Well one just have to make sure that new 'patterns' have not evolved with the new PayPal craze in Nigeria grin Whereabout in Lagos are you located and what service is that you're funding? Maybe I can assist.

emmakins: common its not a scam.. i use my UBA Africard for my paypal, but usually i don't leave money in it. its only when i want to make make a transaction online i load it. and there's a service i want to pay for online, and today being sunday is the deadline, banks are closed so i can't load my card to fund my paypal. so thats the reason i need someone in Lagos to help me out and we can meet in person so i pay him cash.
you don't have to assume every body is a scammer.
Celebrities › Re: 13-year-old Boy Discovers Bomb Near Kano Mosque (Picture) by bigtt76(f): 6:02am On Jun 29, 2014
It goes unnoticed in churches because of the over-seemingly interest only in posh cars at those churches. Who will give a damn if an old rickety looking Toyota Tercel is parked outside the gate of a church? If its not disturbing the aesthetic value of the church ....then let it be that's what any usher would say undecided

I guess if a Porsche Cayenne were to be parked and abandoned at any church premises, they would make sure it is cleaned daily and announced over the radio until the owner comes around grin

Such cars parked at a mosque would attract any typical Hausa Man attention because of the value they would derive from such scrap grin

Point is stop looking down on people because of what they wear or drive to church and be attentive enough to discover strange faces.

Abiagirl777: only the bombs planted in the churches,in the xtain parts of the north eg. Chibok,in Jos and sabon-gari where igbos are majorly de residents, goes off.who is fooling who?

Not doubting their academic strenght but kids trained in a balanced environment excel better. Nigerians excel anywhere outside our shores no doubt.

Nice one ...sacrificing for them. Hope they're aware of this and do the same when the time comes. Stay blessed.

azzima: ejy do Nigerians have that pauper mentality? my children went to diwen and finished the last year of high school in new jersey. they were way ahead of their mate in nre jersey. yes I could have been driving a range with that type of money buy I chose to drive a Camry just to get the best. for them wjile y friends were driving Mercedes. u give your child the best.

Which kin fly abroad? Ghana na abroad?

Nothing wey den de teach these kids o!

Mad Cow: Education isn't cheap.

I happen to know a couple of kids who attended some of these schools and understand why these schools charge absurd fees in tuition.

The level of education in these schools are top notch. No child gets lost in crowd. Maximum of 12 in a class. Field trips and excursions are part of their curriculum. A lot of hands on projects and the schools pay close attention to each child to identity weaknesses and strengths.

I don't blame them at all. That's why I dey hustle hard for my kids to attend such schools or I fly them abroad where they get same standard of education for less.

These are Ivy League schools.

At the end of it all, all we get to see are obese kids, trouser-sagging kids none with any sporting skills and endjng up being bullied by other less privileged kids on the street.

Dowen College for one, located in Lekki has an overflooded draininage system passing in front of the building, no standard football pitch or others ....just the classroom building and hostel opposite it. Their food os not even catered for by The Place or any other exotic eatries ...na some cheap cooks for inside lekki der ...some blocks away from the school, they cook their food ..so why spend 2 million naira? grin

iphoneloaded: No I'm not into it grin

But my card often traps in my school first bank, that means I must wait for some weeks to withdraw cry

I would get a FB account as alternative if not porting.
The only reason why a card would be trapped in a 'sane' ATM is if the card user is trying guess the card's PIN and keeps failing, the machine sees it as a 'brute force' attack on the card and holds on to it as it believe the card may have been stolen.

Same mechanism as what we have on our web emails or applications where user access is blocked until certain conditions are met.

The 'card trapping biz' is when someone engages knowingly in trying to hack other people's credit/debit cards.

Travel › Re: Can I Travel With A Gambian Passport(no Stamp) To Nigeria From The UK? by bigtt76(f): 7:00am On Jan 08, 2014
The thing is you would need to get the UK Immigration stamp you out of the country before arriving Nigeria. That would show your source country.
