If they could afford soup kitchens since why are they just doing it?

The fact they buy private jets first before soup kitchens reveals if the Holy Spirit is truly in operation in these churches. Only God knows. It's not for me to judge.

After years of tormenting myself with fear of hell and fear of wat God would do to me next this year I lost the fear of hell. Obviously Jesus Christ is the Son of God the power of the name and power of His salvation has been made available to whosoever shall believe (John 3:16). The scriptural command is also to strive to enter thru the narrow way and to be holy and obedient; this is the sovereign command of God to His creation and we must all (believer and unbeliever) walk in obedience rand fellowship with our Maker to be truly happy both in this world and the life after and do all Jesus commanded us.

However I found living in fear of hell is just not a way to live. I no longer fear hell because:

1. God created hell.
2. God ordained majority of mankind will end up there; though God is not willing that any should perish.
3. God is glorified through hell though we humans don't fully understand it...
4. A well known pastor known as Benny Hinn recently stood up and said in any given family God ordains some to heaven and others to hell. So if ur a family of 4 with brothers and sisters probably only 1 child is ordained to heaven so even if u go to heaven according to this wicked rubbish ur siblings are in hell and "God will make you forget" (quoting Benny Hinn). Father in hell son in heaven, so much love from a God who told us to be fruitful and multiply.

If hell was not part of Gods grand plan, he would not have created it.

This essay also asks the question: why is God designing all these wicked schemes against us if he loved us? The hardships in Nigeria is hell already, then mark of the beast and apocalypse, then Isaiah saw hell expanding, then Satan never dies in this age So satan can strike us but we can't kill it, and now God ordains some family members to heaven and others to hell. At each turn u can never have peace. Even salvation u can't be too sure until judgement day. So where is the love

I'm not a member of mfm but an attendee. I also used to criticize their die by fire and head shaking, body shaking style; still not a very big fan of the later. However the truth is that there are results, testimonies in my life and those of loved ones. Also, its one place i can go without feeling doubtful on their power source 'is it God or evil powers?' there are some situations that will respond only to the die by fire method. A lot of us are under oppression without realising it. May God grant us understanding.

When men beat their wives its normally to "show dominance" or to assert manhood; this is what feminists call toxic masculinity; it does not say all men are bad. Feminists are trying to educate men that anger is not the only permissible male emotion and that crying or sharing your feelings does not make you less of a man.
Also men are responsible for (though only a small % but the effects of their actions are felt by 80% of the population): kidnapping, terrorism, gang violence, reckless driving, murder, assissianation. In short men are savage animals in need of redemption of Christ? Why are men so violent?

Toxic masculinity is a bigger issue. This is not just a "gender war", its the truth. Who performs kidnappings? assassinations? murders? armed robbery? most rape? the only crime where men and women are 50-50 is performance of cultism.

You are more likely to be fatally affected in your life time (serious injury or death) by toxic masculinity than by toxic femininity.... most men in nigeria increasingly prefer to hire female staff because your male driver could plot something for you one day.

How many times have we seen girls and women performing armed robbery and killing in the process? Not at the same rate as the males!

In every country, over 90% of prison populations for violent crime of this nature are males.

Those who will come out to defend males keep doing so until u and ur family is affected.

Boys need to be brought up to be like girls to curb this violence.

Say no to toxic masculinity.

Men only seem to commit crimes. check very well, they're men who commit such crime because of a woman. Either to please her, or to meet up with expectations. And other times the devil just whispers crime into his ears

Yes a lot of men commit crime IN FRONT OF A WOMAN to show the woman he is a "real man". This phenomenon is referred to by sociologists and phychologists as "Toxic masculinity".

If it's as a result of partriarchal pressures, is it time to end partriarchy?

Women should not have to be afraid of rejecting a man lest he kills her and others; men should not grow up believing that they’re owed sex by women. These should not be tall orders.

Before another young man decides to take his misogynist rage out at a school, or a gym, or a city street – let’s finally do something.

Child support is a scam that must be resisted by any reasonable man.

When women divorce their husbands in Nigeria, the court tell the men to give the wife money for the child's upkeep.. usually not more than 20k
the courts don't call it child support here.

what I want is there should be a particular amount that should be generalized not that some men will be ordered to pay 10k while some are ordered to pay 100k.. like what nonsense ?

and the courts will still go ahead to say the man "must " sponsor the education of the kids till the final level thus exempting the woman from the child support.

those are some of the reasons why a sensible man shouldn't support it because women are exempted from it. BTW in Nigeria court don't specify the number of hours or days a man is supposed to have with the kids.

I don't see any reason why a man should pay child support if he's not guaranteed unlimited hours to his child.

Some women use the kids as bargaining chips to make life better for themselves.
we don't even have effective enforcement laws in Nigeria because some men default and some don't even pay but nothing happens.

Great and salient point. With child support payments should come unlimited visitation. This calibrates with the court as well that the woman is using the money properly.

I'm against that too. Sign a pre-nuptial, get the woman to sign a declaration/ affidavit that everyone will keep wat they bring in. Do only traditional wedding no court. There are ways around it.

He is lucky they didn't kill him. In a situation like that it's wise you do everything they ask because those robbers most times are high on drugs when they operate and the slightest disobedience could cost you your life.

That was how a friend of mine was shot for refusing to open the door for the armed robbers, he was shot on his thigh. Luckily he started walking about 10 months later after the surgery and orthopedic rehabilitation.

More worrying is the fact that gun violence and robberies most of the time are perpetrated by the male gender. Yet nobody wants to discuss this.
