Big sallah is coming and coupled with the Covid19 situation, it could form the basis of a potential religious crisis if not properly managed. They're always looking for the avenue to do this. This is all false. That is how riot start in Kano. I have been in Kano for over 30 years and has witness riots that happen, but it doesn't happen this way. If it was protest about corpses of northerners brought from another (e.g sagamu riot) or protest about desecration of the Holy Quran or Holy Prophet, then yes, I can agree that it can lead to riots and lost of lives. But this protest is economic protest, it wouldn't lead to riot except faceoff between the protesters and security personnel.
Most of u guys has never been to North but will be thinking that you know everything about them.

As usual, they'll mobilize the almajiris and other charlatans who don't even have a table or store to cause mayhem on the streets. Worried about the non-indigenes with stores there. I hope they keep safe though.

We are too angry as a nation. All the senators need to do is exhibit interest in the revealation and seek to investigate more but no, they try to muzzle Akpabio into silence ...not good. Akpabio is a former senator and ought to have been accorded respect though we all know he's not clean. We can't continue this way.

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Godswill Akpabio, on Monday, clashed with the House of Representatives Committee probing the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC.

IGBERE TV correspondent monitoring the development reports that the ugly incident happened when Senator Akpabio claimed that some contracts were given to some members of the National Assembly.

The statement which angered the House of Representatives told him not to make such statement again.

As at the time of filing this report, Senator Akpabio is still testifying before the committee.

IGBERE TV had reported that the Acting Managing director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Professor Daniel Keme Pondei collapsed before the House of Representatives Committee probing the commission.

IGBERE TV correspondent monitoring the development reports that Mr. Pondei has been rushed to the hospital.

I get you clear but many may not understand where you were driving at. Many delved into software development because of the successes of renown platform owners etc and looked to becoming one. In doing this, they get distracted a lot and lose focus at the outset due to the many technologies out there. Some will say learn Laravel, others Java or React, NodesJS, Android, Swift etc. Focus is key

It's was nice then showing off your latest android app(with help from stack overflow) and feeling like the next zuckerberg by building an fb clone.
Every guy in my lodge(at uni) knew laravel, but you'd search the whole campus to find someone who could implement a crude version of PageRank.
Of course you know it takes a great deal of theoretical cs to architect high performing software, and thats where the money is.
For me, getting into web dev without knowing the underlying theory would be a waste of your time......at least it was for me.

Ooh dear. Driving in Nigeria is crazy and risky. The reason why when you alight from a vehicle, don't walk right in front of it as the driver might just zoom off hitting you, rather walk behind it.

It's difficult to understand who's at fault here but. Y thoughts is probably the friend saw her from afar and was reversing with speed to pull up along with her and missed it.

It's only in Nigeria you have to watch out for vehicles driving against traffic and when crossing the road you have to watch out on both sides for traffic. Rip baby girl

Very sad indeed What may have caused her death must have been too sudden else perhaps the doctors would've been able to save her baby at 8 months. We must be careful though in concluding whether its village people that caused her death or the public dancing display while preggers which I personally loathe but then, every one has their own preferences. To add that some people can be weird about seeking medical attention while pregnant ...you know all these 5G conspiracy theories and COVID19 ...in this time and age, no woman should die giving birth.

Been reading people's responses ...yes she's an adult but how old is she now? Young ladies who married at a very young age (way less than 23 years old) at a point in their life stats feeling trapped or lost their teenage years and are prone to having a divorce before they reach the age 30. Not projecting or wishing her a divorce but unless the guy can keep up to the trends teenagers are used to ....I'm sorry the future looks bleak. She's virtually growing up with the man's other teenage daughters, she will soon start seeing herself in their mould especially when they start dating and starts craving it.
