gidado14:Fantastic question there! If we were just 2 million people in Nigeria with the same resources we have: 1) All Nigerians would be billionaires 2) Electricity would be so stable Nigerians would never know what it means to be in darkness! 3) Nigerians would never know what generator look like because they would never need it 4) Of course there would be no crime because everybody would be stinking rich and comfortable even when even when jobless. 5):and many more. God bless Nigeria!

By the way, when will Nigeria invade and bomb Cameroon to recover Bakassi Peninsular? Bakassi must be recovered by fire by force! |

Hmmm! I agree with you on the aspect of human development. I like to see the people of Akwa Ibom emerging as one of the greatest IT gurus in Nigeria developing world-class futuristic softwares; I like to see some of the most successful companies in Nigeria being owned or at least efficiently run by Akwa Ibomites. I like to see some of the best award winning artists in Nigeria coming from Akwa Ibom. I want to see Akwa Ibomites among Forbes' billionaire list! Those are the kind of news that will truly gladden my heart. Nevertheless, building good infrastructure is still a good place to start. But the government and people of Akwa Ibom State need to do more in the area of human capital development. Kabongo1: |
On the surface that sounds nice Mr. Governor, but the problem is, a criminal will always be a criminal! Most, if not all of these yahoo boys are NATURALLY crooked, derives pleasure in being lawless, combined with a get-rich-quick mentality. So even if you employ them and pay them a million naira monthly, their crooked nature will still push them into criminal activities. |

Nigerians with their incurably twisted, dark and negative mentality! I see this type of question as an insult to the great bank managers in Nigeria and an insult to Nigeria as a country and Nigerians in general. If I'm able to rise to the level of a bank manager in our great country Nigeria nothing can make me accept even a tellers job in the US, not to talk of a gateman! Are you sick or something? |

All of them teenagers. What did they even want to do with the blood money at their age, that's if at all the so called ritual could give them the money they were looking for? Why is it so hard for parents and parental figures of nowadays to make these youths understand that the perfect way to make good money is by solving humanity's problems and rendering some useful service to others? God help us. |
BluntCrazeMan:You are funny sha. No need to go to court to prove anything. His open confession is an evidence against him. If he should follow your advice he would be going straight to 'hell fire' he is so afraid of as he can't undo what he just did to himself untill he forfeits all the certificates he acquired through the JAMB result. |
JAMB is right. If the guy's 'repentance' is real he should be more than willing to forfeit ALL the certificates he ever acquired through his JAMB result. That's even more critical than mere apology! |
Brothers from hell. I can't believe blood brothers could not put their personal interest and ego aside and allow one of them to be crowned the king! Another family had to take over the throne after 9 years of vacancy just because the so called brothers were unwilling to agree among themselves. Something must be wrong somewhere with that family. |
There is something about Deeper Life church that makes it unattractive and unappealing to the youths of this generation and it will get worse as time goes by if something is not done to change their boring, uninspired, archaic way of doing things. They will not only lose members to 'modern day churches' whose praise and worship services are more lively, inspiring and fun; but the church will also find it hard to expand and attract new members. I think Pastor Kumuyi see this clearly and he has been trying to find a way of 'modernizing' the church to make it attractive to youths especially. Deeper Life choir needs serious upgrade and I will advise Pastor Kumuyi and the church leadership to understudy Christ Embassy church. Christ Embassy choir is a model of what a true choir should be. Those guys are creative, highly inspired and inspiring and spirit-filled' of course. And Pastor Chris makes it mandatory for the choir to write and sing new songs in almost every service with award for the best worship song of the year and it brings out the best from the choristers. Deeper Life needs to learn from these guys. |
I actually pity the guy though. He faces danger from both genders. This whole thing may look like 'fun' but we all know the power women have to bring down great men. Apart from the possibility of having his life and destiny destroyed by those daughters of eve seeking his attention, he his also at the risk of being hated and frustrated by jealous, insecure men who are envious of all the attention he is getting. Someone who is close to this guy should advise him to forget ladies and concentrate on his career. He can settle down with one woman if he needs to settle down but he must learn not to get carried away by all the attention he is getting from the ladies if he truly love his life. |
@the bolded: if the goods imported are not contraband and the importer has paid all the legally required dues I see no reason the importer should settle any corrupt customs official or any other agencies involved in the clearing process again. We Nigerians are the ones creating room for corruption and nurturing it. Jeferious: |

A very dumb question that has absolutely no meaning. Whoever was responsible for such dumb question ought to be suspended. |
I'm proud of this Obasanjo's son. A great son of a great father. I wish him all the best |

On the topic of this threat, I think lack of sound financial literacy plays bigger role in making people invest in all these type of business rather than greed as most people think. Because of financial illiteracy, most people don't ask or don't know how to ask some intelligent questions before investing their hard earned money with any company and they don't know how to do proper research on the company to know the exact business they do, the profit they make, how realistic or sustainable is the interest they claim to be paying based on the nature of their business. To me the MOST SECURE investment in Nigeria today seems to be Federal Government bonds and SEC regulated Money Market Mutual Funds. Every other investment comes with some risk and you have to invest only what you can afford to lose after doing thorough research on the reliability and sustainability of the investment |
On the surface, this your comment appears to be sound and commonsensical. However, you seems not to understand that in life nothing is guaranteed. Even the so called 'real physical' business can fold up (and they do fold up) if God's grace is not on it and the right foundation was not laid. By the way, do you even know there is no real difference between giving your hard earned money to a businessman to do business and give you interest and investing in some online business with the hope of getting interest. To me, the two carry almost the same risk of losing your money. The last three paragraph of your comment show you are not in tune with the spirit of the digital age where almost everything is going digital. In the age of digital currencies, cryptocurrencies, e-business, electronic stores and so on, it is baffling that someone could be reasoning the way you do. adonainana: |
