Deadline for these two are in 2015; this is no longer a joke. If these two ever get implemented in its current form, the days of the anti-christ are here. not trying to scare you. Without BVN you cannot operate your bank accounts from 2015 or so.

I laud the National ID initiative. National ID is fine but it should not be linked to Mastercard.

Research has shown that girls and women are most fertile between the ages of 19-24 (25 borderline) - for child birth etc low risk of miscarriage. Then again most girls within this age bracket are very good looking (fresh skin effect).

As long as there continues to be nice guys out there, I will continue to have an edge in this game... if you took her phone from her and threw it in the gutter she will probably love you more because in her head you are a real man. Nice = wimp. Its chick logic and it makes no sense but thats how they think. Next time, be less nice; just buy her a card. She would have appreciated heavy banging on the bed more than that 130k. The only people that appreciate niceness are men... women do appreciate occasional niceness only.

Persistence is a soft skill. You need to persist until it works; the only other option is not to marry ur bf which is unacceptable.

Most marriages have one hurdle or another, it is never smooth sailing - most times someone may disapprove somewhere...

Bear in mind that you can also "force" their approval by going ahead anyway; with time they will get used to it.

It could be a closed minded mentality because Nigeria is not as diverse as UK so most of these parents talk about "our cultures customs" etc

Find out what their concern is, then address it. Show willingness to learn native customs and traditions and language etc.

I think they are more concerned of adaption than your being white :-)

These are real life stories - and yes I acknowledge men could do these too but in my experience its more common with women.

a. woman calls off wedding and leaves you after engagement.
b. woman cancels plans multiple times with short notice.
c. A partner of 5+ years wakes up one morning and tells you she is not sure how she feels anymore.
d. The woman uses you for money.
e. The woman changes plans to suit her selfish needs - no consideration for anybody/ anything else!
f. She dates multiple guys behind your back

So my question is is it not better to make your own plans and let the woman live with it than to involve the woman in the decision making given she can bail out anytime?

And how can we insure ourselves from some of these behaviors.

Forgive me but I want to date and marry young blood; this is my requirement. My question is are there really Nigerian girls aged 22-23 max that arent jumping from man to man? I may not marry them immediately but serious relationship yea...

here are my reasons for this age requirement:
a.) The girls have fresher skin - sex appeal...
b.) The babe will look young for me longer with a good body - no need to cheat!
c.) Longer sex life.
d.) Grow with kids and with me.
e.) Grow old together; if I marry a babe at 30, what incentive is there to stay when there are fresher babes But if I married her young, I wil stick with her even to old age.
e.) Physically active, enough waiting time before kids roll in if any.

Any other advantages?

The question though is are Nigerian girls ready to marry at this age in general? I kow majority may not be but im ready to select from the few that are.

That is loser mentality. Its implementation can be delayed. We are praying for its delay.

I am calling on all nairaland believers to pray for the following points; if you dont pray, you will live to regret it!

1.) That the FGN should decide after the first 13million Mastercard linked IDs, to just make us national ID cards only; we do not want the multi-purpose card of the anti-christ for the next 10 years.
2.) We do not want bank verification numbers and finger print authorization for transactions; already from mar 2015, for transactions valued at 100m without BVN you will not be able to transact; let us ask God for the frustration of this plan. We are happy with just NUBAN. FGN can have finger prints no problem; but not the one that we cant buy or sell without BVN.
3.) If prayer points 1 and 2 cannot be answered, that the rapture should happen quickly!
