edo prison break is an insider job, we all saw protesters getting overjoyed that prisoners are escaping, some of the escapees are murderers, robbers, kidnappers oh. Not even thinking about the implications. Tomorrow those escapees will still join the protest and go to commit more crimes, probably try to to to a police station and free more criminals.
As much as the protest started as a peaceful protest, it only takes 1 or 2 people from the protesters to turn violent like attack a police post, the rest will follow. This is a country where if 1 person in a market shouts ole ole on anyone (even when he's not sure he's the thief), before u know it another person would give him a dirty slap and before he can try to explain himself a mob would already be on him beating him up without asking what he did. And before I can say jack he's already set ablaze. Now ask any of the attackers what he did they will tell u he's a thief. What did he steal? They will say they don't know. That's how daft many people in this country are. And this is why this protest can easily turn into violence because our mentality is just weak. Another example is doing beauty pageant at a protest or converting a protests to a display ground for guys to display flashy cars etc to girls. Blacks have low iq - it's not racism there are scientific facts to support it. Abacha and politicians that loot don't they know they will die one day? It's low iq. |

ApostleAnarchy: I love the respect and treatment being given to dead protesters. In a country where we've been dying like fowls without government showing any form of official memorials to their names or preventing further unnatural deaths whatsoever. I think I prefer dying while protesting than dying of hunger or dying of bad road etc silently. I have found an honourable way to die #revolution _now! The roads in Nigeria are not bad the drivers are reckless..... when you have good roads it becomes worse.... Even Canada and USA have bad roads and snow roads but drivers drive according to road conditions meaning if there's snow you slow down..... but in Nigeria even with potholes - people are still doing 120km hr on roads filled with potholes and say it's bad roads. Abuja with great roads records among the highest accident rates in the country.... |
