Took it right out of my mouth. Embarking on projects that have no direct benefits to the people is just... I don't know BC! How many football teams are there in the state? What happens to Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium?
Same with those states that go on to build airports that the common man in the state would not use.
I just don't know
Abohboy: Nice but I think he should concentrate on build better roads which don’t wear away in two months
It's a recycled number or network glitches resulting in SMS or voice calls routed in error.
sweettease: So weird... since it is a new sim and you're probably not attached to it, ditch it and get a new one before you will start telling stories that touch. If you're attached to it, you can try calling access bank and mtn to resolve the issue.
Is it that the House of Reps members are crazy or what? Did they not vet Keyamo as minister? Were they not aware for the last 5 years that there's always a Minister of State? When they invited him to face the senate/house committee ....who did they address it to?
Sacking the service chiefs may or may not be the solution at hand.
It may actually be that the force men are silently revolting in anger over the prolong stay of the service chiefs but I don't think Burutai or Monguno (NSA) or the CDS are enjoying the spate of killings right in their own states but who knows
What if the next men in waiting are not liked by the men of the forces? Would it still be in the interest of our cravings for national peace?
I think government should investigate deeply what the issues are with the forces leading to the loss of grounds in the on-going war. War against terrorists are never won.
Based on your experiences (personal or business) which go-political zone in Nigeria would you claim exhibit the most corruption in the land? People and organizations...... Please I need your honest take on this. State your candid reasons
NOTE:
Please this is not about tribalism or political affiliations but rather a way for us as a nation to know the areas we need to change as a people.
Don't come here belting about Lord Lugard and his babe's mins-match or some state lord let's be objective and have a sensible discourse. Thank you.
But we all know how they use religion as an excuse each time. It's no fault of any southerner not to have fears over religious or economic protests in the North. Back in the days when ABU students were using any academic crisis to trigger a larger crisis in the state then. I still believe it is possible.
abdulkayus: Nope u got it wrong, it can never lead to riots against religion or tribe. If the protest has underlying factors like desecration of the Holy Book or Holy Prophet, or the corpses of northerners kill somewhere were brought to the north, ehen, in that case, I can agree that it may to riot and loss of lives. But this one is against the government, so it is between the protesters and the government forces. This is not the first time economic protests is happening, it happen during GEJ also against increase in petrol price, many years ago, it also happen against the VC BUK. It is just that u guys like to associate anything about the north to bloodshed which is wrong, bigotry and danger of a single story.
While ài agree with you this is an economic protest, I don't think he was wrong to posit that it could lead to a religious uprising. Big sallah is coming and coupled with the Covid19 situation, it could form the basis of a potential religious crisis if not properly managed. They're always looking for the avenue to do this. Pampered souls
abdulkayus: This is all false. That is how riot start in Kano. I have been in Kano for over 30 years and has witness riots that happen, but it doesn't happen this way. If it was protest about corpses of northerners brought from another (e.g sagamu riot) or protest about desecration of the Holy Quran or Holy Prophet, then yes, I can agree that it can lead to riots and lost of lives. But this protest is economic protest, it wouldn't lead to riot except faceoff between the protesters and security personnel. Most of u guys has never been to North but will be thinking that you know everything about them.
As usual, they'll mobilize the almajiris and other charlatans who don't even have a table or store to cause mayhem on the streets. Worried about the non-indigenes with stores there. I hope they keep safe though.
We are too angry as a nation. All the senators need to do is exhibit interest in the revealation and seek to investigate more but no, they try to muzzle Akpabio into silence ...not good. Akpabio is a former senator and ought to have been accorded respect though we all know he's not clean. We can't continue this way.

kikero: Am sure some people will soon come here and say the buildings are ugly
Well, the fees are less than N100000 naira only. That's $258. Meanwhile all those nice universites abroad charge fees as high as $10000 and above. So they can have nice and beautiful buildings.
