I guess some of you were under the illusion that Israelis are all nice people, seeing as they feature in the bible and all that. If you read the bible without blinders, you would know they are like any other people. I have no problems with their covenants etc, but Im not one of those making pilgrimages to the "holy land" and gushing with awe. At the end of the day, they are just people, and yes they are can be very racist. Someone should post this in the religious section lol

For those who tithe, I urge you to follow the pattern in Genesis 14, that is, take communion the way Abram and the King of Salem did, and SAY the words that were exchanged between the two. Remember that Jesus also observed communion, so it is obvious that some of these seemingly ordinary acts have deep significance. Obviously, you should never give because you feel condemned or because you are pressured to by anyone. If you must tithe, take the time to do a personal study and convince yourself of what you are doing. And MAKE SURE to prove God in it, don't just tithe, then forget about it.

1. I will not admit his death

2. Instead, I'd look for his look-alike who would impersonate him

This is my humble suggestion.

Here is how your scenario would likely play out

1. Word leaks at the highest levels of security that Shekau is indeed dead, and we have a double running a false flag operation

2. Some of these highly placed security folks are BH sympathizers, so they hatch up a plan to use your own trick against you

3. They coopt your double, finding a way to make him switch allegiance (every man has a price, even if it is not money)

4. Your shekau double now no longer works for you, but he doesnt tell you. Using your resources, he secretly rearms BH, or at the very least buys time for BH to regroup

5. By the time you finally realize your double agent has become a triple agent, he is already in the wind. Now you have a fresh insurgency on your hands, and you dont have the balls to tell mr. president how you tricked yourself.

6. Moral that security agencies should generally follow. In trying to confuse the enemy, dont confuse yourself lol

1). The U.S. govt DOES NOT depend on oil revenue to finance it's budget, unlike Russia where oil sale accounts for a huge chunk of their budget revenue. A price point or volume negative change will cause a decrease in revenue.

2). I don't know where you got the fact about $30 and $70 respectively. Please visit the EIA's website before speculation. However, the U.S. just like Europe has been buying OPEC oil prices (maybe not exactly - discount factors), and then the average U.S. motorist paid about $3.45 / gallon, let alone when the U.S. is self sufficient with subsidies... Are you serious now?

3). Again, the pricing doesn't really affect the U.S. because when there's excess oil and different grades, using Nigeria as a case example, prices will decrease. Nigeria is feeling the effect now. Saudi is feeling the effect reason why they are diversifying. It will have little or no effect on the U.S. market because market prices will remain unchanged so that the U.S. can ensure that excess supply exist... Simple economics. U.S. and Europe have been paying high prices for gas i.e. IF gas was bought at OPEC prices, so again, how will it be wiped out?

A crash in market price means the US industry will NOT make a profit, killing their business. This will in turn lead to re-dependence on other sources of oil. this is something the US does not want. Don't forget the laws of economics: excess supply will cause prices to crash. If that's the case, which is even the case of of today, gas prices have gone down. Don't put your hope on that because you will be sadly disappointed because prices have been on the decline over the past few months. Example. Saudi crude oil costs $30 per barrel to produce. US crude oil costs $70 per barrel to produce because they use fracking. As long as the final cost per barrel is say $100, both Saudi and US make a profit. If oil price crashes to $50, Saudi is hurt, but will still make money. The US crude oil industry would be wiped out because now you are making a loss of $20 as opposed to a profit. Simple profit and loss. So, again, it is not in the US interest to let crude oil crash.

Prove what has been proven with evidence in lawsuits against shell? They couldnt sue Abacha because the chances of getting a a fair judgement in Nigeria is zero. But they could sue Shell because it was a foreign company, and therefore could be sued in a place with a sane legal system.

That the specially convened military tribunal and the execution (hanging) by the military had no Abacha input.

Abacha was busy with something else and didnt notice the rape and pillaging of the Ogoni.
The repeated frustrations of the Ogoni 9's lawyers (who would quit) was an accident. Abacha had nothing to do with it.
That somehow, convicting the Ogoni 9 without proper defense was a fair thing, and Abacha could have done nothing about it.

If oil price crashes, it will take down the US oil industry too. Remember that American oil is expensive to extract. It only makes financial sense if the price of oil is high enough so that they can make a profit. I dont think the US is willing to risk oil independence and a growing economy to hurt Russia.
