Most women still appoint a nanny to take care of the home and kids which means they still regard their role as "too much"....

For the logical thinkers out there, women are the main benefactors of marriage cos the man is forced to slave away for her.

It is an anomaly for a woman to be the bread winner when the man is alive. It's okay for her to do so for a few months or a few years if the man loses his job, but not permanently.

That a woman is a "help meet" does not mean she should not help herself....both are not mutually exclusive...she is a university graduate she did not go to university to become a mere helper....she went to university so she can take care of herself financially....

This is not about tribalism, but igbos have a funny mentality about dealing with ladies, money money, money!!! And on the long run the ladies got entitled to it and the men are complaining , you can't bring a monkey up with banana and withdraw suddenly. I won't use the word " simp" to qualify them but they have a very high propensity to chase women with money irrespective of any background check if the feeling is mutual.

1.When the British left, we had history in our curriculum...well well. (They were the ones who even introduced it, and trained some of our earliest historians , people like Saburi Biobaku.)

You don't know what you are talking about in your first paragraph. You don't even know how colonization works. Part of colonization is erasure of the history of the natives. The British used Indian Residential schools (where children were forcefully separated from their parents, tortured and killed if the spoke their language or participated in their culture both of which they were forbidden by the British canadian government from doing) in Canada to erase the history of the natives in Canada in addition to genocide.....they wanted to erase the history of native Canadians and native americans and they succeeded in doing that....they declared them "savages" when they arrived in Canada. After a successful colonization of Canada and USA they came to do the same in Africa.

They came to africa and declared the natives savages....that's why they said Africa is "Dark Continent" and we were in huts....its lies aimed and getting your real history erased.

So based on British record in Canada and United States, its neither true nor probable that they introduced history in Nigeria....

yes and what attracts a woman changes as she goes through various stages/phases in life... What a woman considers an Alpha/masculine man changes constantly. A younger woman in her 20s will call that reckless drug dealer throwing around cash an Alpha and masculine man and chase after him for the fun and the chance to spend money. Like I don't know how we think but
For me if my husband is putting down 100k for the house stuff i should be supporting with same amount or half of it. That's how I think family runs.

I don't expect a woman to "contribute" to house rent or mortgage- I think that's a man's job. My position is the woman should pay her own hospital bills including for serious illnesses costing millions (tho I'd support her small in such a scenario) and she should pay for her expenses.
